Black Beer Beef Debris Glazed Pork Belly
    Allie H.

Def one of my fave things I've eaten in New Orleans so far. Had the pork belly and beef debris. Both were super juicy and flavorful. My preference has to be the beef debris for sure- we may go back again because it was so good. Def a quick and easy lunch that isn't crazy expensive and is delish.

Super juicy and flavorful poboy! Got the seared shrimp and it tastes just like a great banh mi but with super plump shrimp. The freshness is obvious. Staff are very friendly too :)

Left half is seared shrimp. Right half is beef debris.

It's a somewhat small spot with several tables. You order at the counter, and someone brings your food to the table. We came for a pretty late lunch around 2:30 and got the seared shrimp and beef debris sandwiches to share. The shrimp was seasoned well and the pickled veggies balanced out the saltiness nicely. The beef was very tender and reminiscent of what you would find in a stew. It was good, but I personally preferred the more layered flavors of the shrimp. The one thing is there was too much liquid from the veggies and meat, and it made the bread instantly soggy.

I thought the sandwiches here were pretty tasty. All had tons of flavor and very delicious! Initially, I thought there was a fried shrimp po boy, but it was grilled. My favorite was the grilled shrimp with pickled carrots and daikons. It reminded me of a Vietnamese banh mi. The beef with green beans sounded interesting, but it wasn't too bad. The service was quick. You order at the counter and once your food is ready, they'll bring it to you. I thoroughly enjoyed my quick meal here.

I took an Uber to get my dinner here after arriving in NOLA. I couldn't WAIT to eat and man did this hit the spot!! I had Killer Po Boys my first time in NOLA and it was my top pick for a meal when I arrived!! I ate, I showered, I napped and this made me feel SO much better because man was it delicious!!! There's not much Ambiance, it's a small sandwich shop but there is flavor. And that's what you need!!! They have BOTH Vegan and regular Po' Boys so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. The staff is always really friendly too!! YUM.

Food Loved that there were three vegan options to choose from, we got the tofu and the cauliflower. The tofu was good and we liked how flavorful the Thai bbq sauce was and the bread was nice and warm. The cauliflower was perfectly matched, only wish it had more romesco sauce on it and that the cauliflower was a tad bit warmer. The hot sauce on the table was a nice touch. Service Order at the counter and they would bring your food out to you. There are napkins and utensils against the wall for you to grab so it is largely self-service and no frills. Ambiance: Order at the counter and grab a table. Nothing too crazy and no line at all in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. I could see this place being busy, but it was not bad at all.

Black beer braised beef debris poboy! Delicious.

Needed a quick bite. Quick it was. Cozy, no frills place. I like that. Small menu. I also like that. Ordered. Paid. Grabbed my Coke. Sat down. About a minute later my poboy was on my table. I got the black beer braised beef debris. Great flavor! Add some hot sauce and I was happy. Easy. No frills. Friendly people. Great sandwich.

We saw the Michelin sign outside the window and were excited to give it a try. We ordered the seared shrimp and glazed pork belly po boys. They were good, but nothing particularly extraordinary.

Admittingly, it isn't easy to find a veggie po' boy. It is, after all, a sandwich with a meat or seafood filling. This place, however, flips the script on our stereotypical definitions of po' boys as we can find vegetarian alternatives on the signature New Orleans French bread roll. That made me feel like I got a bit of the experience. The setup is fairly simple as you can either eat in or take it to go. Maybe about 20 people can sit inside. Nothing extravagant except for the diversity of options for vegetarians. My eyes were set on the Thai BBQ Tofu po' boy. This actually reminded me of the Vietnamese sandwiches I can get from NYC. Specifically at Num Pang. The tofu was excellent and the po' boy was nice and soft, but not doughy. Loved every bite I ate! Would definitely recommend it to others!

Killer Poboys, standout New Orleans-Vietnamese fusion sandwich spot. Beef Debris po boy delivered deep, rich beefy flavor with tender shreds and bold gravy. Fresh, inventive twist on the classic--recommended.

