Spicy chicken katsu

Red Panda is always consistent and comforting deliciousness. If you're craving vegetarian noodles or meat noodles, Red Panda has those menu options for you to choose. Very generous portions, so your bellies will be satisfied. If you haven't tasted Red Panda Noodle yet, I highly recommend. Especially now that they are based at A La Cart City Downtown.

I've been chasing the Red Panda Noodle for years. When this place first opened, it was the talk of the town, and it's been solid in quality ever since. I guess I just don't get out and about to the right places, but I was at the right place at the right time this time. They were at the Florida Fringe Festival parked right on the lawn. It was finally my time. The initial encounter was a little bit of a downer. I ordered the Biang Biang noodles, and they took my money, but then a few minutes later, it was oops, we're out. I was slightly distraught, but luckily, they had another banger on their menu. So I ordered the Spicy Chicken Katsu (Crispy fried chicken takes a dip in yellow curry udon. Bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots--like a bento box went to Burning Man). And we also ordered the Skewers (Sticky, garlicky, ranchy mystery on a stick. We're not explaining it. Just eat it). The skewers were omg delicious. Covered with two different sauces, sitting in another sauce, all the flavors blended seamlessly into a sweet, spicy, herbaceous, wonderful bite. The description didn't say what kind of meat it was, I didn't ask, but it was crispy and juicy and also good. Just a solid skewer. Then it was time for the main event. That Katsu. A good sized cutlet, very crispy, perfect thickness, very moist chicken. The curly udon noodles were well-cooked. A nice bounce, a nice chew. Coated in the hot curry sauce. This curry was definitely hotter than average, so be forewarned. But it's not stupid hot. It's a very pleasant burn, and delicious. Get this dish. Overall, I was blessed by the food truck gods when I stumbled upon the Red Panda. Great food, definitely two standard deviations above most food truck food out there.

Pros: This is a food truck, so it is always on the move. Gotta know where it is, and I'm very glad they wanted to come to the Florida Fringe Festival this year. Service was nice enough. Food was definitely above average for food truck food. Certainly didn't taste like it all came from a Sam's Club, like on TV. Cons: They ran out of a certain type of noodle that we wanted. Seems a bit problematic when the menu is so limited anyway. Tips: Each thing we tried was awesome. If you get anything with the curly udon noodles or any kind of katsu, you won't be able to go wrong. Both items were very good.

DELICIOUS! Some of the best noodles I've had. This specific dish was so spicy but had the best flavor. This spot is a food truck but located in A La Cart downtown Orlando. The prices were a little high, as I paid just under $20 for this noodle bowl (including tip) but because it was so great I'd say worth it.

Usually so good but the night we went each dish was so salty (we got three different ones) like they spilled salt into all the sauces. Noodles are a perfect texture though. Love it

Service was great and the food came out quickly. We went to the food truck at A La Carte downtown orlando. I got the Biang Biang noodles. They were decent but I felt like the spice overtook everything else. I loved it but would've wanted something else to make it have more of a taste than just spice. Noodles were fantastic and honestly if they gave the option to add shrimp I would. The dish was never ending though and super filling. I would get something else from here again!

Visited the new truck location, in downtown. Cool location with plenty of seating. Perfect to sit and eat outside on a nice day. I tried to order ahead but I couldn't find a working link to do so. The truck staff was nice and my food did not take long. I ordered the Bourbon noodles. Don't think I will order again. It wasn't horrible but it was definitely on the salty side. I've had their garlic noodles before and I don't remember them being salty. I'll definitely eat with them again. I want to try their dumplings.

Always love when I catch Red Panda Noodle popping up around town. This is one of my favorite food trucks in Orlando, created by the folks behind Orlando Meats (RIP). Their fresh, hand-pulled noodle dishes are all so unique and creative and they give you very generous portions. You can usually find them at Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District, Orlando Parking Lot Party, the Thornton Park Night Market, at Redlight Redlight in Audubon, at Milkmart, and various other markets and festivals in Orlando. I love their wavy udon noodles and some of my favorite dishes are the spicy chicken kastu made with yellow curry and the garlic noodles. They also have great vegetarian options like the goomba (mushrooms) and the biang biang noodles. They almost always have a line, but it's worth the wait! They post their events schedule on IG so be sure to check there for updates.

They show football and basketball games.

I had the chicken katsu noodle bowl and it was amazing. They really load up the chicken -- sometimes the lid can barely even close. The noodles are juicy, flavorful, and always hit the spot. They're also super quick with getting orders out. I highly recommend this place if you want great food and generous portions.

First time eating at this food truck was at tasty takeover and am so glad that they are located downtown and much closer to me now! Loved the curry chicken ramen, the chicken was so tender and crispy and there was the perfect spice kick to the dish. Considering how busy they always get I was impressed with how fast I got my food. The new location has a great vibe as well

Biang Biang noodles $15 with hand pulled noodles, bok choy, chilli and scallions
Marisa C.

