If I am competing a project, odds are I will visit Emigh more than once to get it done.

This is the closest Harbor Freight to my house. A couple of my neighbors tell me that it's not a…read morevery good store. I disagree. I have found everything I was looking for here in the store. Every time I came here. All three times and and I've not lived in SacTown very long. The customer service here is great. The staff is always friendly and welcomes me in. They answer questions, they provide service. They explain the return policy when there is something other than a normal return. I was looking for a particular item and could not find it. The man took me to where the item was supposed to be. He said that they were out but he would get more from the back. Two minutes later he returned with my item and replenished the empty spot. The store is always neat and clean and the shelves are always neat and well stocked (see above). I go to Harbor Freight to get items at discount prices. I need a couple of blue tarps to protect my lawn when I hug up an area. The tarp was going in to the trash afterward. Why spend $30 at Lowe's when I can spend $7.99 at HF?? This is a great HF stor and I will continue to shop here.

One of the workers that was setting out the flowers at the front of the store showed me where they had the freshest flowers that just came in. She was enthusiastic and provided very good customer service. The garden area wasn't too busy. There was a large variety of plants to choose from - annuals, perennials, trees, etc. I bought a few colorful flowers that were annuals and a tomato plants. Many of the flowers were half off during the sale. Nicely priced. Lowe's had a good selection of plants and flowers compared to HD and Walmart, which I had checked out the prior day. I also bought a garbage disposal online for store pickup from this location, but later that day, they notified me that the garbage disposal was out of stock. I reordered from another store and they shipped it to me for free. Good store for home improvement needs and gardening supplies.

The Lowe's Return process is the worst. Furthermore, they use an AI assistant to take their calls…read moreand it is useless. I purchased a shower head filter online that was advertised as CHROME and received a PLASTIC item instead. It broke during installation of the filter cartridge. So I tried to "Schedule a Return" via FedEx. I printed the label and repackaged the item - then was told to return it to a Fed Ex DROP OFF location 16 miles away. In other words, I scheduled a refund, not a return pickup. I called Customer Care; no help. After waiting 35 minutes (on hold 3 different times during one call) for someone to answer my question, I found myself suddenly transferred to "Curb Side Pickup" - which is to PICK UP orders at Lowe's NOT schedule a curb side pick up from your home. At least with Walmart, when you schedule at FedEx pickup, they pick up the item from your porch. 1) False advertising of a Plastic shower head filter as Chrome. 2) Misrepresentation of scheduling a return via FedEx. You aren't scheduling a PickUp - you are scheduling your Refund amount. Fool me once: I will not be shopping at Lowe's again.
