On top of that, Kira the checker went above and beyond helping my mom. She no longer had the Ace Rewards app on her Samsung phone and wasn't sure how to check for coupons. Kira patiently helped her download the app, get everything set up again, and even found a $5 coupon that my mom was able to use toward the purchase of her screens. It's rare to find this level of friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring customer service. The entire experience was phenomenal from start to finish. This Emigh has become an El Dorado Hill's favorite. Hands down. It is definitely the community store for everyone. The customer service EXCEEDS (yes in caps) any I have received anywhere. You walk in and you, the paying customer, are greeted and asked if you need help. I am still amazed by that. The many times I have come to Emighs for very specific needs 99 percent ends with just the right gadget, advice or information I needed. I would not stand a chance at the big box stores (hello... anyone working here:)) The value of having a store of this quality so close by is priceless. Yes, you may pay a little more here but time is money in my book. A car phone holder? Yes! They had it. And the employee who led me directly to the small cache of choices even installed it in my car!!! Big thank you shout out for that. Speaking of delivery, I don't know how long it's been going on, nor what items qualify, but recently I've discovered that the items I am looking for qualify for free, same day home delivery. I'm embarrassed to admit, I've taken good advantage of that, even though sometimes it's just for a single, small ($10) item. He snapped at us and said that it's not on me to clean up, it's on you. It was an awful experience. The crew left all the blue tape and plastic in the refridgerator and almost didn't complete the dishwasher install until he finally noticed a screw needing to be removed and we saw the door not closeing properly. How is that possible when I put in my home address for delivery, paid for delivery, installation and haul away of old item. Tried calling several times and could not reach anyone at the Folsom store. Finally called the 888 number for customer service. When I explained what happened, I was instructed to "in the future" to cancel the order and place it again and stating to deliver to my home. This is what I did in the first place! Then I was instructed to call back to schedule to have it installed. I informed them I would NOT be purchasing from Lowes in the future, but will go to Home Depot instead, since this has never been an issue with HD. The lack of customer service or support of what should have been a simple transaction to include allowing me to pick a date upon when it can be delivered.