I stopped into Killer Poboys while staying nearby for business. I searched Yelp and found Killer Poboys. I visited and glad I did. The interior of the restaurant is small but clean and adequate if you want to dine in. I found the overhead menu easy to navigate. However there is a discrepancy with some Poboys and whole grain bread options which are listed on the website but not the menu. I ordered the collared greens and Thai BBQ tofu. Both were good. Great flavors, but the bread was just ok. I would have preferred whole grain bread but I digress. The service was good though. I'd visit again as they have some tasty looking plant based options.

I absolutely loved the poboys here!! The vibe of the place is very casual and the service is honestly fast! I really appreciated the vegetarian options, and it was so good I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. LOVED IT!!

Quick, convenient, filling, fairly priced & delicious! You order at the counter and within minutes you'll have a delicious Po'Boy set in front of you. I came here a couple weeks apart and had the shrimp the first time and pork belly the second time. Definitely prefer the shrimp, it's that fresh firm slightly sweet shrimp fresh off the boat the additional topping are perfect. I did try the collard greens which were okay, the poboy was definitely the best. The pork belly itself was tasty but I think the shrimp melded better with the sauce and toppings used. Slap some Louisiana hot sauce on there and you're set. There's a variety of options for sodas & beer/spritzers. It's a no frills but clean, quick spot. Worth coming back to.

Shrimp, ham & pimiento cheese and beef & peppers!

Everything was disrespectfully delicious. Every bite had us questioning our life choices in the best way. By the end of the meal, we were all sleepy and completely defeated by how good the food was. The staff was on point, courteous, and polite. Our food came out hot, fast, and perfectly plated with consistency that never misses. My only small complaint is that the sweet potato habanero sauce isn't as thick as it used to be. We ordered the black-eyed pea chili and the muffuletta, and the sandwich completely stole the show. The bread was perfectly soft, and you can really taste the difference in quality with their in-house meats. The olive salad tied the whole thing together, complementing the rich, savory flavors perfectly. That being said, the space gets extremely crowded on busy days. It's tight enough that you'll likely have people bumping into your chair or brushing past you while you eat and walk through the dining room. The biggest downside was the service at the counter. The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

However, I know wait times can be out the door so plan accordingly. We were dropped off by Uber, but in terms of parking, it's mainly street parking. Overall, the shop is pretty small. They have a handful of tables outside and more seating inside but it's not huge -- hence the longer lines. It's also quite eclectic with serving on plastic McDonald's plates and the music that was playing. We ordered: The ham sandwich, wedge salad, and a delicious pickle cocktail The ham sandwich had excellent flavor! I wish it had a but more ham on it, but overall the flavor was 10/10! The wedge salad had too much salad dressing. I LOVE blue cheese and blue cheese salad dressing but the lettuce to dressing ratio was off. Could have used less as I felt so much went to waste. The thick cut bacon on the salad was the exact salty touch it needed and the fresh dill was such a fresh touch. The pickle cocktail was delicious! I wish I would have ordered another one! It was slightly sweet, but also salty... SO good! Overall, I would highly recommend Turkey and the Wolf and totally stop by again if I were visiting New Orleans in the future.

I come to central deli whenever I'm with someone not from New Orleans due to the fact their muffuletta is quintessential! I would like to reiterate nothing was wrong with the food , great food purely with the lady taking orders. I got a classic half muffuletta and a "glass" San pellegrino. The lady then told me open glass is prohibited in New Orleans , I retorted with "o really I didn't know that , since when?" Before I could finish The lady then yelled with "SINCE FOREVER, IM SORRY YOUVE BEEN TO BAD BARS WHERE THEY SERVE YOU GLASS ITS BEEN ILLEGAL SINCE THE 50s" which isn't true the city changed the law in 2001. She then proceeded to open my glass bottle even though I told her I didn't want it open, so I the asked if I could get another one since she was in rage mode and didn't understand that she just contradicted herself. As I asked for the second San Pellegrino, she then takes the first one and goes "NO PROBLEM THANKS FOR THE FREE DRINK", and starts to drink the San Pellegrino infront of me as I check out, making thirst quenching noises like "AHH". As I leave she can't help but remind me for her free drink again. I'm pretty sure the management witness this whole situation and I hope they do something about, that lady doesn't realize what hospitality is and needs to be fired. I did nothing to her and I bet I wasn't the first she has blow up on. But in my eyes absolutely unacceptable.
