I had spoken with a couple of other tile installers, but Jeff stood out as someone with high integrity who has the advantage of many years perfecting his craft. His professionalism will immediately impress you: always respectful towards the client, has excellent communication skills (a rare quality), and a work ethic that amazes (the guy never takes a break!). Also totally focused when he is working on your project - never takes phone calls and never gets distracted by text messages or other extraneous things. We needed to repair a rough cut initially made by our plumber to repair a shower. The shower is finished in large slab travertine. The initial hole was ragged and uneven. This was a small, but difficult job. Since we wanted it done right, we hired Jeff Murdock. Jeff's repair is meticulous, flawless and looks beautiful! Moreover, it is waterproof and built to last. I had cracked tiles outside my shower door. Jeff figured out that there was water damage under the cracked tiles and where the water was coming from. After years of living with cracked old tile and doggie-damaged carpet, I hired Murdock Tile to replace all of the flooring on the lower level of my house (about 1500 sq. ft.) with fabulous Italian porcelain tile that looks like wood. It's doggie-proof and even husband proof. My realtor friend recommended it, rather than hardwood. He said it will never get damaged or stained and I will never regret it.
