Stopped by to enjoy drinks and the beach club environment. Nice place to come hang out by the pool or lounge on the beach.

Rented a scooter to see the whole island and planned a stop at Zamas for an extended lunch. Spent a few hours on the beach, swimming in the pools and then enjoying margaritas (strong! but delicious) the BEST guacamole I've had in Mexico (I'll be adding watermelon and mezcal to all my guacamole from now on!) and their award winning octopus tacos YUM! A true island luxury experience without spending too many pesos.

Found this place while renting a golf car discovering the island. Ordered the Priemere seafood tower, got the wild mussels which were a bit dry, but eatable. They don't have lobster btw, the sauce was fabulous. They ran outta beer but had only Sol, there is an extension for an open buffet. They don't provide towels, so bring your own. This is an amazing place! Service is great, food is awesome and you right on the beach and pool area that you can use for free! Even if you don't want have a food, you still can relax at the pool area or beach. We had couple of things: shrimp look like little empanadas very good, fish tacos are awesome and ribeye steak is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place!

Food is not bad but not the greatest on the island. Our hotel is 5 mins away so we walked to Zama after I saw some good reviews. Posted the most recent drink and food menu. The beach is nice next to the dining place.

We stopped by Zama for lunch while roaming Isla Mujeres on a day trip. We sat at a table on the beach and the views were great. They also have a dock that we went on to take pictures. They have an extensive menu of food and drink options. I started with the tortilla soup and for my entree I settled on the seafood paella which was not disappointing at all. The others in my group ordered shrimp tacos, which came with jumbo fried shrimp and were very delicious. The place is definitely worth stopping by. They also have a pool overlooking the beach so you could make a day out of it if you have the time.

I have been here multiple times, but not since their new menu. The shrimp and fries that we ordered was fantastic!! 11/10! A little pricey but it was worth it! Overall service was not great because it was busier than usual. We also got mimosas which were also amazing! 4 stars only because of the service.

This is my favorite beach club on the island. The beach itself is not like the crystal clear beaches of north beach but the vibes are pure relaxation. There's an occasional tour boat that comes through brining a bit of excitement but other than that, this spot is very calm. There's hammocks in the water which are perfect for relaxing without getting too hot, a fun swing perched just above the water, three well kept swimming pools and plenty of shaded dining at the restaurant and umbrellas with chairs at the shore. And the food. OMG the food is some of the best I've had on the island. I will be back just for the octopus tostada! It's one of the most unique things I've ever tasted. The staff are also exceptionally kind and the prices are reasonable. 100 pesos to rent a chair for the whole day and then menu prices ranging from 200 pesos and up for really good food.

    Swing in the water

Came with a party of 7 and got seated right away on the beach. And I cannot emphasize enough how amazing their property is. Not only do they have a 2 decker pool, but they have access to a portion of the beach that has hammocks on one side of the water, a dock in between, and a swing on the other side that is perfect for taking pics for instagram, family photos, etc. As is I wasn't already mesmerized by the view, their service AND food was also 10/10. Their menu has a great variety of options, from seafood to vegetarian options, and even some kid's options that satisfied our picky 8-year-old. I got the tuna steak, which was absolutely delicious. This restaurant is perfect for anyone on a romantic getaway, or just a family with parents needing a distraction for their children.

Stopped in to use the bathroom and decided to stay and have a few drinks and appetizers. This place is dope. Wish we had our bathing suit on. Cool place for pics

On Isla Mujeres, you definitely have to stop here for the shrimp tacos and mango paletas. The staff is wonderful, the view is beautiful. There is even an island lady doing massages on the beach.

Fun day. Good service. A little pricey, but that's ok. Pools were nice, a little warm though.

Drink with a view! Highly recommend this spot for a little getaway on the island.

We were taking our golf cart to Punta Sur and wanted to stop for a drink & swim. This place was awesome! Everyone there was so friendly. The ceviche and shrimp tacos were unbelievably good & my husband is a chef so can appreciate good food when it is on point. That had a minimum drink/food order to use chairs and amenities but it was well worth it. The vibe was mellow when we were there. We'll definitely go back!

She was walking us a little towards the back, but since it was my first time to Isla, I wanted to people-watch, so I asked about a table up front. As soon as we headed over, I saw why she passed it - it was right next to the saxophone player! Thank goodness his volume level was perfect! Just loud enough to be heard over the crowds walking down the 'lane' out front and the restaurant diners' chatting. But not so loud that we 3 couldn't chat. We loved it! Now these two can EAT - and love to try everything on the menu, whereas I tend to eat smaller portions. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic - huge pieces of shrimp, so good! The lobster mac n cheese is so good, I would have loved to bring a big container of it home with me! The restaurant is very busy but very clean and tables are well organized for maneuvering a quick trip to the restroom before leaving. Our server, Maylen was attentive and pleasant. The bar area, facing the street, looked like a lot of fun, I'll have to try it next time!

A reservation was easy to obtain via email and we were all set for a sunset, evening meal. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere pleasant with an acoustic duo playing mellow tunes in the background. Honestly, we were a little disappointed with the view that most reviews rave about. Our sever was knowledgeable and made several suggestions. We selected the Pepita Crusted Tuna for a starter, my companion had the fresh catch which was grouper, blackened with a side of the peanut sauce. I chose the Surf and Turf. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie. Everything was beautifully presented, and quite artistic. The tuna appetizer was very good, but the main courses were frankly a disappointment. The creativity of the plate did not make up for the lackluster food. The steak was tough and poorly seasoned, the lobster was just passable but also chewy and not tender. The fish was not as well cooked as other restaurants downtown and again the seasoning was lackluster. The sides, lentils and mashed potatoes were just ok. The homemade Key Lime Pie was enjoyable but again seemed to lack a depth of flavor. If the food could match the service, presentation, and atmosphere then perhaps this could be one of Isla's better dining establishments, until then "the juice was not worth the squeeze."

There was live music which was very nice for the ambiance and the sunset. The bartender was really friendly and knowledgeable. Complimentary jalapeño bread ball was a nice touch. The pozole presentation was really nice and tasted good. The drunken shrimp presentation had a nice touch with the rosemary lit on fire, but felt it was a little lacking in flavor. The steak arrachera was really good with great smoked flavor. I would recommend checking out this little hidden gem when in the area.
