You MUST try the snoogles! It was worth the drive out...and the customer service was amazing...it was all very fresh...and never ending.

What can I say other than they are great! As a purist, the standard cake doughnuts are definitely my favorite. But that in no way overshadows the bacon covered maple cream sticks. read more

Sorry but I don't know what all the hullabaloo is about for Kiedrowski's. Whoever voted it #1 must not venture into too many bakeries. I trhink all their bakery has a 'mass market' texture and flavor....definitely not good old time bakery flavor. I bought an Easter Bunny Cake from them on Saturday. I was never more dissapointed in a cake ......for $16.00 I got an 7" long 4.5" high blob of icing.......about 1.5" of actual cake. It looked like an igloo. No bunny ears or tail or feet. It had a cheap plastic face of a bunny pushed into the front and the same in a tail on the back. If you want made from scratch 'today's' bakery that melts in your mouth .....then drive a little further west and go to Hammons Bakery in Vermilion. read more

I attended an astronomy star party this past September. Someone was thoughtful enough to bring a box of cookies from Kiedrowski's bakery. They were the best thin cut, iced sugar cookies I've ever tasted. I called to place an order for a program at our public library and was told the cookies are hand cut. What a treat. This is our best spot in the Cleveland area for donuts. Not only delicious, fluffy and perfect - the store associates are extremely friendly and helpful. The maple bacon log is perfection as is the glazed croissants - better than a cronut! Fluffy, sugary and sweet - a baked good dream with the buttery goodness of a croissant and the glaze of the most perfect donut with some vanilla added in for extra nice taste. This is my son and husband's spot for their Saturday Daddy Donut Day - and the polka player is a sweet touch. read more

Over the years, I have heard this was rated the #1 bakery in the country. So, when business took me close recently, I had to stop. So, was it the best? There is no doubt, for the products they carry, they are right up there. Boston, New York and yes Milwaukee had On my way! Great ones with more product lines, so was it worth it? Excellent bakery - my only complaint would be that of their items are too sweet! For instance, the snoogles are drenched in icing, which I don't think is necessary - at least, not as much as they put on. And many of their items are smothered in icing - almost overwhelms the taste of the baked items. And their frosting on their cakes is disappointing - just powdered sugar and lard - rather tasteless (and too sweet). (the frosting on the cakes from K-mart is actually better - lighter, and has some flavor) read more

Ok so the owner called today got defensive and claimed that is their rendition of a carrot cake. I am sorry but I even looked up polish carrot cake recipes and they all call for carrots, raisins and chopped nuts, some put coconut others put pineapple, but, all call for cream cheese frosting. NOT buttercream frosting and not a speck of carrot here or there. Plain and simple all we wanted was an apology for ruining my son's birthday cake and apparently we could not even get that so they have lost this customer forever! read more

Kids love it. I love the Browns, Cavs and Indians themed stuff. Very reasonable. No place to sit, but that's okay.

I don't know how this bakery won Best Bakery in America. The food is great, but not the best I've had, and I've had better baked goods in Cleveland then this place. Maybe it is because I didn't try their paczki, which I will most likely do on Fat Tuesday next year. I do have to give them this though, their pumpkin pie that I got for Thanksgiving was delicious and saved me two hours of cooking. read more

Formerly, I had great experiences here. I love the baked goods and the people were nice the few times I've been there. Unfortunately, I've just been trying to get my former favorite, a chocolate chip scone. I walked into the store and they didn't have them. No problem, that happens. I called in and was told they would be available the next week. They weren't. Called again and got my name and number taken and said they would be available for sure a week later. They weren't, even with the information I had given them and after having been promised what I ordered. I was then also told by some poor employee who of course has no idea whether they're making the stupid things anymore or not that they just 'had the wrong number' for my order and couldn't contact me. I have decided to quit going because they can't just tell me they aren't making something anymore and instead prefer to lead me on about getting my favorite pastry again. If you want something like a Snoogle, you won't have a problem. If you like something like a scone or whatever other less selling item, apperently they can't just tell you whether or not they're actually making them for the day, or week for that matter. read more

Yum! I loved this place before a food allergy developed that pretty much stops me from being able to eat here. If you can't tolerate Soy skip this place but otherwise their stuff is wonderful! My family would get cookies here for Christmas every year. I'm still known to sneak half of one at Christmas just to remember the taste! read more

It's difficult to post this review as this bakery had very good product. Now it seems they've become complacent and don't really care about what they put in the cases. Every Wednesday morning the donuts in the case look unappetizing, poorly made as though they were dipped in their coatings by small children. The coating is dull and when bitten into falls off in pieces. I believe if the product does not look good it's most likely not. This is the case every Wednesday. I'm not sure if the owners don't care or the employees-bakers or both. I believe that many people give rave reviews because someone else told them how great it was and they just go along with the lemmings. read more

I used to think this place was great. I would stop in and buy a poppy seed roll quite often. I purchased one in Sept. 2015 and when i got home i discovered some type of hair stuck to the bottom of the poppy seed roll. I sent a letter addressed to their owner/manager as to this issue.As of today i have not received a response. read more
