I went in recently to check out the refreshed interior as the place is under new management. I really liked the new floors, decorations and upbeat vibe. Since this place is a part of the Brown Field Airport terminal, there are some awesome windows where you can watch the airplanes. I also really enjoyed sitting in the outdoor patio seating area. There's a juke box and some pool tables too! Parking was no problem and the location is very handy for people in the area, especially if you're going to the airport (duh), CBX or the Otay Port of Entry. This place has a legit "locals" feel and is worth checking out.

Love this place great food and great vibes!!! Provides the best cold drinks and food options after work

$12 beer buckets - good place to stop by after work to just hang out with co-workers to close the work day. I think their modo is be rude to the customer. They do it consistently so I think everyone just goes with the flow. Their buffalo wing is good and their chili chips are 80% chips and 20% chili - in another words not enough chili for the amount of chips. Also another trick I learned here is eat potato chips with hot sauce is very good. P.S. they have Karaoke as well as the dance floor. Get your singing and move on - if you are in the area. It's not one of those place you come looking for it. But if you are in the area and need to wind down - Great place.

A really nice cafe with good food. Several coworkers and I stopped in for breakfast one morning to give it a try. The place reminded me of a workplace breakroom that serves good food. The lady serving us was friendly, quick, and efficient. The prices are really good for what you get. We each got different breakfast items and we all enjoyed them. It is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Only downside if you are not familiar with the area is the freeway construction moving the roads all around.

Very casual airport diner, but they clearly care about the food. Burgers were a full half-pound, served with all the fixin's on a buttered-and-toasted bun. A great place to fly in for a hundred-dollar hamburger, or drive to if you're in the area and looking for a cafe. The ladies room looked much better than the last reviewer's experience.

It is located inside the Growler Sports Bar, close to the lobby. The host at Growler showed us the entrance, and since we arrived right at opening time, we were able to choose any seating we liked. They have a great cocktail menu. I tried the Brunch Bootleg and the Pink Lady, and both were delicious. What I also loved is that they can create off menu cocktails based on your preferred flavor profile, making the experience feel even more personalized. They also have a few off list draft beer options for only $10. After dinner at one of the hotel restaurants, we headed over to C&C at about 9:20pm. We looked for the "special door". We found it, approached, and walked through two doors and entered C&C. The lights were dimmed to add to the ambiance. At first glance the decor was nice and the vibe was chill. We spotted two vacant tables and a row of vacant seats and tables against the back wall. Just as we were about to seat ourselves we were approached by a lady with a name badge. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. She went on to ask us to exit C&C and wait outside for her to come and get us. We were basically being kicked out. WTF? There were vacant tables, so what was the issue? We were dressed nice as we just came from dinner, while others were dressed in t-shirts and shorts. We were taken aback, and we walked out questioning what had just happened. As we were standing outside she came out and handed us a couple of menus and she went back inside. Just then, a group of three exited and approached us and jokingly said that we could go inside. Then they said, "I can't believe she kicked you guys out, what the hell? There were tables open, what's her problem. I was shocked!" It was clear that what had just happened was not right. Not just in our opinion, but to others as well. Still don't know what the issue was. There were no signs outside to indicate that we were to wait. No one outside to guide guests. There were some velvet ropes, but they had been pushed completely to the side. I didn't want to be upset, but those three guests that spoke to us solidified our feelings. The lady came back out to tell us that we could now go inside. We were the only two people standing outside waiting. I decided to hand her the menus, said we were good, and we left to go grab a drink at the lobby bar. Not sure what the issue was but it was handled poorly. If there was some type of protocol to follow and it failed, she should have seated us, rather than kick us out, and then step back into the flow of things. Wish I could give this place a higher rating. Maybe we'll try again in the future.

She recommended a milk punch cocktail that incorporated Sotol, which is kind of like tequila but instead of fermenting agave, it ferments Dasylirion and is made only in Chihuahua. Then she recommended a cocktail that leverages a Mexican produced corn liquor in a Negroni but with gin subbed with mezcal. Both of these cocktails are bartenders choice and not on the menu, but the fact that they can execute such innovative cocktails so we'll speaks to the level of dedication bartenders at this bar have. Renee even gave pointers as to where I might be able to buy some of the bottles they use and for a few other bars of similar caliber to visit nearby. Parking is a nightmare good luck finding parking within a mile of the restaurant. Pros: atmosphere, drinks, service Cons: food wasn't great for the price, restaurant was small and crowded, no parking Service: All of our servers were friendly and very accommodating. Gave us some knowledge on the menu and recommended cocktails based on our preference. I had spilled my drink and they were quick to make me another one. Food: I had intended to get the prime ribeye cap steak but they ran out for the night around 8pm. I shared the steak sampler which came with four different cuts of steak and 4 sauces. I ordered medium and it was cooked medium/medium rare which was fine with me, it also had a good sear, almost burnt though. Out of the four steaks, we only liked two based off flavor and tenderness. The other two were more tough and gamey. None of the sauces really stood out but the bordelaise and horseradish were good. For our sides we got fries, roasted broccoli, and the grilled wedge salad. Fries were average. The roasted broccoli had really good flavor, I expected the broccoli to be al dente but it was cooked to mush and drenched in sauce. The grilled wedge salad was decent, there was a slightly bitter taste to it. I know it says grilled wedge but the experience of biting into the salad and it being both hot and cold was not pleasant. Cocktails: I tried the Honey Ryder and New Wave. These were recommended as the more fruity/sweet cocktails. You can definitely taste the alcohol but it's only 2oz so it's not too strong. Ambience: 10/10 I got seated downstairs by the bar. Only thing about downstairs is that it's too dark to take photos unless you use flash. Overall, I agree with the other reviews saying to go just for drinks and appetizers. I would go again just to sit upstairs and get drinks and take pictures. We left unsatisfied and ended up getting in-n-out after.
