Amazing animal hospital. Good prices and caring staff. My cat non-profit is happy for the care.

Our dog woke up with an ulcer in her eye which can be very painful and scary. It was a Sunday and our regular vet was closed! After calling around we landed here at Pet Alliance. They had the most reasonable consultation price in the area. Pros: * open on sundays *it is clean and well maintained * they have a coffee & snack bar * prices are reasonable Cons: * it is walk-in based * your not in the room with your pet during the exam * they don't automatically give you an estimate unless you ask for it! This was a bit of a turn off because I want to be able to see the cost breakdown before anything is done to my pet.

Awesome service, everyone is so nice! Brought my lethargic cat who hasn't been eating or pooping in and they said it was a bacterial infection!! They gave some antibiotics and I got to have my baby! Def one of the great places to take your pet!!

At first, I was hesitant and worried to bring my sick cat to this clinic, **only because I had never been here before (and had a few poor experiences with previous vet clinics), and neither my friends or family had been here either to recommend. But he needed to be seen quickly and we found PAW Center was open Sundays which was a relief. We took a chance, and we are so grateful we ever did. After a few days stay, IVs, treatment, and monitored care by the wonderful PAW Center team: Fernando, Dr. McKay, Kayla, and the front desk girls; Panchito was feeling much better and back to being playful, happy, with an appetite again as we've always known him just within a couple days of coming home. It was all such a relief. I appreciated being able to check-in with how he was doing there each day with the staff too. I thank Fernando for his patience and answering all of our questions/concerns, I was very worried and feeling sad as anyone is when their furry family member is sick and stops eating. But Fernando assured us they would focus on prioritizing immediate treatment and run appropriate tests/labs to get to the bottom of it. He was very professional, caring, knowledgeable, and respectful of our concerns. Dr. McKay was also amazing for reaching us and providing next steps for ongoing treatment for the next month (which btw he's doing so well so far ). My family and I are so appreciative for the team at PAW Center for taking care of our Panchito and being transparent about treatment, pricing, and next steps. Finally, a place where the "guesswork" isn't just running a bill with no answers or solutions. I would highly recommend them for taking care of your pets with care, knowledge, and respect. Here's a picture of our sweet boy Panchito doing better :) P.S. even the small things matter; one of his take-home medications was a 1/4 dose of a pill and one of the girls took the extra time and care to cut the pill into pieces for us. A small thing goes such a long way in terms of service. Also the lobby area is very clean, comfortable and has complimentary beverages, coffee, and snacks which is also great in terms of guest service and comfort. Thank you PAW Center!

rescued two severly neglected chained up dogs in a junkyard in South LA. The female was heavily pregnant but spay aborted at a spay/neuter only clinic. Before I was able to find a rescue organization to help them, she started having "seizures" after the spay surgery. I compared prices and services for vets based on the recommendations of other animsl rescuers. PAWS was close but also had the most reasonable prices. I spoke with Fernando the owner who was EXTREMELY KIND AND COMPASSIONATE about these 2 poor souls and the hard life they lived. He was able to find creative ways of saving me money while performing all necessary tests to make sure they were safe. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facility is large, clean and beautiful. They answered all my questions and were extremely helpful. I cannot thank them enough for helping these two unfortunate dogs and helping to give them a better life for once. Here is the dogs story. Please share if there are rescues or fosters that would be interested in helping them. THANK YOU PAW CENTER!!! https://nextdoor.com/p/tf27JPNxwQCm?utm_source=share&extras=MTc0OTg1ODA0&utm_campaign=1773470230230&share_action_id=667fa5ab-8c14-452c-ba50-f46af2330274

Brought my dog here for urgent care. She is an 11 yo, 8 lb Chihuahua who ate 3 grapes when I wasn't looking! This was the closest place to my home that was open on a Sunday. I am so happy I found this place and will be coming here in the future (I have 3 cats and 2 dogs). When I arrived I was able to check in pretty quickly, they took my dog in and checked her and suggested giving her something to make her vomit first. This worked so that was great news. They also gave her fluids to help with hydration. The only thing is I didn't get to talk to the vet, just the front desk assistant but I think that was due to them finding a quick solution to the problem. Prices are very reasonable and the place is absolutely welcoming (spacious, clean, modern) and they even have a snack bar which is amazing! I definitely recommend.

This is a follow up to the rectum prolapse cat. He is still alive and doing well he's even put on maybe a couple Pounds. They did such a fantastic job with the surgery. I have gone back for other cats that some basic things and I recommend. They're experienced and are kind to animals.

