This place was incredible. There were a ton of people in line when I got there and I thought "Oh great, I'm going to be here for an hour" but low and behold it was my turn within 10 minutes and I was completely and utterly unprepared. After asking for some suggestions and sampling a few flavors I picked mine out and moved on. The shop itself is great. Lots of inside seating, vibrant colors, an overall great space. They have a HUGE selection of flavors from hard working cows. They also have a good selection of low sugar flavors for those who need to reduce their sugar intake. My overall favorite flavor is Sea Salt Carmel. It is sinfully delicious. read more

Tons of flavors an flora of different cone, shake and Sunday options! My cousin lives in the Ruskin area and took us as a treat. She told me that you can get one scoop with 2 different flavors. Their "half" scoops are the size of a regular scoop, so I'm glad I only got one with two different flavors. For two cups and a cone, it was only $12, which is very cheap for the value compared to every other ice cream shop I've been to. read more

For this trip we decided to try the orange and root beer floats and a few milk shakes. Wow that orange sherbet float was delicious. I did finally turn in my last buy 9 get 1 card so the new cards are buy 11 get 1 free! Guess this old promo was catching up and they needed to slow it down on the freebies..Still the best selection and variety in hard ice cream and shakes. We enjoy the spacious seating area and friendly staff that makes his place feel like home. Oh doesn't hurt that my daughter has also spotted the Swifts on occasion either lol. read more

Nice ice cream shop in the corner of a large size strip mall area. We went here for some tasty cold treats and I try to avoid ice cream and go more for sherbet, yogurt, and sorbet type frozen treats, but alas their selection of these was very slim. I think water melon and peach was it. But they did have about 30 other flavors of ice cream. So I went with a peanut butter and chocolate mix, which tasted great, as I love peanut butter flavored treats, ha. They did not have a selection of candy or sweets like we thought they would, just the cold treats. The guys working were friendly and offered us free samples to taste the various flavors, which we did do. If they had lime, lemon, raspberry, or other sorbet flavors I would go back more often. But overall for ice cream they're great with lots of flavors, and the dip size was a full scoop. We sat on the soft couch and watched some TV as we enjoyed our treat. read more

We came here last week for a family ice cream night. The two girls behind the counter were very friendly and moved the long line of patrons along quickly. I ordered a chocolate dipped waffle cone and was surprised they dipped the cone to order instead of making them ahead which made for a very fresh and tasty cone. There were so many options for flavors and toppings and the store smelled fresh and clean. The ice cream was a little pricey, but it was definitely worth it as it was clearly high quality ice cream. We are new to the area and I was very happy to find this place. We will definitely be back again! read more

We always enjoy Kimi's ice cream. Today when we went there many of the flavors had melted ice cream on top. I understand they have to clean out the bottom of containers etc, but the ice cream should not be melted. They attempted to put them on a cone. It was so soft that we ended up with cups as too. We went in for shakes - not the shakes were great - the girl behind the counter -blonde, long hair - grumpy and rude. Clearly not happy where she is. We went a second night thinking maybe she had a bad day - nope - still a witch. She was struggling getting ice cream out of canister - I asked if it would help if I changed flavors - if looks could kill I would be dead. Unbelievable to be so unhappy at such a young age. i've been inside and i have eaten there multiple times on a hot or cool chill day to grab a bite and it's amazing their toppings and ice cream flavors are amazing! Because I'm indecisive when I have too many options, I stuck with my tried and true (cookies and cream). Hubby ordered a scoop rum ice cream as well as birthday cake. Everything was delicious and a welcomed after dinner treat. Prices are fair. Two scoops and my single scoop with a sugar cone came to $8 and some change. Not bad. We love eating ice cream here at Kimis. There are soooo many different flavors to choose from. I usually get a coffee flavored ice cream in a cookie sandwich. Oh its so delicious! my husband usually gets the orange ice cream float and loves it! I've also tried the superman ice cream which is just different colored ice cream and tastes like vanilla. This place always has great ice cream. The kids love the multitude of flavors and the adults like that it's good quality hand scoop ice cream. The only challenge is that they change their hours and we never know when they are actually open. Call before you go. We didn't do that today and they are closed at 330p with a note saying they open at 430p. read more

But when I ordered a "root beer float with no ice cream" i got my root beer in a bowl with a spoon (per request) and just have to give them a 5/5 for customer service.
