I would recommend you turn yourself around get back in your car and go across the street to A+ nails because this location will not only disappoint you, but it will leave you feeling very upset because not only do they do a horrible job, but they talk bad about you as they're doing the job. They're more focused on getting people to upgrade their services when they can't even do a good job for the basic service. Every time I have, I'm there I feel uncomfortable because I know that they're talking about me for not wanting to upgrade, but not all of us can afford the ridiculous upgrade that at the end aren't even worth it. Talk about starting strong and going downhill... My girlfriend and I decided to get our nails done after I had finished up getting my eyebrows done from around the corner. We each got a gel mani/pedi done. Things were great, the place was clean, people were nice, it was inviting and even had a little painted wall that was nice for IG pictures. And then the slow decline. The nail polish selection wasn't great. The women working on my hands was so harsh with the cuticle cutting that she made me bleed not once, but TWICE. BLEED. It was painful and I'm sitting in my chair cringing. For how much of my cuticles she had cut off, she didn't even paint the nail fully so it looked like it had grown out and it's only been a day. I had asked the lady who had done my feet to use white and she ended up using this off-white color that even with 3 coats was still sheer and it looked pink, not white. After speaking up, the last layer was finally an actual white color. How thick was she trying to have the polish on my toes? On top of that she ended up putting lotion on my legs and never on my actual feet that were soaking and she was spritzing with alcohol. As for my girlfriend, her nails weren't even filed evenly. After returning from Japan, I was inspired by the modern nail art I saw there and wanted to find a local salon to recreate those designs. My usual spot in Reseda was closed for the holidays until January 21, so I decided to look online for another option. I ended up at Kim's Nails Salon near my home, not expecting much--just a simple and plain fill. To my surprise, when I showed Kim, the nail technician, a picture of the design I wanted, she confidently said she could recreate it. I was shocked and thrilled when she delivered work that looked exactly like the picture! Her attention to detail and precision blew me away, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Even better, when one of the stones fell off the next day, Kim fixed it for free, which speaks volumes about her customer service. The salon itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. Kim is very friendly, experienced, and clearly passionate about her work. I also appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment without any wait. Went here with my husband to get pedicures. He got just a basic $25 pedicure while I got the $35 one. The lady doing my toes did not clean under my toe nails and only pushed back my cuticles on one foot and forgot the other also I did not receive any type of massage or lotion on my feet while my husband received all of these. Just because I choose to get polish on my toes does not mean you need to cut corners to make my the service quicker. I payed extra to get extra ! I was also sliced a few times with the edges of the nail file. This was very painful. They also kept asking how much we were going to tip. I did not feel the service was tip worthy as I did pay for extras I did not receive. I will never go here again. And neither will my family & friends. read more

I fully regret getting my nails done here. I usually do my own nails, nothing crazy, just simple gel or gel extensions at home. I might not be a professional but I am definitely not uneducated when it comes to the nail world. Let me start out with this. I had gotten a pedicure done here a few years back for my wedding and my mom has gotten a pedicure here two or three times over the years. I had an international wedding so I figured it would be better to get my nails done instead of doing it myself. The pedicure: Usually their pedicures are great but this time it felt really rushed. I didn't feel like I got the same treatment other women were getting and it just seemed a little off. There was very little cuticle care and i didn't get the scrub or mask like other women. It was a bit sloppy as it was on my skin. My gel pedicure has lasted a week so far so I guess it's good. The manicure: I needed to get a French tip for the wedding as I was a brides maid. My nails were long except for two that were short. I went in really wanting a gel overlay with two extensions. I've only had one other manicure done in my life and it was acrylic. I absolutely hated acrylic and explained that to her before we started. Maybe it was a language barrier but I thought she had agreed. We sat down and she took out the acrylic powder. I told her reminded her I wanted to keep my length and it just be a natural overlay. She said she can't do extensions or the overlay with gel so that's why she's going acrylic. Okay fine. I agreed to the acrylic which is my fault. I should have