OMG, I went in for a little bite and something for the wide back at the hotel. I wound up going back twice more in out 3 days in town.. People were all very busy and everyone was really pushing to make everything perfect. Drive-thru was busy as was the counter inside. I can only guess about their hamburgers because ai got hooked by the tacos. Spicy and perfect, lots of tasty meat and just yummy. Frozen custard was a hit with the wife too. Ordered in the drive through today at 4:45 (peanut butter bonanza) and waited ages in drive until they told us to pull over and they'd bring it right out. Ordered from guy in his 20's with brown shoulder length hair, maybe 15 mins in the sun and finally went inside, they didn't have our order; said the order taker 'Darren' maybe? was busy - asked if our order was coming and the girl shrugged. No offer for a manager, no refund, gave us a free custard card. No offer to find this busy Darren to check in on it. Just going to dispute the charge with my credit company instead of waiting another 15 mins to get it made. Should have offered a refund, paid for a free treat coupon I guess? It's finally feeling like summer so we came by to try some custard. Honestly, this place was so busy- inside and the drive thru. As previously mentioned the drive thru wait times can be crazy. Ours was about 20 min. The workers seemed to be doing their best, so plan to be patient. The custard was pretty good. 2 did Oreo cements and I did Reese's. You know our economy is crazy when 3 custards are $22.00 It's close, so we'll probably come back at some point to try the food too. read more

This was our first time going to a Freddy's. The place looked so cute and it recently opened so we decided to give it a try after shopping. We ordered two Grilled Chicken Club sandwiches with no mayonnaise, add mustard, and a large fry. Our food arrived quickly but they should have taken more time. The fries were cold and chewy and looked like a normal size, and the chicken sandwich had mayonnaise on it. The flavors were okay and the service was friendly. I would give the food a 2 but the service a 3. The lobby was cute, but next time we'll try the other new restaurant next door. read more

So, I used to drive from Utah to Northern Idaho quite a bit, and my route took me through Missoula. And Missoula was always a meal stop, and at some point we discovered Freddy's. Bruh. When you're 2/3rs through a 12 hour drive and you can get hot, fresh smashburgers and skinny fries and frozen custard? Yes please, I'll take two. So I was driving to Cabela's to do some Christmas shopping last month, and I darn near gave myself whiplash when I saw that Post Falls had a Freddy's. I was lucky that there wasn't any police nearby because I'm pretty sure I broke some traffic laws whipping my truck around and getting into the parking lot. I entered with some amount of trepidation. Was my memory of Freddy's just a product of being hungry during a drive? Was their custard going to be as good? Were the fries going to be hot enough to scald my fingers as I scarfed them down? It was as good as I remembered. And the fries were hot and fresh. Even though it's not in my normal area of travel, I'm going to make excuses to go get burgers there. read more

No, I don't like reviewing chains, but oh well. The younger folks of our outing wanted to try them on a post-Christmas bargain shopping day, and I'll never turn a burger away. They were fine. I've had them before in AZ, and this one stands up well to the franchise. Where my heart should put a fifth-star up, is they hire special needs kids, and have them front and center with us patrons. They all did great, and Freddy's was getting creamed on a late lunch/busy holiday weekday. We've raised two Special Olympians in our house, and it's so nice to see management here give opportunities for folks to be productive citizens. Oh, and the fried Cheese Curds were chewy awesomeness. I've only tried cheese curds and frozen custard at this point, but both are delicious! In my opinion the cheese curds are better than Culver's and the frozen custard is equally as delicious! For those of you that haven't enjoyed frozen custard, again in my opinion, it is way better than traditional ice cream. The custard is just a little creamier and rich. Once I have a burger I may come back and give it a different rating, they look to be pretty darn good as well, but I have only been for a snack and dessert so far. read more

My first impression walking in was a nod to 50 sock hop diners. Great open seating with red and white decor . The boots have plenty of room for plus size people definitely a positive. If you are looking for a local smash burger at a very reasonable price this is where you can go. This time we only end up getting burgers, but I definitely wanna go back and try their sides as well as their signature custards. Service was of course friendly. The location is super clean, tons of parking, and it's nice to see more businesses in this area. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Went yesterday for the first time been wanting to check it out for a while got two of the Freddy's og burger with a turtle shake and it exceeded expectations everything was delicious and will Be our new burger spot when we are craving one! Place was clean and organized and fully stocked on all Condiments, the Smokey fry sauce was my personal favorite also big shout out to the young man Noah who helped me while also doing a fantastic job training a new employee was a breath of fresh air helped me with my order was patient with my questions and gave solid recommendations on shakes in a world full grumps be a Noah! I love when new food establishments come to town, and was excited to try Freddy's. I heard about them years ago but had never been to one. I was not disappointed! It was PACKED - but they are brand new, and it was Friday night, so no shock there. Took maybe 15 minutes to get to the front of the line, but the staff was hustling and once the order was placed, it did not take long to get the food. My only "complaint" (if you can even call it that) is that my custard was ready probably 5 minutes or so before my food was. I really would've rather had the food first and then the custard - maybe I could've asked them to wait to make it? Burger was great - I got the Freddy's Double and was worried it would be too much, but the patties were thin so it was perfect. The Tots were fantastic, and I was a fan of the Freddy's Sauce. Next time I want to try the cheese curds or onion rings - both looked amazing on other customers' trays! There's lots of seating, both indoor and out. The Stateline area is hopping and growing, and so Freddy's is in a prime location. Can't wait to go back! read more

