Splint change every week, for 4 weeks. This was included and they tried to tell me it was not, and I needed to pay extra!

Years later, I am still hearing threats that this review will result in a lawsuit. Yet no attorney has ever contacted me because everything I have written is based on my actual experience. My dog was brought to this facility with two broken legs. After driving two hours to the appointment and waiting for hours in a hot parking lot, I eventually learned that my dog had not even been seen yet. During that time, she was sitting in the back of the facility injured and unattended while I was repeatedly given little to no information about what was happening. What made the situation worse was that payment was taken upfront for services that were documented on the paperwork and represented as being provided, yet those services were ultimately not performed. Instead of accountability, I was given excuses and offered vouchers that did nothing to address the problem. The lack of communication, organization, and transparency throughout the entire process was unacceptable. When people bring their animals to a rescue or veterinary organization, they are often scared, emotional, and relying on the staff to provide honest information and competent care. That was not my experience. I stand by my review because it reflects exactly what I experienced: poor communication, poor customer service, and treatment of both animals and owners that I found deeply troubling. If you love your animal, do your research carefully before trusting this organization with their care.

    Uther Pendragon

It's a tough situation to be in, no money and a dying dog. I just noticed so many poor reviews, I had to leave my own. I was going through a financial crisis due to my dog becoming sick. I spent a couple months and several thousand dollars at multiple vets. Several different diagnosis and a final diagnosis of a huge mass in his intestines. Surgery, due to the multiple diagnosis, x-rays, ultrasound exams, medication and weekly visits was now not an option. I was also told he wouldn't survive a Surgery nor could they tell me exactly what it was. I called Kinder, explained my situation, what I had available in cash and credit, they said come right now. When they examined him, he couldn't walk, wasnt eating anymore. I asked if they could do exploratory Surgery. They took him in, opened him up and removed an obstruction, saved his life. This was a $6000 Surgery. I paid $2800. Uther lived a long and amazing life for a bully dog. I'm thankful for the care. Nobody will care the way Kinder does. Long waits outside, poor parking situation, rough customer care, whatever! My dog had the most loving incompetent care, no money too bad so sad. My dog is more important than my sensibilities.

Little guy didn't have a chance with these clowns. He had FIP

Was trying to help a random lady with her sick kitten. He was at this place overnight on oxygen. They had me pick him up the next day and told me to take him to C.A.R.E.S I took him there and they said they weren't equipped to help him. Had to take him to another place and they couldn't help him either. He died a few hours later.

I was able to do a walk-in with my dog (an existing patient), and they also got my mom's dog--my dog's sister and a brand new patient--in without an appointment. This visit was with Ignacio and Dr. A, and they were both incredibly kind, patient, and professional. We asked so many questions, and not once did they make us feel rushed. What I appreciate most is that they explain not just what they recommend, but why. They walk through the different options, which gives me the information I need to make decisions confidently instead of feeling pressured. Every question was treated as important, and they educated us without ever making us feel uninformed or judged. That's a rare quality and one of the biggest reasons I continue coming here. My dog is comfortable here, which says a lot, and after this experience my mom has decided to make this her dog's primary vet as well. It's reassuring to have found a clinic where we genuinely feel heard, respected, and well cared for.

They have strong…read moreratings, a busy office, and clearly a large clientele, but after less than two years there, I became deeply dissatisfied with the pricing structure and the way concerns about costs were handled. The customer service was polite but basic. My biggest issue was how quickly appointments seemed to turn into extensive and extremely expensive treatment plans. It often felt like the moment you mentioned even a minor concern, you were presented with a long list of recommended labs, X-rays, and additional testing. I understand diagnostics are important, but the costs frequently felt excessive and overwhelming. One situation especially changed my view of the clinic. After already paying for an initial exam and testing, I was told a follow-up visit for the same condition would cost nearly as much as a brand-new office visit. When I questioned the pricing and suggested starting with lab work first before jumping into more testing, I was treated as if I were being difficult simply for asking reasonable questions and trying to be financially responsible. What frustrated me even more was later learning that some bloodwork could have been sent to an outside lab for nearly half the price, but that option was not presented upfront. Clients deserve transparency and choices, especially during costly veterinary care. The most upsetting part was being told I could no longer return to the clinic while my pet was still in the middle of treatment because management considered me "too disgruntled" over the fees. I found that extremely unprofessional. Questioning pricing should not automatically make a client a problem. Thankfully, I eventually found another veterinary clinic that was a much better fit for me and my pet calm, clean, transparent, and very thorough. They spent time explaining everything clearly without making me feel pressured or financially cornered. I'm not writing this to damage anyone's business. Media City Veterinary Medical Center obviously has many loyal customers. But clients also have a right to speak honestly about their experiences, and mine left me disappointed.
