Whipped Ricotta. $13.50. House-made ricotta, clover honey, balsamic reduction, toasted baguette.

Our group of five had dinner at The Warbler and really enjoyed it. The food, drink, and service were great. I recommend this place. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who used to live in the neighborhood, Lincoln Square. It's one of his favorite restaurants in Chicago and we dined here with him. Reservations: This place is popular so definitely make a reservation. The Warbler is on Resy, which is notable for those with the American Express Platinum Card ($100 per quarter Resy credit). Parking: We parked in the adjacent pay lot. It's convenient and had plenty of open spaces during our visit just before 8:00 PM on a Thursday night. Atmosphere: It was uncomfortably warm inside. The dining room and enclosed outdoor patio were packed. We sat in a U-shaped booth next to the semi-open kitchen, which was cool. The vibe is casual; it definitely has the feel of a local neighborhood joint. Food and Drink: The five of us shared apps and veggies and each got our own drinks and entrees. Here's what my wife and I tried: Cocktails * Rose Bill ($13.50) - gin, grapefruit liqueur, cherry syrup, fresh lemon, topped with sparkling rose Draft Beer * German Pilsner ($7) - Krombacher, 4.8% ABV Appetizers * Whipped Ricotta ($13.50) - house-made ricotta, clover honey, balsamic reduction, toasted baguette * Chicken Wings ($14.50) - Korean style, tamari glaze, fresh lime, sesame seeds, cilantro * Tartine ($14) - chicken liver mousse, toasted sourdough, Granny Smith apple, bacon jam, frisee, hazelnut crunch, chives Vegetables * Char-Roasted Broccoli ($14) - chili crisp, honey-tahini puree, sesame tuile, lemon, fresh mint, black currant Flatbread * Fig & Salami ($19) - Calabrese salami, whipped ricotta, fig jam, pomodoro sauce, hot honey drizzle, red chili flakes, oregano Pasta * Whole Wheat Bucatini ($18.50) - cacio e pepe, Grana Padano, pecorino, black pepper, olive oil Everything was terrific. The Krombacher was cold and refreshing. The apps and veggies outshined the entrees. The standout dish, believe it or not, was the Char-Roasted Broccoli. It was probably the best restaurant broccoli I've had anywhere in decades of dining out. Service: Our server was Luke R and he was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and polite. We ran 15-30 minutes late to our reservation. We called and let the staff know. They were nice about it and held our table for us. Thank you.

I've been coming to The Warbler for a long time, and while the atmosphere is still inviting and the staff is incredible, the kitchen's execution has fallen off just a bit lately. The Service: I cannot overstate how great the service is here--it is truly exceptional and top-tier. The hospitality remains the absolute highlight of the experience and is some of the best you'll find in Chicago. The Food: The Cheeseburger: This was actually very good. It was a very tasty, above-average burger and I have no complaints there at all. Korean Wings: At one point, I said these were the best wings in the city. I don't stand by that anymore; they're still tasty, but they've lost that "best in class" spark. The Chicken, Mushroom & Polenta: This was the signature dish at their sister restaurant, Gather, which closed a few years ago. Compared to the version at Gather, this was a letdown. It was under-salted, the fried pieces were over-fried, the roasted portion was dry, and the polenta lacked the creaminess it used to have. Carrot Cake: The carrot cake with praline ice cream is tasty, but is reminiscent of a microwaved Mug cake. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. The balance of flavor is nice and I appreciated the salt to balance the sweetness. Overall: It's still a nice vibe and the service is truly world-class, but the food used to be more consistent across the board. I'll be back for that burger and the great hospitality, but I'm hoping the rest of the menu returns to its former glory. 3.49 stars

Had a wonderful meal on the heated patio, we were able to get a seat without reservations at around 5pm. The food was amazing, we ordered the steamed Thai mussels, chicken wings, and crispy cauliflower. The Thai mussels had an amazing spicy broth, we even used it to dip our fries and cauliflower in. I would definitely recommend! The crispy cauliflower was perfect and full of flavor, the wings were also very delicious. The service was fast and our server was very nice and gave me an amazing cocktail she recommended.

Good neighborhood restaurant!! They have a nice variety of dishes. My favorite was the mushroom soup! A lot of things were good but something slightly off. We felt like the carrots and broccoli needed a bit more acidity, and the wings were a bit too limey. But both pastas were cooked perfectly! I like the ambiance of the space for a nice neighborhood spot.

First timer! . We had a huge late breakfast earlier so I ordered an appetizer- Nachos that consisted of roasted pork, tomatillo salsa, lime crème, sambal, and black beans My brother had the Mediterranean Muhammara and Roger had the Bacon & Date Flatbread The Nachos were delicious and fresh. The pork was tender and delicious. My brother & Roger have eaten here several times. I had a slice of the flatbread and let me say the bread alone was delicious! It's baked fresh every day. Just a hint of honey and red pepper flakes The Mediterranean dish was made to order. All the veggies were fresh. This is a vegetarian dish The service was great! We had reservations for 8:30. Upon arrival we were told they could seat us early. We arrived at 8 so it worked out We were seated in a cozy corner. The only issue was that it was too dark. I looked around and the light was out. I informed our server and she then told her manager. He walked through but didn't say anything. She then came back to say they're working on it. The manager suggested we could move to another table. We declined since we were already seated and ordered and I was eating the appetizer So if you're wondering why the pictures are dark it's due to the lighting issue I will dine in again Thanks!