just walked away but I trusted it. She used a sanding band on my natural nail with no cuticle work. I thought maybe since this is my second time I just need to trust the process. The acrylic application started out great and she did a gel French on top but when I got home I saw all the mistakes you couldn't see in the salon lighting. The French was sloppy and my nails were not even. I was flying out the next morning so I couldn't go back to have it fixed. It would be fine for the pictures and I can just get it fixed when I get back. While I was on the plane some of my nails felt sensitive and but again I figured I just don't know enough since it's my second professional manicure. There was a lot of lifting especially around my cuticles while I was overseas. I was going to go back for removal but with the damage that's been done and the pain I was in I just cut my nails off and used my nail drill to file down what I could. My nails are thin in the spots where there were lifting and it's going to take months to get them back to a healthy state. I am the type of person who oils my nails every day and tries to take good care of them. The state they are in now just makes me want to cry so much. She seemed shocked when I left a 20% tip which made me feel like I was either not tipping enough or she thought I was too broke to tip to begin with. I think if you've had experience getting your nails done at a salon you will be fine going here. But if you are new to having them done please find another salon. This was definitely not with the $100 I paid for. read more

Vietnamese Customer who understands Vietnamese. This was the 2nd time coming to this nail salon. 1st time was ok, not horrible, so I thought I'd try it out again since I was in the area. I got the Deluxe Gel Pedicure - $70. An advice to the establishment. Please wait to critic the tip you get after the customer leaves and don't be so rude about it. After walking out, I looked down and noticed that my gel pedicure didn't cure correctly and was lifting. I walked back in right away and asked to have it fix. The staff member sitting next to the woman fixing my nail commented that the $15 tip I gave was too low and she rather deal with the lady she was working on rather than someone like me. It was rather condescending but this was said in Vietnamese and not English so I'm sure she didn't think much of it. Nevertheless, it was rude and dissapointing. Also note: upon arriving the male staff member was also saying rude things about his client. Towards the end he was also unhappy with his tip and commented on how low tippers carry themselves differently from large tippers. Save your money! I got an acrylic and gel manicure with the foot scrub pedicure. The pedicure felt amazing and my feet felt very clean and soft afterwards, the foot scrubbed smelled amazing like tangerine. I've been here a few times maybe 3-5 times & each time I have the same shitty experience. I walk in , get stares by the workers , I never get checked in or asked what service I need. I'm sitting there waiting for 5-15 min and nothing is ever said to me until I get up and leave. They definitely need to improve on customer service because it's the sameeee treatment everytime. So unhappy with the service I received. The lady that did my nails was supposed to do French tip and did them completely crooked. She got angry when I asked her to make them even as I'm paying 100$ for quality. She ended up taking the entire white off and didn't paint both hands the same color. Saw one of the employees was rude and always see them playing scratcher and complain to cashier at the grocery to hurry to give money and dont wait in line. One of them keeps hitting the cashier with their scratcher apparently they are regular and do it all the time. They maybe nice at work but not in other business as customer. But only the two of the employees. I NEVER go to nail salons anymore i only go to my one girl who works out of home but here i was trying to do something different i came for a pedi. The lady doing it will ask you 200 things very quietly to the point u dont understand her and you end up with a 65$ pedicure because she put some bath salts in the water. I caved in and got a gel manicure for the first time in years and the color i picked was so cure however 6 days after it all started coming off. If i had the choice to put 0 stars I would. I had taken my daughter to get a full set for a family event. She was asked to chose a color for her nails and the lady ended up using another color on her nails. Not only did she use her choice of color but she was very rough while filling the nails and after buffing so hard to the point she even got a cut on her finger. She was looking at my daughter really weird like being judgmental. I was so confused because she was filling upwards on her nails to the point the nail was hurting. She didn't even size the tips correctly. This is the first and last time i will ever bring my daughter to get her nails done at this place. I don't recommend coming to this place. they don't know what their doing. Thank goodness i didn't get my nails done at this place. unfortunately my daughter had a horrible experience.