We went to try Freddy's smash taco that we had heard about. The taco was simple enough with a burger, spicy fry sauce, lettuce and American cheese on a tortilla that was folded in half. Was a nice change from the standard fare, but next time I will go back to my normal burger. Service was excellent. And the establishment is being maintained in a very clean manner. There was plenty of seating as we got there when they opened, but I am hearing they have been pretty busy lately. read more

Darren at the 2nd window was awesome! 5-star service and friendly smile. Drive thru line was long, however I look at that as making food fresh from the order so I don't mind. Got 4 burgers, fries and custard for about the same price as 3 meals from McDonald's. So I don't see why people are complaining about price. First time at Freddy's and WOW, I'm impressed! I stopped at this brand new location during the lunch rush, and the drive through was packed, so I went inside. I walked right up and ordered the California Double Cheeseburger combo and it's very similar to my favorite In-N-Out Double Double. The fries are 1000x better than In-N-Out as well. They are the thin, shoestring fries. The wait for food wasn't bad at all for how busy they were. I'm so happy this is close to home as I'll be a regular customer. read more

Went back a second time a few months later and now the service was slow even with less people , they messed up my order, giving me the wrong item and then try it again. Still got it wrong mixed it up with three other orders around mine. My burger was paper thin this time overcooked and burnt. the place was still clean though, but they were out of Miami of the basic items, straws, fry sauce, jalapeño sauce, ketchup, all out, not sure who was restocking part that was not that wasn't clean. Was the trash they couldn't take out the trash, fast enough so it was overflowing. read more

I realize they're new, and employees are as well, but after going yesterday ( Friday) which was very busy, I ordered basic hamburgers and a fry,( our second time there) almost 26.00, that's allot for those small burgers, but that's not the reason I'm giving 2 stars, after driving all the way back to Newman lake, the order was wrong, ( which I clarified before I left that it was correct, the employee said it was. So after I drove all the way back, I talked to an employee, who said they'd get them right out, 44 min later and about ready to cancel my order and get my money back, the mgr said the burgers would be right out miraculously ! The Mgr gave his apologies , but after that long wait, it was absolutely ridiculous ! More than likely we'll find another burger place to go to !!! Ordered three meals with burgers and one custard. One of our burgers was undercooked, the rest were very tasty. Asked for lots of fry sauce but only got one so we had to park and go inside for more. Drive thru blocks in cars in the parking lot, be careful if you dine in! Nice employees, especially during the stress of lunch rush. Better luck next time, maybe we should have asked for a replacement burger. read more

First time here and we were a classic case of following the masses. Lots of cars in the parking lot and drive through. We chose the drive through. Don't do it. We waited 40 minutes! We only stuck it out because since it was so crowded, it must be good. Food was fine, nothing special. I suggest ordering online and walking in to pick up your order. Be sure to park on the far side - where you get your food at the drive through, or you will run the risk of getting trapped by the drive through traffic..... read more

Went through the drive thru and it was really busy so we expected to wait longer than normal. Staff was great and told us they have pup cups if you ask at the food delivery window. Oscar enjoyed that immensely! The food was hot but in general I am not a fan. I am not a super skinny fry gal because they cold so quickly. The basic cheese burger didn't have any kind of sauce on it? Just mustard, which when I dipped it in ketchup, tasted much better. I did enjoy the orange frost shake though. Let me preface this by saying I understand that they've only been open a few weeks and the employees were very friendly and apologetic for the wait, especially at 930-1000 at night. I waited for an hour in the drive thru line and was disappointed with the quality and the price/portion ratio. The California double was decent but fairly small, the cheese fries didn't have nearly as much cheese on them and I was shocked to see how small the mini shake came in at, considering it was almost $5 by itself. The shake was ok, but it wasn't any better quality than a Del Taco shake (which comes in at half the cost!). All in all, my total came to $17 and change so I will most likely not be back, simply because of the cost/sizes. Too bad! Wanted to give this place a try so went on Friday night. Place was very busy, to be expected of course. Ordered two hamburger meals. Order took about 35 minutes to get. Given the number of customers, I anticipated the wait. Both burgers had very soggy bottom buns and the burgers were luke warm. My burger was undercooked and not edible. My husband and I have been excited to try Freddy's frozen custard, so we drove over from CDA at around 2PM today (Saturday). We ended up parking in the lot as the drive thru wrapped around the building. We went inside to order and had a minimal wait for 2 "concrete" frozen custards, one Oreo and one Cold Brew flavored. The employee that took our order (Laura) was very nice. We took ours to go eat in our vehicle, in the parking lot, and watched the drive thru line take seemingly forever to move. Anyway, while the flavors were good, the "concrete" was not. Both had less consistency than a shake---very runny. We ate with a spoon, but could easily have drank them from the cup container. I want to give Freddy's another try in the future, so we plan to wait a few months as they are new and are likely still training staff. But we wanted the owner to be aware that their "concrete" custard is far from that. For now, when we want a treat, we will continue to frequent DQ. read more
