Extremely disappointing experience for my child's birthday party…read more I rarely write reviews, but I feel it's important to share this experience so other families know what to expect. We booked our child's birthday party here and it turned out to be one of the most frustrating experiences we've had. From the start, communication and customer service were poor. When we booked, we were told that to receive their 20% discount, the deposit had to be paid by cash or Zelle -- no credit cards accepted. We ended up sending a $300 deposit via Zelle. On the day of the party, we were unexpectedly told to pay the entire $944 up front, even though we had already paid a deposit. The staff said they would "refund" the deposit afterward, which was never clearly explained before. This caused unnecessary stress during setup since we had to gather additional cash right before guests arrived. During the event, there were several issues: We weren't asked to sign waivers until after the kids started playing, which interrupted the start of the party. The laser tag (included in our booking) wasn't ready -- the staff said the equipment was still charging. The staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful throughout. After the party ended, we stayed about 30 minutes to clean up the room -- something most places understand is part of the process. The next day, when we asked for our $300 deposit refund, we were told it was being withheld because we "stayed 50 minutes longer." That's unreasonable. We were cleaning up, not extending the party, and the children had mostly left. To make things worse, when we tried to discuss this issue, the staff was rude and unprofessional. The facility itself wasn't well maintained -- we even found garbage in the ball pit. Between the lack of communication, poor management, and the unfair way they handled the deposit, I cannot recommend this business to anyone. There are so many better options that actually value their customers. Spend your money elsewhere -- you'll get better service and less stress.

Huge modern play area, sand room, laser tag and arcade room including claw machines. The admission price is a bit pricey compared to others, open play costs $42.99 + tax for kids 3 feet and taller and 1 adult. Additional adults cost $18.99 each. It does include unlimited time as others are usually 2 hours max and it includes laser tag. Place is very large, has drinks and a small gift shop (toys, gifts etc). Place is modern and clean for now... until the next new indoor playground ground opens up.

Fantasy Forest Amusement Park is a modest amusement park that opened in Queens, New York in May…read more2013. It is located within Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The focal point of the amusement park is the historic Flushing Meadows Carousel. It contains four rows of figures, including 64 jumping horses, 7 standing horses, a lion, and 2 chariots. It was created to serve patrons of the 1964 New York World's Fair by combining two earlier carousels, both of which were carved in Coney Island in the first decade of the twentieth century by renowned carver Marcus Illions. The two historic carousels used for its construction were the Feltman's Carousel (1903) and the Stubbman Carousel (1908). While the 1964 World's Fair was going on, the carousel was located in the Lake Amusement Area. In 1968, the carousel was moved to its current spot which is adjacent to the Queens Zoo. In 2012, NY Carousel Entertainment was awarded the contract to operate the Flushing Meadows Carousel. The company made cosmetic repairs to the machine, repainting it, sanding and staining the historic wooden floor, and adding new fencing to the entire area. The following year, Fantasy Forest Amusement Park opened. The carousel was joined by additional rides which include the Corona Choo Choo, the Twirling Teacups, the Bouncy Baja Buggies, the Corona Cobra Coaster, and the Queens Motor Speedway. My family and I recently visited Fantasy Forest Amusement Park while we were spending the day at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. We spent the morning at the Queens Zoo and the small amusement park is conveniently located next to it. Although there aren't many rides at Fantasy Forest, the ones that they do have are very fun. We told our sons that they could pick any two rides to go on. First, they both accompanied me on the Queens Motor Speedway. My sons liked how the cars quickly zip around the corner during each course rotation. Afterwards they both accompanied my wife on the beautiful carousel. Overall we had a fun visit the Fantasy Forest and we hope to stop again on a future visit to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park!

There is one dedicated staff that cleans and picks up all the toys on the floor. My kids loved this place. They had a lot of fun as there is so much to do. For younger kids you do need some supervision as some kids are pretty rough. Some parents also don't care about what their kids do. My son waited to play with the trains but the kid that was playing with it took all the trains with him and his mom allowed it. My son was so disappointed. Since this place is still fairy new, things are still in good condition the first time we came. The second time we came there was more wear and tear and the canon in the ball pit did not work. However, there is still a lot to keep the little one busy. My kids are on the younger side so they don't play with the smaller toys like the pretend play kitchen and the sensory toys. My kids like the pebble pit. He spent most of this time there. On the downside there are kids who don't follow the rules and throw pebbles around. Two hours do pass by very fast but it's enough to tire out the kids. Overall still a fun place to take the kids.

There are also 2 rooms for Birthday Party rentals. The price of admission included a pair of socks and lockers were an added fee. Playground: Two story structure that was space galaxy themed with a couple of twisty slides. There's a seating area in front of it for parents to sit and wait. Go-Kart: The carts are kid sized and one child per cart, but parents can observe behind the barricades. When we went a couple of weeks ago, we got one free go cart ride for the price of admission. After that they charge $8 per child/per ride. Sometimes, they do have a promo and will include unlimited Go-Kart rides. I would call them before you go. The Arcade: This area consisted of 4 arcades games. To use the arcades, you must purchase a Fun Card. There is a $1.00 activation fee so remember to keep your card for future visits. It's important to note that the entrance is located at 133rd Place. The (free) parking is by the Whitepoint Shopping Center but there is not an entrance from there. You have to exit the strip mall and walk around the block to 133rd Place to get to the entrance. I would say this place is good for ages 4 - 10 years old. I did see some younger kids there during our visit, but I personally think it might be a waste of money to take them. Both the go-kart and arcade games are probably too old for them so the only place for younger kids to play is the playground area. During our visit, it was not at all crowded so there was practically no wait time for the Go-Kart or any of the arcades. The staff were really friendly, and a couple spoke Spanish. This place is definitely a good option if you're looking for something to do indoors.
