Every single time I come here, I see the manager or owner either cooking in the kitchen, organizing…read moredrinks or menus, or cleaning the front area. Do you ever meet someone and just know they're a hard-worker? Because I feel like this is the vibe you'll get when you walk here. Aside from feeling like the people here genuinely want to cook YOU a delicious meal, ordering was simple. They have a kiosk or you can order in person. I DO RECOMMEND GOING IN TO ORDER or pickup. They have a combo menu (wings + fries + drink) that I could not find easily on Uber Eats. Every time I order, the same hardworking guy tells me it'll be a wait and asks if that's okay. Of course it's fine with me because they're cooking to order not leaving food out and waiting to put sauce. Alright now the food, it's good fried chicken with sauces that I don't see in other places. I get soy garlic, honey garlic, sweet Korean, and lemon wasabi. Each sauce is unique and some have a different spice, not "hot hot" but lingering sting, which is an odd thing for me to say, but it's good!! Also, taeboki is an AMAZING Korean side, but a fan favorite for me from here. Anyways, this place is by a busy street (Irving Park) but I feel like it's not given the recognition it deserves. Yeah there's other basic chicken wings nearby by this place has unique sauces and Korean favorites. Also, if you're having a party, you can easily order Jet's pizza next door and wings and Korean dishes from here. A great pairing (though I haven't tried that myself).

Wow, juicy, meaty, and cooked to perfection. Not much table room to eat-in, but super friendly owner and even offered us a complimentary beverage. Next time I would like to try some of the more traditional Korean dishes, as I will definitely be back!

At noon, they unlocked the door, no hello or greeting - just straight behind the counter and to the kitchen for us to order at the screen in the front. The screen was filthy (they just opened as a reminder) we couldn't tell what was in the 'combo' and then when we were going to order the boneless chicken wings, as they were gluten free when we ordered them years ago, I asked one of the women in the kitchen to confirm. She said no, I don't think so. And walked away without any further guidance for what I might be able to eat on their menu. It's not a preference, it's a dietary restriction - so we walked out from there. They clearly had no interest in helping me or our business. A real disappointment after driving 30 minutes out of our way to try and enjoy it.

My son and his girlfriend have been there many times, and insisted we get the whipped ricotta appetizer and kale salad. Both of these items were top notch, as were the cocktails and we enjoyed. The pasta bolognese that the ladies ordered was delicious. My son had the burger and fries, and it was fine, just not very special. I ordered the "half" chicken, thinking as a bird themed restaurant, the only poultry entree would be a star, but that was not the case. A small thigh and half of a breast was their interpretation of a half chicken, and this was noted on the menu, but the portion was disappointing. The dish was supposed to to be accompanied by polenta with trumpet mushrooms, but two paltry slices of mushroom with a small smear of polenta completed the dish which "artfully" only occupied the left half of the plate, leaving the rest of the plate bare. Small portions aside, the dish was overly salty, to the point I had dry mouth the rest of the night, and the chicken was overcooked. The taste was fine, and the little bit of polenta added enough moisture to make the dish work. The worst thing was the incredibly dull dinner knife that couldn't cut through the mushroom, let alone the chicken, causing me to apply the stab and pull/tear method to get bite sized pieces. Everything thing else was superb. I would go back for the cocktails and appetizers, perhaps grazing the appetizers and a salad as a dinner. The pastas all looked terrific, but I will probably steer clear of the four mains on the menu, as they seem to be the least inspired items to order.

This was my second time trying Cluck'n Wings, a newer spot in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I love…read morewings, and since they serve halal food, I wanted to check them out. I'm not halal myself, but I appreciate supporting diverse dining options. Ordering online was easy though pricy--my four buffalo wings with ranch were ready in 15 minutes and were just over $12 (before tip). Pickup was simple, the staff were friendly, and I even got a bonus fifth wing. There were a few tables inside, but I chose takeout. The wings were jumbo and meaty, but the heavy breading and sauciness made them soggy rather than crispy--just not my preference. If you like thick, saucy breading, you might enjoy them. The first time I placed a takeout order, I unfortunately got sick afterward. The owner reached out and genuinely wanted to make things right, which I appreciated. That's why I decided to give them another chance on my own time and dime and order the same exact meal--I believe a business should be judged by how it handles situations, not just by one-off issues, which can happen anywhere. This time, I didn't get sick! While the wings weren't my style, Cluck'n Wings has friendly service, easy ordering, and fills a niche. If you're looking for halal wings with a saucier, breaded style, it's worth a try.
