With that being said, it's been almost two years since I've had my hair trimmed. I've been eyeing this business for some time (like the whole time I haven't had my hair cut). I decided to finally give it a shot because the last time no new clients were being accepted this time around, it was, though. I reached out through Yelp and received a text very quickly from Ashley. We had such an amazing first chat or consultation. I sent her pictures of my hair so she could see the length and style. I never really know whether to say my hair is wavy or curly. She recommended a curl creme via text. I went and purchased yesterday, so we will see how that goes. But when I finally got to meet her, AMAZING . I asked if I could bring a friend who's like a sister to me and she agreed. Ashley is such an amazingg soul, so easy to talk too..and man her scalp massage is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was sooo relaxed after that she has such amazing hands. I waited til after my blowout to leave a review. I just love it. The curls I have are more defined, and you can just tell she loves what she does. I'll be referring anyone and everyone who I hear needs a haircut.

No extra charge, no weirdness.. she just wanted me to feel good about my hair. She tweaked the cut, softened things up, and now I genuinely love it. It feels lighter, looks better, and I look 10 years younger. Not every stylist handles that kind of situation well, and she totally did. I'd go back to her again without hesitation.

A week before the appointment I confirmed the appointment online and via text directly to the stylist. She asked if i had any inspo pics and I said I would look for one before the appointment. The night before my appointment, after not hearing from Chloe for a week, i got a threatening message basically telling me that because i have been unresponsive to multiple attempts to connect, if i didn't respond immediately my appointment would be given to someone else who has requested that time. I want to be very clear that I never missed a text from her and sent her screen shots and asked her what messages i missed, to which she back tracked and started saying that she was just nervous because people cancel a lot. The stylist and/or salon never communicated that inspiration pics were a requirements of booking the appointment. The stylist never followed up post confirming the appointment, not once. The stylist was really unprofessional in the way she engaged me, and end of day I told her to go ahead and give the appointment to someone else, I'll spend my money at a professional establishment. Really disappointing given i've been waiting for this appointment.
