The restaurant is located in a very nice location. It's clean & beautiful. Our waitress was so friendly, helpful & kind. The menu is long, but simple & easy to understand. Just can't make it 5 stars because the food was kinda mid. For sashimi, we got salmon, white tuna, scallops, sweet shrimps & eel. Only salmon tasted right, the others just pretty forgettable. The sushi rolls were actually pretty good. They had a distinct and unique flavor, rather than being generic like other AYCE restaurants. Mussels were great. Takoyaki & chicken katsu was a bit too salty. Fried rice was too oily. Udon soup w/ roasted pork was good, recommended order it when you almost done with the meal. The small coffee cake dessert in the dessert bar was lowkey good. Overall, I think this restaurant is doing great, especially with the price they offer now is a great deal.

Taste: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I think I found one of my new favorite all you can eat sushi spots! Instead of buffet style, you order your rolls and they're brought fresh to the table. If you're not a sushi fan, they have plenty of other options on the menu, like hibachi, noodle or rice bowls, and tempura dishes. Everything had a very nice presentation and came out quickly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Lunch $21.95 Monday to Friday: 11:00am to 3:30pm Dinner $34.95 Saturday & Sunday All Day Dinner

I was very excited to see another AYCE location opening so close to home. We are big fans of Sushi Yama, but hate the drive. The food was not bad, but the quality was not as good as other places we've tried. The sushi rolls were nicely presented, as well as the other dishes. However, I don't think there was anything that stood out. The dessert selection was interesting, some of the items didn't match the display description, but if you're a regular at these types of establishments, you knew what they were. They also had two types of fruit. They did have the tiramisu squares that I like, which was nice. I thought it was interesting that they had strawberries in their dish decor, but not as a dessert item. They did have three flavors of ice cream, but it was the style of the little cup cartons. Our server was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed in terms of our orders and our drinks. Inside it is very pretty with these fishes attached to the walls where they seemed to be swimming around the whole place. The bathroom was nice and clean. Overall, I think Ocean Buffet is a better option in the area since they have better tasting items (although less sushi choices), but Sushi Yama is still in our top ranking for sushi + quality. They do have a lunch special, so maybe that would be a nice value if you're looking to get a mix of items.

Wake up Orlando! A new sushi spot just dropped! This used to be the bar Aroggahs, which wasn't really popular. They have a good all you can eat menu! The portions are perfect to get a good taste of everything. They have a nice variety of sushi rolls and nigiri as well as hot tasting items from the kitchen. The food quality is fresh and delicious! Everything had a good flavor! I can definitely see coming back!

My coworker and I had a great time trying Sushi Island for the first time today. We got the Dinner which was about $35 each not including drinks. I liked that the menu had a ton of options and that it was made fresh to order. We got all sorts of stuff and everything was pretty good. We got there at 5 pm so there was still plenty of seating but it started to get busy when we left around 6 pm. For apps, we ordered takoyaki, egg rolls, gyoza, shumai and calamari and a ginger house salad for each of us. Everything was great but I think the calamari was my favorite. My friend got a shrimp roll, a shrimp tempura oil and 2 crunch rolls. I ordered 1 California handroll, a single massage sushi, 2 tuna and 2 salmon sashimi, a shrimp udon and chicken hibachi. The salmon sashimi was my favorite and I could've probably eaten another two , but the handroll was a close second. Unfortunately the chicken hibachi didn't arrive until after dinner.

I definitely recommend giving this place a try! There's a great variety of menu items to choose from like fried appetizers, seafood appetizers, hand rolls, and even udon which I want to try in the future. We usually go for eel, salmon, shrimp, and some fun rolls. Everything tasted fresh, and I even loved the tuna tartare which I usually don't prefer because tuna tends to taste fishy to me. I also liked the eel much better than other places. Lastly, the sushi came with the perfect amount of rice. For the price and friendly service I'd say this is in the top 2 contenders for my go to sushi spots. :)

Went for lunch pre Valentine's Day with hubby to avoid the craziness of the weekend. Decor is nice. Space is ample and tastefully done. The middle section with all the tables has cafeteria vibes but there are booths as well. We tried a variety of things. Salmon tar tar was good Hand rolls were good. Skip the spicy kani that was awful Tuna tataki was standard Fat boy roll was good. Spicy girl roll was great Baby tiger roll was not a hit perhaps if they offered fresh salmon instead of smoked it would be better They have a real baby changing table in the female restroom rather than one of those plastic drop downs. They have 4 sushi chefs and things come out fairly quick.