Okay so these hand pulled noodles are super fresh and chewy! We ordered the Biang Biang vegan noodles with bok choy, chili and scallions for $15. Even though the dish seemed rather small, it was super filling. I loved the noodles but I felt it had a little too much oil and spice. It's funny that I'm saying something had too much spice, because I'm the girl that puts way to much spicy sauce on things. I almost wished there was more bok choy to make it feel a bit healthier. We ordered and it was ready very quickly and visited them when they were in the Casselberry park. I didn't even know this cute park existed. I would definitely come back to try another dish.If you do go with these noodles, know they are spicy and very messy!

This is literally my favorite food truck and now to have a permanent spot that I can always go and get my fav noodles is like a dream come true! I tried something new on this adventure and it did not disappoint! They didn't have the noodles that normal go with the Biang Biang but it was still delicious and spicy! They also had vegan dumplings which had caught my attention on instagram and prompted me to make this trip out. They unfortunately only had a few left and not enough to make a full order but they still made them for me and even let me have them for free! Literally some of the nicest people you will ever meet work here! 10/10 they will be seeing me soon.

always a 10/10 here! Whenever I have the chance to get Red Panda I am going no questions asked. I am a huge fan of their spicy chicken katsu and order it like it's my job. It's perfectly spicy and so well seasoned with the wavy udon noodles mmmm i'm having flashbacks now. Anyway, this place is a must try and i'm super excited for them to finally have a permanent home soon! Amazing staff and amazing food!

Super salty. Unique noodles though. It's at Art2 Park which is run by A La Cart so will probably go back just because of that.

To start, they have a great Happy Hour 3-6 pm with a limited menu, but Sapporo drafts and local brews are under $5 each. That is a win right there. They also have beer and Sake flights. My Go to here is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, but I have had the others and never a bad experience. There is something really welcoming about Jinya. I suspect they treat there staff well and hire the right people. Everytime I am here I feel like they are over staffed, but there are plenty of tables inside and out in this intimate venue. My two favorite happy hour dishes are the Salmon Pke Tacos and the Crispy Chicken. I used to live on Lake Eola Park and I so miss coming here. Glad I stumbled in here today.

The tofu was very soft and not my favorite in terms of flavor, but everything else in the Spicy Creamy V Ramen was delicious. I also tried the Impossible meat bao, but the texture of the meat was a bit too firm or overcooked for my liking, especially paired with the soft bao bun. That said, I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, as there are so many options to choose from. Our server, Carl, was very friendly and attentive. I visited on a Friday evening, and the ambiance was relaxed yet lively, with plenty of groups enjoying dinner or drinks at the bar.

Their wings are so crispy, I think they're some of the best wings I've had. I also highly recommend their Tokyo Ramen. The chicken thighs in the ramen are crispy and have great flavor. I only wish there was more broth because it was so yummy. Food came out fast and service was great.

Amazing Japanese spot!!…read more Once you enter, you are met with a huge seating area including a bar where you can only get drinks. Most people in there are waiting for a table inside the main restaurant. Once we got called back, we sat at another bar area where you can see the kitchen. Very interesting layout. We started with the famous domu wings and I seriously will be thinking about the wings until I go back. So much flavor in those things. I love that the noodles are made in house so I wanted to try the ramen of course. I got the Richie Rich ramen which was tasteful but I wish you could choose to add some spice in it. Still great though. My sister got the tonkotsu with black garlic and she almost ate the entire thing. Also got some shishito peppers and that was also just as good as everything else. I kept seeing the lychee martini being ordered to I got that and it was as good as everyone mentioned. It does have popping boba at the bottom which I loved but I know not everyone likes it so just an fyi. My sister got the Roddy pom. The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.

I don't feel they do a great job explaining their menu to people who are unfamiliar with udon, especially cuz there are no pictures for them to see what they're ordering. It was fine for me as I'm super familiar with Japanese food. We got tempura udon, which is something I've been craving, and they did a great job. I highly recommend it. We didn't feel like a cocktail so I got an iced tea and he got a viet coffee but they served it in a cocktail glass so it was such a small amount... def shoulda been served in a tall glass, cuz why do I have to be slowly sipping that c'mon. The service was good. They were all friendly and courteous. Oh, parking is a nightmare. There's a lot in the back but you'll be lucky to find a spot. There's street parking but that's also crazy. Def not their fault but just be aware. All in all a nice place. I'd def come back again for their food.

Of the zensai (appetizers), I've tried the Tatsuta-Age, which was pretty tasty. Hot and crispy with good flavor. The udon is also top notch. They make it in house. Perfect chewy texture, what Taiwanese would call "QQ" I realized after my second visit that I still have not tried an udon with hot broth. I've tried the Spicy Miso Tan-Tan Udon, which was quite tasty, although a little on the richer/heavier side. I have also tried the Mentaiko Tsukimi Udon which was refreshing in the cold broth. I paired it with an add-on of sliced beef, which was delicious, they serve it on the side so you can add to whatever dish on your own. What I wouldn't recommend... The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. I would be interested to see any updates they've made recently but with so many new restaurants on Mills, I may choose those first.
