There aren't many cat groomers out there that have the skill and patience to deal with long-haired cats. Sure, they will buzz them, but not all owners want that - my request was to clean him up, but keep his long hair on top and overall look, he is a floofy ragdoll after all.. This is who you call for senior cats!! Ask for Sami!!! I found golden paws on yelp after two other mobile groomers turned us away. My cat is 17 years old and disabled and unable to clean herself well anymore, and this was gonna be traumatic for both of us. Janet didn't hesitate in taking us on and she clearly sent the expert. After getting groomed by Sami my ripley is a new girl! She has a new spring in her step!!! She wasnt stressed at all and i think she loved the attention that was being showered on her. I think I was an unfortunate one who had a less than ideal first time with them. The two big cons for me 1. I requested a quote for a full bath and haircut and I was quoted $120 for my golden retriever. That felt low and it was lower than the website had, but I confirmed appt time and date and booked with them. Gut feeling told me to double check and I was correct, I was re - quoted for $170-175. I should have cancelled but I continued with the appt. Due to the great reviews. 2. Day of appt arrives and I was told 11-1130, it's now 1145 and I don't hear from them or see them arriving. I call and I'm told they will reach out and I will get a call back. 10min or so pass and I get a text, they will arrive between 12-1230 now. My problem is, this is my first time with the company, I feel dismissed since the first quote when I was lied too and then when they were late and I was never offered anything, just an apology in a text. I understand things happen and people are late. However, as a new client, something else should have been done. My dog did have a good bath and looked good, but a heads up, no nail grinding included in this cost. read more

Super happy with the service. I had contacted Janet via her website and she got back to me quickly & was quoted $115-$120 for the haircut & bath. I had inquired about dematting services and she asked to send pictures of my dog so she could make a recommendation. She recommended starting fresh based on the pictures I sent and gave me a great explanation on why dematting would not be ideal. I called Janet to schedule Popeye for the bath & haircut. She had availability for the following day or following week. I had thought I scheduled for Tuesday at 8am (arrival between 8-8:30am). On Monday morning, I was surprised when two woman rang the doorbell at 8:30 for Popeye. I thought I had completely forgot but my husband reminded me that I said Tuesday. At least I was home and I was available so it didn't make a difference for me. Next time, I'll make sure to make the appointment via text so there's no confusion. I took Popeye out to the van and was able to see the whole setup. Pretty cool! Popeye was ready in about 1.5 hrs. He looked so good and he came back with a super snazzy Christmas bow tie ! Payment was easy (I used venmo). Overall, a great experience (minus the day mixup). Recommend! read more