Absolutely loved this place!! Stopped in for a quick dinner after being at an event in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Our server was so incredibly friendly and helpful when making decisions. We tried a few cocktails, which were so unique and delicious. For dinner, we split the bacon and date flatbread that was a perfect mixture of savory and sweet, and the pesto cavatelli, which is every pesto lovers dream. We topped off our carbs with a side of the charred green beans, which were a delightful compliment. I will definitely be going back if I'm in the area!

They have a great patio for outdoor seating. The inside is super nice as well. All I could think when I think about this dinner was everything was so FRESH!  Our standouts for our meal: the mussels, the tempura ribs, and salmon There are so many mussels that come in the dish that it was perfect for the three of us dinning. I highly recommend getting extra bread on the side because the bread is essential for soaking up all the delicious saucy goodness.  The tempura ribs were perfectly cooked and mely in your mouth with a delicious sauce. We really appreciated the freshness to the sauce of the salmon as well. Outside of our three standouts we also got the pork shoulder which was super juicy and fall off the bone, the papperdelle which is house fresh made and fantastic, and a big salad which had a perfect amount of greens + add ons in each bite. Drinks: The Regal Eagle was the standout for us  Our server was so friendly and always made it a point to take the time to checkin and chat regardless of how busy he was.  It'd love to come back and try their lunch menu or their supper club! The supper club deal seems highly worth it.

Came here for my birthday Eve dinner. I'm new to the area and wanted Cacio e Pepe and upon searching for places to serve it, this place was mentioned. It's a hike for us as we are in Hyde Park but it was worth it. For one , it's not just kid friendly, but when we arrived (reservationless) they had no issues with our kid sitting at the bar. They were beyond kid friendly in my opinion. The seats were comfortable. The staff were so kind. The waitresses at the bar were so attentive. Our food came out pretty quickly. And I very much enjoyed my pasta and glass of rosé! I don't always get to enjoy whole wheat pasta. I really liked the flavor and texture. I enjoyed the cheese sauce and could taste the pepper nicely. I was glad to take home leftovers. Can't wait to eat for lunch. My husband got the burger. He thought it was great. He didn't think it was very greasy and he felt happily satiated. The music isn't as loud as other restaurants and the bathrooms are nice too. I hope to come back.

We had a concert at the Old Town Music. This was very convenient and it was our first time. We ordered to share Kale Salad, crispy cauliflower and half a chicken. The salad was very nice and fresh. The Mac nut butter and Mac nuts in the salad added a nice touch. The cauliflower was awesome. The chicken was done 2 ways. Thighs were fried and breast was sous vide. It was both delicious and moist. Sachi ( our server) was almost as well as the assistants. Water was always refilled and tables cleaned promptly. Will be back and try other items.

Very dark here. Difficult to read menus Fresher is way too sweet it gives me diabetes Tempura rib is pretty good. Really crispy outside layer with sweet spicy sauce. Just not cooked long enough that it will fall off easily. Which means a really messy meal to eat in this dining venue. Not recommended if you're on first date Gochujang Korean pork shoulder is pretty juicy and chewy but it has nothing to do with gochujang. Can't taste at all. Cheese burger is one of the boringest cheese burger I've ever had. Fries really crispy though

Easily the best burger in the neighborhood! The beer selection could be better, as they're few and don't rotate often. The cocktails are also good, but I'd like to see some new ones from time to time.

Think we found our new neighborhood spot! Super reasonable prices and lots of delicious food to choose from. Service was great and the space is casual but cute. We got the chicken wings and the artichoke to start then the salmon and the fusilli as our mains. Everything ranged from good to great with the artichoke surprisingly the standout. Then we were super full so naturally got a skillet cookie to split. Which was everything. Excited to come back and try more of the veggies.

Nice restaurant in the Lincoln Park area. I sat at the bar for a late afternoon snack. The dining room was closed at the time but patio seating was available too. The staff was very friendly and the man running the bar provided great service. I ordered a mushroom flat bread with truffle. A staff person was about to deliver it to a group who had ordered after me but the man running the bar deftly intercepted him and redirected the flatbread to me (good for me and for the large group since all their food arrived shortly after at the same moment). The flatbread was delicious. Hot, cheesy and flavorful. It was a good choice. Drinks also looked great. I will definitely be back when I have time for a full meal.

Is it necessary to have a reservation here in order to be seated (say, on a Saturday night)?

The pizza was so delicious that I couldn't give up on the pizza shop. During my recent order I tried the sweet chili wings and it was unbelievable. The wings had a crisp to them but the sweet chili sauce had a nice kick to them. Like many places it's not a full wing but split in half so keep that in mind. It's still a good amount of food. I normally order the tavern style pizza and Tortorice's does not hold back on toppings. Each slice is jam packed with toppings. Everything tastes fresh and high quality. One thing to note is I ordered my food for a specific pick up time but ended up having to wait additional time for the rest of my order to be ready. I know the food is worth the wait so I don't mind but giving a heads up so you don't come starving and expect to get your food right away. It's happened the last few visits. The location is located conveniently on Irving Park so it's easy to find. Parking might be an issue if you drive.

Walk back to the counter and order your food and pay for it up front before you dined in.... The prices have skyrocketed drastically.... 5 wing dings are $10... which by the way are still good but really the price really? Then 5 mozzarella sticks are $12 which need seasoning in the breading and tasted a bit bland. The pizza was still pretty good but the price increase was ridiculous. They no longer have fountain drink or offer water or ice, everything was in a can which the can pops were $2 and some change. The total came to $95 for a party of two. The tables were close to one another with minimal privacy or space. And the staff did a drive by check in to see if things were okay. We asked if they had courtesy cups of water and were told we'd get a courtesy bottle water but they never came back. The prices increased but the portions and taste decreased and the customer service was horrible. I will not he going back anytime soon.
