I just ordered the ramen combo 1 (original ramen) and it was unfortunately not very good. The ramen was bland, did not have the taste of the soup on it. I asked for extra spicy but it didn't help. The ramen tasted exactly like an instant ramen noodles. Also, the sushi was not good quality. It was a 4 piece California roll. It was just a very underwhelming experience sadly. This was our first time eating at Love Sushi. I'm not normally over on this side of town, but we had a play to go to at Bakersfield College. Ordered this for lunch the day after Halloween. I ordered through Uber eats, I walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. One thing I did request was extra ginger and they did give me lots of it. Inside is so cute, clean and dim I really liked that. I have been to the market place location which is so great. The Stockdale and California location not so much. The size and price of the miso soup is why I give it a 4 amd not to mention it only comes with two pieces of tofu. read more

I ordered the beef ramen, and to be completely honest it was not much more than an instant ramen. The waiter forgot to bring things and we were constantly having to ask for them to come over. The men's bathroom was locked for some reason so I had to awkwardly use the women's when it was unoccupied. The food is okay at best and it is not worth the money in my opinion read more

Not worth it. Pros: the hot tea and ramen noodles were good. The food came out quick and the waitress was friendly. Cons: the broth was not flavorful, and it was mostly broth in the bowl. I got the seafood ramen, and boy do I feel robbed. You'd think a sushi place would have decent seafood but I got little baby shrimp (you know the cheap ones you can buy in a tin at Walmart or something), some small scallops and a baby crab which had no meat in it. All in all maybe 10 pieces of seafood, which I could live with if they weren't miniatures. Anyway, not worth the money. Won't be back. read more

Was craving sushi all week and decided to order for pick up the Monkey Brain appetizer (fried mushroom with tuna and crab) and Spicy tuna roll. I didn't get a picture of either because I was so hungry and excited for both items! These have been my favorite items at other Love Sushi restaurants and highly recommend the house sauce with the spicy tuna roll! WOW! I was pleasantly surprised by this Love Sushi. I may be mistakenly looping this place in with the others but this place is at the top. Service was good and friendly. The sushi was excellent! All we wanted to do was eat and watch Thursday night football, our usual game watching place was closed, down town was a mess for the Christmas parade and we just happened upon this location. We had the Love Sushi special roll, the Hawaiian roll, temperature California roll, the dragon roll and thai shrimp roll and some temperature veggies. Everything was on poin, fresh and delicious. If you like tuna and spicy tuna the Hawaiian roll is perfect for you. This has to of been the best Hawaiian roll I've had. The tuna sashimi on top was excellent and the spicy tuna in all the rolls was perfect and the right amount of spice. They even gave us this bonus tempura roll that had I think shrimp and crab it was pretty good to. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a great meal! read more
