My hair came out pretty, but it wasn't what I asked for. - Cut: The layers weren't done well so it sort of resembles a long mullet at times...kind of a mushroom shape effect. Feels like I have only 2 layers I'm descent with hair so can mask it a bit with curls. - The highlights are fine but they are old school/ going to root all over and not the ballyage effect I asked for. That said, they were blended nicely. - The color is red/orange which bothers me more than the cut. I said multiple times I didnt want red or warm... my whole head, not just the highlights, got toned a fairly strong red hugh. I invested in blue and purple shampoos trying to tone it down. It helped a bit. I did give her feedback but I don't want to go back to get it fixed because I've been back once already and I'm not confident in her ability to fix it at this point. She did offer to try again. I think i gotta wait this one out a few months and then get a trim and/or tone from someone else. Facility was cute and clean, free parking out back. She also went above and beyond when it came to making me comfortable. I use a wheelchair, and she was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful about accessibility. She even went to another stylist's station to use a sink that would be more comfortable and soothing for me. That might seem like a small thing, but it meant a lot to me. She never made me feel like my wheelchair or accessibility needs were an inconvenience. And then Crystal completely impressed me with her customer service. She told me that if I didn't absolutely love my hair after a week, I could come back and she would make any minor adjustments for free. Well, I ended up coming back just THREE days later because I decided I wanted it a little brighter and a little shorter. She welcomed me back, listened to exactly what I wanted, made the adjustments, and didn't charge me anything extra. And she absolutely NAILED it. My hair is now 100% exactly what I wanted! It's rare to find someone who combines this level of talent and technical knowledge with such warmth, patience, kindness, and genuine care for her clients.