PAW Center is phenomenal and I can't recommend this place enough! My cat Leota jumped out of my arms and developed a limp in her back leg, so I brought her to Paw Center for x-rays of her spine and legs, bloodwork, and Cayla suggested a platelets check so all of our bases were covered! Leota was sent home with medication for her new diagnosis (arthritis) and she's been doing well ever since! The facilities are gorgeous and comforting for anxious pet parents who are awaiting their angels in the lobby! Please ask for Cayla when you go

Dr Kayla is the best she is so helpful and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to take care of our toy poodle and diagnosis. She is very nice and polite and takes time to answer our concerns. The entire place is super clean they work fast and very reasonable prices. They don't push you to do all the tests and charge you instead they give you explanations and choices This place is great and Dr Kayla is The BEST

The office lobby with a whole coffee, tea, soft drinks and snack bar in the back.

I absolutely cannot put into words how thankful my family and I are to have found this facility. We have been battling health issues on one of our dogs since November that started as something so little and spiraled into a complete nightmare with other vets (SHOUTOUT VAN NUYS VETERINARY) being useless money grabbing scammers, our dog being recommended for euthanasia without any real reason (SHOUTOUT TO VCA FOR THAT) and feeling so discouraged that even to go here yesterday was a last stitch effort for immediate help. It was a world of difference from the very moment we spoke to Jocelyn on the phone. As soon as we came in, Dr. Kayla was so kind, heard us out, reassured us that she cared about our dog, gave us the help our little girl needed right then and there and we could have cried from how thankful we are for her and the office. Oh, and the icing on the cake.. it was a fraction of the cost compared to anywhere else. Sorry, and did I also mention every inch of the office is stunning? Even the exam rooms have cozy benches vs feeling cold and intimidating. PLUS!!! She and her staff even called us today to check on our dog to make sure she's ok. Thank you Dr. Kayla, Jocelyn, cat sitting on the desk and anyone else behind the scenes of this place. We will definitely be bringing our fur children here and have already recommended you to others.

My new favorite veterinary clinic/hospital. Experience, compassion, top technology are just some of the things I can describe Pet Alliance Wellness center. I highly recommend this establishment after sending my cat in panic mode on a Sunday afternoon and all hands were on deck. Kudos go to Fernando, Tatiana, and of course Dr. Mcray , all were fantastic. The lobby itself is calming with fresh cold water and snacks and a low-key vibe makes it just that much more when you're stressed out hoping that your loved ones are going to get better soon. I highly recommend PAW cen

I have a small feral colony that I've been dealing with for quite a few years and one cat that I've been feeding for 8+ years has finally started to let me pet her about six months ago and then she kind of started staying here at the house (with the rest of my feral hoard that have adopted me previously) and her mouth was killing her, and once she started to basically claw her face off, I had to get her looked at as soon as possible, and EVVC got me an appointment fairly quickly, and the outlook turned out to be better than any of us expected, so I'm hoping and a couple of days she will enjoy a fairly pain-free life again because now she's a full-fledged part of the family! I honestly can't say enough good things about the staff; from the first phone call through the pick up they were extremely polite, professional, and just pleasures to speak with, and they take the appropriate amount of time for each client's case. Over the years, I've had some debt inducing trauma from vet bills and this may be the first time that I've ever had an estimate come in under the discussed estimate, so I will take those savings on this cat and immediately bring in another little Ferrell that needs some medical attention... as well as one of my own.

When he was returned to my husband, we were told he might have a reaction for a few days. What followed was not a mild reaction. Our cat came home unable to stand, refusing food, clearly in severe pain, and urinating on himself. He had previously received the same vaccine without any side effects. We contacted the clinic immediately and were repeatedly told this was normal. It was not. After four days of watching our cat in agony with no improvement, we called again and were offered a visit with another veterinarian. At that appointment, we were reassured that everything was fine. The veterinarian manipulated his leg to demonstrate that nothing was wrong and even suggested unrelated care. Meanwhile, our cat continued to suffer. After about a month, he was still severely limping and in obvious pain. We called multiple times. When we were finally able to speak with someone, it was suggested that he may have had a pre-existing condition, which was absolutely not true. We then sought a second opinion. An X-ray immediately revealed a broken hip. We were asked whether he had experienced major trauma, such as being hit by a car. Our cat is strictly indoors and had no access to anything that could explain such an injury. Because of the delay, our cat endured prolonged pain, had to be confined for an extended period, and developed additional strain and arthritis in the other leg. We also incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses. We reported the case to the veterinary board. Afterward, Dr. Prabakhar called my husband expressing concern about the situation and potential consequences. The difference between what we were repeatedly told and what was ultimately discovered is devastating. Our concerns were consistently dismissed while our cat was suffering. Based on this experience, we strongly warn other pet owners not to trust this clinic with serious medical concerns and to seek immediate independent opinions.

