King Airport Shuttle is truly top notch! Alex picked us up outside of baggage claim and had a sign with my name on it and was waiting with a smile. I was thrilled to find out that he is Thai and we had a nice time chatting on the way to the hotel. He didn't mind my half English-half Thai conversation. We absolutely loved Alex. He is genuine, caring, and conscientious. The van was very comfortable, roomy, and clean. Alex truly saved us when we discovered an issue at the hotel rental car window and our itinerary for the next day was going to possibly be cancelled. When I called he was eager to make it work for us and made my Eastern O'ahu site seeing dreams come true. He was early for our 5:30 am pick up and while on the way to Ma'ka'pu'u LIghthouse, stopped to show us all the sites along the way. The sunrise was stunning. We had plenty of photo ops. He didn't just drive but shared his joy of the island with us. Alex waited for us while we did the 1.5 hour hike and took us to the Valley of the Temples, a stop at McD's for some Hawaiian McD's breakfast! A special stop at his favorite beach, Waimanalo, and onto Kualoa Ranch. He was quick to pick us up and take us to the Macadamia Nut farm and the Poi Factory. When we needed to do a Malasada stop and get some groceries, he did that too. All with a smile. It was a long morning and he never lost his charming attitude. Alex saved the day and truly made it one of the best days of our lives! No exaggeration. That day was one we will always remember. Leaving the island is always a bummer, but when Alex drove up to get us, we were so happy to see him. Alex's positive energy was a wonderful way to arrive at the airport before heading back home. We had them pick us up to take us to the airport and they showed up with a nice big van for the five adults and all of our bags. When they picked us up at the end of our trip the driver was very late even though we called and gave them plenty of notice and we had arranged it weeks in advance. Then the driver made up some story about the construction at the airport being the reason why he was late which is not true. We will try another service next time. read more

No complaints with King's Airport Shuttle service! After seeing their positive reviews on Yelp, I tried their service at the beginning of our Hawaii trip and at the end of our Hawaii trip (to/from the HNL airport and our hotel in Waikiki beach). I called the day before to make a reservation, which is what they recommended that I do when I called them weeks prior to my Hawaii trip. The drivers were always punctual, and we got to our destination in an efficient amount of time. I loved the flat rate of $25 for two people - much cheaper than taking a taxi. It was nice not to anxiously watch a meter as time progressed..haha Give King's Shuttle Service a shot if you're seeking transportation to/from the airport - I was very pleased and would use them again. read more

So we had problems with another shuttle company who cancelled on the day of our departure ( Honolulu Shuttle). and I called King and spoke to Gina. She texted me to confirm the pick up location , total ppl. and time. Note that this company has other back ups (taxi, other drivers etc) in case of delays, so you are guaranteed a ride on time. Our driver called us 15 mins prior to arrival time set. If not for King shuttle, we would not have made our flight. read more

Had to find a trustworthy, reliable ride from the airport to my house literally the day before. Took it to Yelp to locate a shuttle service. King was everything the reviews spoke of and more. They got back to me quickly and assured me that I would have someone there upon arrival. Driver called me to let me know he was there while I was waiting for our baggage. Told me exactly where he would be waiting and there he was, standing there with my name on a sign and it was easy to spot him. I forgot his name (sorry!) but he was pleasant and got us home quickly and safely! $25 flat rate from airport to Aiea. Not a bad price for a last minute call! READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING!! Booked through this company because of the good reviews. It was our first time to the island and we wanted the experience of getting picked up at the airport and greeted with leis. Unfortunately this company ruined this experience and did absolutely nothing to try to remedy the situation. The communication leading up to the pickup was great. They sent a few reminder texts and instructions on what to do/where to go after getting our bags. In the instruction email they requested for us to give them a courtesy call when we landed - which we did. They sent a follow up text letting us know the name of our driver and his phone number. In the instructions text they let us know that the pick up area doesn't allow them to sit and wait for more than 15 mins so that if we don't see the shuttle not to worry - that they just had to drive around to make a quick loop and would be right back - totally understandable. We quickly gathered our bags and met at the pick up spot (inside a hot parking garage). After about 10 minutes we still had not been picked up so I called our driver to get a status update. He said he was 10 minutes away. This was surprising to me because the way they advertise their service is that they would be waiting for you...not the other way around. 20 minutes after making the phone call the driver finally arrived. He was nice but gave an apology that sounded like a formality. The shuttle itself was okay - pretty dated, hot and very bumpy. The driver then asked if he could pick up more passengers. I completely understood that the 15 passenger van wasn't just for us but after waiting in a hot garage for 30 minutes we were tired, hot and ready to be at our hotel. We kindly asked if he could just take us to our hotel and have another driver pick them up since we had been waiting so long. He didn't say much and went ahead and picked up the other passengers anyways...from a completely different terminal which took an additional 10/15 minutes. Again, had we been picked up in a timely manner we would have had no issue with the driver picking up additional passengers. After our trip I texted the company to let them know about our awful experience and to request some form of compensation. Our total came out to $65 (without tip)....for that price I could have and should have just ordered an Uber. It would have been much cheaper and much faster! The company responded to my text immediately and said they would speak to the owner. Two days later I still hadn't heard from them. I was willing to not write this review if they were able to partially refund me for the shuttle but after reaching out to them for a second time they said the owner wasn't willing to issue any kind of compensation for their awful service. I understand things happen but they're providing a service and if they can't provide the service they should compensate for it! Long story short, book the Uber! read more

Had Alex pick me up for another Nanakuli to airport run. Once again, he showed up early, patiently waited, loaded my baggage, and got me to the airport quickly. The reservation and confirmation process was better this time, and Alex had his phone on silent alerts, which he ignored while driving. FYI- they will be closed the month of April, so if your call isn't being answered, that's why. When they are open, Alex either answers the phone almost immediately, or he gives you a call back as soon as possible (even if you didn't leave a message). Great customer service! read more
