I never spend more than 1 1/2 hours on pedi and a gel Mani with design -- make sure to tip well! They take card but there is always a fee. I needed to find someone locally, because I'm used to getting my nails done in the city. So, I was trusting the reviews and went with it. I met "Hao" not too sure if I spelled her name right, but she did an amazing job on both my nails and feet. The service took about 2 hours in total, but it was worth. The gel so far has lasted almost a month, and it's just now starting to chip and peel. I'm definitely coming back, as a matter of fact I just booked an appointment for tomorrow at 12:00. Tried making an appointment but was told to just walk in and wait. Waited. My sister ended up getting the older gentleman who did a poor job of cleaning, slapped her legs and called that a massage, and the nail paint looked like something I would do at home. The younger guy did my nails and was off to a great start but started rushing when his other customer came in. He didn't clean or even out my nail bed. It seems they prioritize customers who are doing acrylics and more expensive services. The older woman was talking out loud the entire time so it was hard to feel relaxed. I'd rather pay more and have great service and nails than be rushed and have a mid job done. Will not be going back read more

loved this place! it was my first time coming here and I just wanted a simple manicure. one of the few places with a great deal for just manicure ($12 +tip) and I would 100% come back. I have been going to this nail salon for the past five years since they opened this location on E Tremont Avenue Their prices are amazing and fair. The service is excellent, even if they were to increase prices I would still come here. I've brought friends, my mom, aunts and sisters no complaints they are now regulars also. I enjoy going every two to two and a half weeks. However with the quality of their products and techniques I can go closer to a month with out having to do my nails. where do I begin. come and my friend we're looking for a place open on sunday to get a gel manicure. we called ahead and this place was a fair $22, we asked if we could make an appointment they said just walk in well we walked in at 3:45 and the place was totally occupied. but only two people waiting so we had a seat and looked at colors..... then an hour passes by.... and FINALLY someone approached my friend saying they were ready for her. I remained waiting. and waiting. and waiting. and someone finally finished up a client and i'm like ok i'm up- but no then some random dude walked into the shop and a lady inside told the tech "he needs a manicure" and the tech just did this guys nails. never mind me just waiting over an hour or anything. then literally what ends up happening is my friend had her nails totally finished and then her lady was the one who did mine. who does that? we just had to watch each other get our nails done? this whole thing was bullshit. why from the start did the lady on the phone not tell us the extent of the wait? or at any point while we were sitting? my nails ended up being done quickly. half the place when I was leaving was the same people still getting their nails done as when I walked in?? would not recommend and would not return. bad service. not clean either. at least I like my actual nails, but not worth --update 2 weeks later and I will say my polish is perfect. so while the service is ass the end product is pretty great read more

I think the technicians are so unaccustomed to doing regular nails that they've forgotten what to do or how to handle them. If you're in the market for gel, acrylic, tips, etc. I think you'll be pleased. If you just need a regular manicure, I would only recommend them if you were in a pinch with no alternatives. Maybe I got the walk in special idk I tried to get her to fix the coffin shape she attempted to make but I had already been sitting there too long, and had to leave. Awful. The nail salon that I was going to for years closed suddenly and I was devastated! I've been on a hunt for the perfect place in the Bronx and found a few spots that happened to be closed on Sundays. Definitely not a good thing since Sundays are usually the only day I have for my nails. Then I happened to find this one and had John do my nails. He was very meticulous and kept checking with me to see if I was pleased the entire process. Mind you, I only got a gel manicure. Looking forward to going back for a pedi too. I was faithful to them for years but that doesn't matter to them. I decided I wanted someone else within the nail salon to do my nails and I was ostracized! So when I went back, I was treated with indifference and no one was wanted to do my nails, not that day or the day after or the day after that. As a a paying customer, I'm not obligated to stay with one person and have the right to choose who I want to do my nails since I'm paying but that doesn't matter to them; neither does the years of going nor all the customers that I have sent their way! Ever since son left to his country this place has gone downhill, you go in and say good morning they look at u like if you're an alien not only they're rude, they leave u waiting for hours! And don't tell u anything. I had enough of this place when she push me to a new girl to do my nails knowing that I'm very picky, then she said "she's also very good like us" yea right that women left my nails very weak they started breaking the second day. I went back and Thao didn't even apologized. They won't see me going there anymore I found a better place now. Good luck Thao! I've known Thao for many years, and just about every female in my family goes to her. She does an amazing job, and she's always so sweet. Whenever I go to get my nails done she asks about my family and remembers everyone. She always does my nails exactly how I want them, and she's honest when it comes to certain polishes and colors. She will tell you if it will last and recommend colors that would look nice on you. (Let's face it, just like with hair, not everything looks right on everyone.) I hadn't been to her in such a long time because she's a bit far from me, but after a bad experience at 2 other salons I decided to return. She removed whatever garbage they did and started from scratch and I couldn't be happier. I've also had pedicures done by her in the past, and I know she does a great job. I don't really know the other manicurists there so I can't speak about them, but they all seem very friendly. I love Thao and will not be trusting my nails to anyone else anymore. read more
