Again, I was working out about 6 days a week (2 of which were with Paul) and following a measured/healthy diet and protein shakes, but I am so happy! I wanted to keep going for another 4 weeks at Irons, but I have to hold off for a while financially (too many other expenses coming up this month)... but I know that I'll be able to continue my progress at home using what I've learned and hopefully come back in a few weeks to keep going with them at Irons. Post Covid life had just crept up on me the last 5 years or so and hated what I saw in the mirror . Fast forward five months to later and I'm now @ 178 lbs and sub 18% body fat (It's Late March 2026 now). Honestly, it's been an amazing transformation and I didn't think I'd get such results so quickly. What really stands out about UP is their approach. The training is very focused on hypertrophy, but more importantly, they are big on form and technique. Every rep matters, and they make sure you're doing things the right way. On top of that, their nutrition guidance is super dialed in. They keep it very precise with calorie tracking, which makes a huge difference because that's where most of the results come from. All of the trainers there are experienced and know what they're doing, but I especially want to call out my trainer Mo (Mohammed Ahmed). He's been awesome--great motivator, very knowledgeable, and he knows exactly how to push you without overdoing it. I'm honestly so encouraged by the progress that I'm sticking with it through the summer to try and get to my best shape ever. Yes, it's not cheap--but if you actually follow the program (diet, steps, training), you will get results. Think of all the wasteful "training sessions" you've done at your local gym. It's all basically a waste. You simply won't get these kind of results---no way. The UP method guarantees results----how far you take it though is entirely dependent on you ! Pulse fitness participates in this, and it's about 5 credits a class through ClassPass. I've been able to take a variety of classes here, from the TKO Boxing to the different styles of yoga, and the pilates machine! I like it because it's super close to my apartment and parking is never an issue. It's a really cool spot and never feels super crowded. They have separate spaces elsewhere in the building that holds the pilates machine as well as a cycling studio. The instructors are good and responsive to any areas you want to focus on. Would definitely recommend swinging by to take a class here or join as a member!

The gym is located in the same building as the Personnel Support Detachment and Williams III Café. You can get a full workout as there are spinning and aerobic classes, indoor swimming pool, basketball courts, and a full weight room. If you enjoy cardio then you are in luck because there is a cardio room with everything you could possibly need and an indoor track. The only issue is parking as depending on where you park that in itself is a workout to get there. The best thing to do is park in the America garage and it is a short walk to the gym. There is a parking garage to the gym but it is reserved for staff and you need a passcode to utilize this garage.
