Wright's Farm in Gardiner is exactly that kind of place. Established in 1904, this beautiful family farm offers an incredible selection of fresh produce, delicious baked goods, homemade jams, honey, pickles, breads, plants, and so much more. I was especially impressed by their greenhouse operation, which includes both hydroponic and aquaponic growing systems. They grow fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and strawberries right on the property using innovative growing methods. The farm itself is beautiful, with apple and peach orchards, fields of wildflowers, and plenty of seasonal produce. There's also a great selection of perennial plants for anyone looking to add something new to their garden. And there's even a brewery right on the property, making Wright's Farm more than just a place to pick up groceries. It's a destination to explore, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley. From the incredible selection of locally produced foods to the beautiful landscape and innovative farming practices, Wright's Farm was definitely a highlight of our visit. Fresh food, local farms, beautiful scenery, and a true Hudson Valley experience. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Overall rating: 4.9…read more I want to come back every chance I can get. I had the most amazing burrata salad that I've been trying to recreate for the last few months. A reservation is definitely recommended given the farm's distance. The service was a tad spotty, but the place was very busy. I was on a time crunch, but would definitely want to explore a bit more. Highly recommend!

Parking is limited, but once you arrive, the property is absolutely adorable with its farm setting and beautiful flowers. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally grown ingredients, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, almost every dish we ordered was incredibly salty. I love well seasoned food, but this was just too much. They definitely need to ease up on the salt because it overpowered the fresh ingredients. I would recommend to the chef - calm down on the salt please!!! The standout dish for our group was the hot honey pizza--it was absolutely delicious and the one item I'd happily order again. One small downside that caught me off guard was the bathroom. It was so dark that it was difficult to see anything. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with great service and a charming atmosphere!

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO FAMILY FUN FARM. This place is not only overpriced and filthy,…read moreit's downright dangerous. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the staff couldn't care less about safety or customer service -- the employees spent more time talking to each other than supervising any attractions, the cashier lady was rude and hostile, and there was zero guidance or oversight at any of the stations. The property itself is disgusting: trash everywhere, bathrooms that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, animal areas that were dirty and poorly maintained, and the lake water was murky, green, and full of debris -- not remotely safe for children. Speaking of safety, my child was put into an adult go-kart, set on the fastest speed, and crashed into a wall because there was no supervision at all. The machines are old, broken down, and clearly neglected, making every ride a potential hazard. Almost all advertised activities were either closed, broken, or required extra fees, making the experience outrageously expensive for what amounts to chaos and neglect. Other reviews online confirm the same problems -- rude staff, dirty facilities, unsafe rides -- so this isn't an isolated incident. It's honestly one of the worst places I've ever been to, and unless they fire their staff, clean up their property, fix their unsafe rides, and learn what customer service means, they don't deserve anyone's business. Family Fun Farm is a disaster: unsafe, overpriced, and completely unprofessional. If you care about your family's safety, cleanliness, or sanity, stay as far away as possible -- this place is a ticking time bomb disguised as a "family-friendly farm."
