My boyfriend and I came here the other day and between the two of us we tried almost half the menu. Porky's tatchos were absolute incredible. Large portion, delicious pork surprisingly nuanced cheese sauce, and lots of fresh and hot jalepenos. We tried both dessert tacos, the Tarzan and the igloo. The igloo was a perfect balance of crispy, high quality ice cream, and yummy nuts. The Tarzan (bananas and Nutella) was delicious but not quite as incredible as the igloo. We enjoyed the hogzilla, inner harbor, and two specials for the day, a hot fried chicken and a Cuban inspired choice. I really enjoyed the specials and thought everything was very well balanced and curated. The hogzilla was tender and delicious, but be warned that it really is thick and fatty pork belly, and not the more westernized pork belly you might be used to. The Cuban was delicious and more westernized pork. The hot fried chicken was spicy, crispy, and insanely delicious. My boyfriend said that the inner harbor was surprisingly fresh and delicious (and he worked in Baltimore for a time). Definitely check this place out! Cheap, delicious and innovative eats. Definitely grab a fork because everything will inevitably fall out and you'll want to savor every last bite. We were stuffed with two bao + a dessert bao + half of the tatchos each. So if King Bao had some form of gluten free bao, or a substitution, then I would definitely give the place five stars. I got Porky's Tatchos which are tots loaded with braised pork, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and scallions (I skipped the jalapeños). They were amazing, guys. However, I will say that's just not enough food for me. My friend got the Glen Rhee Bao and kicken chicken, which she said were absolutely phenomenal. Oh and did I mention it's extremely affordable! Certainly a tasty take on a taco. Tired two different baos, the pork belly one was the star of the show. Huge slab of pork belly wrapped in that soft bun. The second was kimchi fried chicken version. This one had some great fried chicken but was lacking the distinct flavor of kimchi. I also got a order of tater tots with some pork. While the tots were great, crispy and seasoned well. There was very little pork with the order, thats cool the dish wasnt that expensive for a side but the amount of pork didnt really add to the dish (only like .50cents extra). I would love to come back and try some more bao's when im in Orlando. I think I prefer the bao bun over a traditional soft taco shell. read more

My go-to baos are the firecracker shrimp and the coco loco, I also like to try whatever specials they have. I've honestly loved every single one that I've tried so you really can't go wrong. They even have a lobster roll one where they fry the bao and it's amazing. They also have tater tots here, mind you I'm not a big fan of tater tots but my friend ordered the pork topped ones the last time we went and they were so good that I got up and ordered them myself. To top it off all the people that work here are super chill and friendly and understanding when I keep coming up to order more food. Ordered from King Bao through Uber Eats and when my driver arrived with the food he only had one bag and for the amount of food I ordered I knew I needed two. So of course my driver left my food at the restaurant. I call the driver, he didn't answer. I emailed Uber, they couldn't get a hold of my driver. So I called King Bao, and they said they had tried the same route I had in reaching my driver. But before I could complain the guy on the phone asked my address and said he would drive it over but want to make sure the food was hot. So I got my food, still hot and delicious. We ordered the Kickin Chicken, The Cuban (a special), and one of the seafood options, that I can't seem to recall. They were all very good overall, just felt like each one was missing something. Personally, I felt the Cuban would have benefitted from a fresh squirt of lime juice, something acidic to heighten the flavors of the other ingredients.