If you're looking for a fun all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Orlando, Sushi Island definitely gives me the same vibes as Sushi Yama -- endless sushi, appetizers, and even hibachi options that make it perfect for groups or when you come in really hungry. The sushi was pretty decent and honestly not bad at all for the pricing. Not the freshest fish around but it's not bad. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, and food came out surprisingly fast even when it was busy. My favorite was the eel as always --flavorful, and consistently good. The cucumber salad tasted super fresh and refreshing, and I also loved the variety of soups available: miso, clear mushroom, and clam soup were all comforting starters. One of the coolest parts is the all-you-can-eat ice cream and dessert bar with fruit. I do wish there were a few more dessert options, but overall it's still a fun concept and a nice way to end the meal. There were tons of hand rolls, specialty rolls, and different fish cuts to choose from, so it never felt repetitive. Overall, great environment, great service, and definitely a place I would recommend and come back to again!

Came back again and it's still just as good. The rolls were fresh and packed with fish, and I really appreciate that the nigiri has a generous cut of fish with a smaller portion of rice for an ayce place. You can tell they care about presentation too everything looks so nice. Service was friendly and attentive as always.

This NEW all you can eat sushi restaurant in my backyard SUSHI ISLAND had to check it out. From the minute I walked in I was greeted with a smile. Ethan was super polite and guided me through the menu. I came for lunch on a Tuesday and it was buzzing with people around noon. The food was extremely fresh and delicious The restaurant and bathrooms were extremely clean. Nice atmosphere as well. For sure I'll be coming back with friends. This was a total random lunch in Winter Park. They had plenty of parking as well. Again I went for lunch on a Tuesday, I imagine they are packed for dinner. If looking for an all you can eat place to try lunch or dinner sushi this is your best option.

Service was good, Our first time here and the food was good And not too far from where we stay! Def worth a try! The manager greeted us multiple times and ensure our time was good and the place was very modern and clean

This new spot immediately became a favorite for me last night. They did everything right! The staff was super friendly and greeted you with a smile as soon as you walk in. The decor was super modern and clean, great lighting and comfortable seating however, some of the tables were pretty close together. All you can eat sushi, table service for $34.95 is unheard of! The presentation exceeded my expectations! Every dish came out looking like a piece of art! It was so beautiful and tasted even more delicious! My favorites were the spicy kani salad, shumai, yellowtail and octopus sashimi. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish and trying new things. The sake flight is a must!! I loved everything I tried. But my faves were the yuzu sparkling and the pineapple(see pix). There was ample parking and we were seated right away on a Friday evening. I am so happy we got to try this place before theh explode even more ! They put so much care in to their food and the upkeep of the restaurant. I saw the manager overseeing everything and making sure that the service , cleanliness and presentation were all up to par. I can't wait to go back and bring more friends and family!

I love this place for many reasons. It's close to my home and very clean and stylistic in design. It's very similar to Sushi Yama in concept for this AYCE. However, the food quality is much better than I expected. The hosts are friendly and the server was attentive and warm. I've eaten there 3 times since it opened. The price is competitive to other sushi AYCE, and they do offer a lunch menu. Everything tastes fresh whether it's sushi or hot food items. My favorites are the Shrimp Tempura Udon, Teppan Shrimp, and most of the appetizer dishes like Jalapeno Yellowtail, Baked Mussels, Kani salad and even the sushi rolls. I tend to get the sashimi and there's a decent selection for dinner. Even the presentation for my sashimi was well done! The dessert is limited but you'll be too stuffed to eat it. Is it the best sushi? Better than other AYCE, but if you want spectacular sushi, you're better off going to an elevated sushi bar. However, for the value and freshness, this is the best option on this side of town. I hope they continue to stay consistent in quality. There's plenty of parking as they have their own lot. It's close to Full Sail and Semoran Blvd.

Our server Michelle was very nice and offered good input to our questions about the dishes. We also had the honor to talk with Chef Henry Moso- we had a great conversation about the sushi and he even presented us with a dish. Grateful and delighted! kabooki's quality and execution of the dishes are a work of art! Both times we sat at sushi table and watched all the sushi chefs doing their magic was a great show. We started with the hamachi carpaccio and the beef carpaccio and both were chefs kiss We had the bluefin tasting which was great progression of variety of bluefin. Mauro Truffle, Kona Kampachi, leche de Tigro were tasty unique options. The use of micro greens and flowers was really pretty besides being tasty!! Definitely worth checking out!!

We almost always have Asuka as our server, and she's seriously the sweetest. She's always so welcoming and somehow always recommends something that ends up becoming a new favorite. They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

The Florida roll was GAS ! I just started getting into spicy food and spicy tuna recently and this was just perfect. The right amount of bite and the spicy tuna on top tasted so good. It seems like they mash it up, which makes it easier to chew than typical raw tuna. A great savory roll and the flavor profile was just right, adding the eel sauce was a nice touch. The Alaska Roll speaks for itself, I mean look at that mountain of crunch I got it both times I went (inadvertently). I think I got it right with the name... I was calling it the volcano roll, but that has mango sauce on it. This one has kani on top and cream cheese inside and probably shrimp tempura. I really loved this roll, like a mountain of flavor every bite. The atmosphere is small with authentic looking Japanese decor and quiet.
