I ate here for lunch today. They had alot to choose from which was great, i got a bowl with half white and half brown rice. Lots of choices for protein, sauces, toppings. I love the shrimp and salmon. My bowl was topped to the brim. It was very good. I enjoyed the fact that they had sweet and unsweet tea. Lots of places i go, dont offer that, or dont have the tea ready or refilled. I ate inside, its a real small area, but the downside was it was freezing cold, with the air conditioning on. 3.5 stars..the food is good, service is great and options are decent. The really killer will be their price point. @ $13 a bowl this place might not increase their customer base. There is no other option on the menu to decrease the portion size @$13. You get your base (white, brown, or cauliflower rice, or mixed greens..you can mix too. The down side to this no sushi rice), 3 scoops of protein (hard boiled egg slices, spicy tuna, ahi tuna salmon, cooked shrimp, cooked salmon and a 3rd cooked protein), add your sauces, and additions (i.e. seaweed salad, cucumbers, green onions..the works). Myself and the 10 year would have love to have a smaller portions to make her own smaller bowl. So for 3 bowls, 3 drinks and 15% tip it was $50. We would return to see if things are rehashed a bit. This place is pretty average. Came in for lunch on a Friday around 12 and it was not too busy. Staff was super friendly and understanding the menu was easy. The quality of food was pretty good. And there are lots of options to choose from when it comes to protein and sides. However, it's three stars for a reason... biggest flaw, 13 dollars for a bowl of poke and the portion size is below average. They make sure to shake and level out the scoop of protein until they put it in your bowl. You get three scoops, but each scoop is the size of a half golf ball. Literally 2 bites and the protein is gone. Anyways, another flaw is there is only 3 raw fish options to choose from. There are more cooked options which is a plus, but poke is supposed to be raw fish... Right? Over all, this place is just average. They have potential to be so much more. Increase your portion sizes or lower your prices. I paid $13 plus a tip and left still a bit hungry (I'm an average guy that usually gets full with your average portion size). Unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back or recommending any friends/family their way unless us customers can get a bigger bang for our buck. read more
