This was okay. I was super excited from all the hype and was a little underwhelmed. The food was good-very good but pricey. The actual space is small and narrow with few beach chairs. The pier and dock are cool and my kids loved jumping off and swimming around. Bring water shoes! The hammock in the water was nice too. We didn't use the pools-they looked really cloudy. The location is great. The food was ok, drinks are ok too but the pool is gross. It's cloudy and I even saw a dog get in the water. Why?!

We had a great time dining at Kin Ha, and especially enjoying the amenities at Parque de los Sueños, which is essentially one and the same with this restaurant. Our kids enjoyed the pools and small waterslide, and also jumping from the pier and dipping in the ocean Drinks were good-maybe my best marg on the island. Food was fine. Pretty nice variety of food, drink, and activities for a beach club. Compared to the higher prices at so-called water parks on the island, this is a great spot to stop on a family golf cart ride around the island. Stopped at this place to grab a bite. It's amazing. Good food an things to do. Have a doc to walk out on with a rope swing to the water, kayaks, and a water trampoline. Can literally hang out here all day and not go anywhere. Have your phone cuz you could take tons of pics. Think I'm going to go get in the water hammock. Oh, and the staff was amazing. Good tasty food, it is a bit expensive. I went here with a family of 7 and we spent around $150. First, I got the huevos rancheros and they were absolutely delicious. The portions are big and will fill you up. We also got the sandwich which was very good for its price, the French toast, and the quesadillas with arracherra. They were all super delicious. I ordered coffee and it came in a VERY tiny cup and was not filled all the way. I wouldn't pay for the coffee again as there was no refills. Orange juice tasted like the one out of a carton box. The drinks are good but pricy as well. I do recommend the food though! read more

I went on a girls trip to Mexico and we were looking for a place where we could be at the beach, pool and eat / drink really well. This spot was literally everything we were looking for. Super hospitable staff, endless flowing drinks that were massively affordable and great access to the sea in an amazing format. Highly recommend for relaxation and pool time, even if you don't stay @ the hotel it's an amazing day trip you can stay at all day. We had a celebratory lunch there for newly certified divers in the family! I have no idea where the bad reviews listed here came from... maybe there is a new chef? I have eaten at top restaurants all over the world and this one was worthy of being in the discussion based on the total experience. We had a large grilled lobster to share, everyone had their own entree and a bunch of drinks amongst 5 people, so it wasn't a cheap lunch at $400 with a generous tip, but worth every dollar. Couldn't beat the view and atmosphere to start with on the seaside deck, service was great from Teo; very helpful, attentive, brought out our live lobster to show us before cooking, presentation on all plates was beautiful; particularly the salads, all of the entrees were very good to excellent; lobster - excellent, coconut shrimp - excellent, gorgonzola walnut apple salad - excellent, chicken tacos - very good, drinks were all good; the Bill Gates margarita wasn't the best taste/value at $25 but good. Regular margaritas very good. We spent the rest of the afternoon snorkeling and enjoying the beach there. read more

Kin Ha has beautiful pools to swim in, a slide for kids, rope swing, kayaks and swings you can't really swing on. The water is clear and fish for snorkeling are a plenty. It's very touristy and less local feel. The food was good, staff was nice. Staff does push and remind you to tip them throughout every step of your journey here, while not in a rude way could put off some. The slide into the kids pool is for 8 and under and isn't super deep so if you have a mix of kids ages know that older kids can't get in. Bathrooms are clean and the view is gorgeous! read more

My visit to Cancun was a better sweet one, the food was delicious at this location. Although I would mostly order tacos as that is all I can eat the tacos were delicious and the beer was also nice and cold. The staff was friendly and entertaining and they also left you to where you can have conversations with who you are with and really enjoy a good time. I definitely recommend this place as they try their best to make sure that you are happy with what you're eating and what you're drinking. read more

My family had the most wonderful time at Kin Ha. What an amazing place & wonderful staff who made us all feel like family. This was a family vacation for my wife and our 20th wedding anniversary, this included our kids, Sister in-law, parents and even grandparents. It felt like everyone at Kin Ha went out of their way to make a special night for all of us. Our waiter Dario spoke great English was very professional with a great personality that made you want to just sit down with him, hang out and have a few good drinks. Omar, the Director of Kin Ha made our night exceptional. ( I have posted a picture of my family with Omar right in the middle ). He was great to talk to and made our stay so memorable. Beautiful out-of-the-way outdoor restaurant with an awesome view. Very relaxed atmosphere. Food was a bit slow coming, but very tasty. We had the Mayan Fish Tacos and the Crispy Shrimp Tacos. Food was very fresh and well-seasoned. Drinks were nice and refreshing, especially the lemon daiquiri. Definitely worth finding this spot. read more

We are foodies so we ate many places in Isla Muejeres and Tulum and this was by far the worse tasting and one of the most expensive. I would go somewhere else. read more

Beautiful setting on the water. We spent the day in the comfortable lounge chairs, swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. They have a fun rope swing at the end of the pier. Margaritas, daiquiris were good. Fish tacos and guacamole tasted great while lounging in the sun. There is no beach, so if you want sand, this isn't the place for you. Our group loved it here. Water was clean and clear. Something for everyone! We didn't go in the pool but it looked nice. Service was excellent! read more

We loved Kin Ha! The service was fantastic and the sunset view was beautiful. We went twice and tried different dishes- the Mexican lasagna was one of my husband's favorite meals from the trip but beware it is very spicy. The steak and chistorra tacos, he says, were awesome. I had the house speciality chicken breast one night which was very good and the fish and chips the next which was also good. We tried a mai tai and it was delicious! Oh and the Oreo delirium dessert was awesome! They packed it up for us to take home and it was so rich and tasty. They also have a basket on the dock to catch lobster in so you know it's fresh, and they'll bring the live lobster to your table to check out, which is just a neat experience. We will come here again next time we visit the island! read more

Excellent spot to spend a day renting chairs. There is no sandy beach but the water is clear blue and great for swimming off the dock. There is a water trampoline, kayaks and paddle boards as well as a rope swing for guest use. Also nice pools with swim up bar. Our service was excellent, the food was ok, not our favorite ceviche as it had too much cucumber and the drinks were fine but not great. They do have a good happy hour deal with cheap beer and margaritas from 5-7. Really lovely way to spend a day in a nice setting with plenty to do. read more

My wife and I went here during our honeymoon for a sunset dinner and Kin Ha did not disappoint! I had the Mexican Lasagna and I highly recommend this dish. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Happy hour goes until 8pm with 75 peso margaritas. We loved it so much that we came back the next night as well. My friends and I went to this lovely bar for a relaxing lunch with a beautiful view. Food was great, portions were huge. Here is my issue. Our SOs had walked to the pier to take photos when the server came with our 'bill'. He showed my friend the amount due on an iPad....no itemized bill. It seemed high and we were trying to figure out the amount when he came and took our credit card and asked if we wanted to add tip. We were still confused by the bill amount. He showed us again and stupid us, we didn't stand our ground, not wanting to insult. Well once we got back to the hotel we figured it out and they had over charged us by $25! And we tipped over that!! I'm so angry and disappointed. We weren't staying on the island so it would be ridiculous to go back to complain. Plus they never gave us an itemized bill so we could prove it. It was a small order so it should've been straight forward. We've never been taken advantage of in Mexico before. This was really a shame on so many levels. read more