I want to share my view-altering experience about the downfall of what now has become a…read moreprofit-over-pet care clinic, so much so that they charge you for services they don't actually properly perform. I have taken my Morkie, Hizee, to this clinic since he was a puppy. Initially, they provided good care and kindness, but recent management changes have adversely affected the quality of their services. It now seems they care more about profit than our pets' well-being. They have introduced unexpected charges that I find unacceptable, especially without prior notification. We are now seeing "Technician Appointment charges," even though the services provided have not changed. Be sure to check your bills closely, as these extra fees were not explained to us and are unreasonable, particularly since my dog's care has declined. Hizee is now nearly four years old, and he is not receiving the proper attention and care that he needs, despite the amount we are paying. Let me explain further. My dog needed his anal glands expressed every 3-4 weeks because he is a small breed, which is considered normal for them. Sometimes it was a struggle for me to bring him in, given the financial constraints; mind you, I tried to make it a regular thing. When I did make the timing regularly, he was almost always full since he had just started scooting, and they would say they would make sure to bring him in regularly to avoid being too full or to avoid hurting the dog. During my last visit, I was told that his glands were barely filled (red flag 1). They usually told me they were full or that it was a good time, but that day was different. Mind you, he wasn't even in the room for that long, because I was surprised when they brought him out so quickly, saying he wasn't full and that one side was barely there. Despite this, I was charged for the gland expression, and I found an unexpected technician appointment fee added without any notice. When I questioned this while I was there, the new staff member's response was rude, on top of his glands not being full and barely expressed. Less than a day later, I called the clinic to discuss these charges since my dog was still uncomfortable and scooting, which was why I had visited in the first place. The receptionist was very dismissive and rude, which is unacceptable, especially given the surprise of the extra fees and my dog's visible discomfort. When I took Hizee to the groomer a day or two after the vet visit--who is also a former veterinary technician--she noticed that his glands expressed themselves during his bath because they were full and needed more attention, even though they were irritated. This indicated that the clinic likely charged me for a service they did not perform properly. My dog spent less time at the clinic than usual and came out much quicker than expected. They claimed he wasn't full and barely had anything. How could he be full every 3-4 weeks and suddenly not this time? If he wasn't full, how did he become full again in less than two days when it normally takes 3-4 weeks? It is clear to me that the clinic no longer prioritizes our pets' well-being. They appear more interested in profit than in providing quality care. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this clinic think twice. It has become more profit-driven than a place dedicated to caring for pets.

She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

The moment I walked in they called for someone in the back to come take him to check him immediately; they then spent 14 hours rescuing him. They discussed treatment plans/options with compassion and understanding. Dr Farrell, I later discovered, stayed well past her shift helping monitor him. Stacy was able to get an IV line into him when I was ready to give up. They not only took care of my pet but they reached out to care for me-offering blankets (Clarissa!), tissues and coffee/water as well as comfort. Thank you to all of the unnamed team who helped send our old man home with a little more time. You are all amazing and I wish I had thought to get all of your names and thank each of you from the bottom of my heart!

When I got there, vet techs were waiting for me. Some of them took her back, and one took my story on what happened, and her symptoms. I had to call Pet Poison Line so they could tell the vets how to treat her-that's fine-and they wanted to do a full workup on her since she is 12. I said that's fine, that's what insurance is for. It was about 11pm when I was sent home to rest while they took care of her. At about two, they called me to tell me that she survived the nightshade poisoning, but they had found a thicker spot in her intestines in the x-ray, and they wanted to do follow-up images in the morning, so I got another estimate for them to keep her til the next day and run another round of x-rays and do an ultrasound. She stayed and I went back to sleep. In the morning, a very kind vet whose name I don't remember called me and went over what is happening and why that spot could be there. She gave me advice on how to proceed after today. She asked what food my cat eats so they could give it to her there too. I was kept in the loop the whole time from when I got there to when I picked her up at 4:30pm. It set me back about $3500. Thank God for pet insurance. But considering all they did and the overnight stay, not terrible. My cat's idiocy may have saved her bacon if we caught something early, but so did True Care's thoroughness.
