My husband and I have been here only twice but both times we did take out and never have eaten in. We get however many containers we want, usually 2 and it is priced by the pound depending on what you get. We go during lunch time so the price is $4.25/lb for everything we want (no seafood) and end up leaving paying around $10.00 and having plenty of food for two meals for the both of us. Whenever we go over the always round back to the nearest 1/4 pound. It's quick and easy and is definitely worth the price. I have to mention we hate Panda Express - don't waste your money there and go to Kings instead! You will get more for your money! read more

This place is soooo bad! Their deserts are trash and the bathroom smelt like poop and there was a bug in the sink if you want to eat good don't come here cause I got some sushi and the tuna was dry and hard! 10/10 would NOT recommend. read more

I like this place a lot. I've only been once so far but my experience was a good one. The House Special Chicken was my favorite dish, made me feel like Ego taking his first bite of Remi's ratatouille. They have a ton to choose from! You'd probably have to go back a few times if you wanted to try everything. I'll be looking forward to my next visit. read more

I heard so many great things about King Buffet. I love Chinese food & I was really excited to try it. First of all, the food was not as great as I thought it would be. Very dry, kind of dirty, and the egg drop soup was so oily. The chicken was alright. Second, we went on a day where it was very slow. There were maybe 2 other couples besides us. But, it took 20 minutes for my water to be refilled when the waitress had passed us so many time. Yes, I did speak up - but was ignored continuously. She was also very rude & made my first experience at King's Buffet, unfortunately my last. First impressions are a big thing for me. My reason for 2 stars. I would not come back. read more

For the price of the meal you really can't beat it. Decorated very nicely inside. Oddly though the lights over some of the tables have the Eiffel Tower. Other than that it's a great place and we will be going there more often. There is plenty of space to move around which I found a huge plus. All that said keep in mind it's a buffet not gourmet. read more

If the servers could hold back for a little more than 10 minutes so we can sit and enjoy the tasty food and a good conversation. After 8 minutes of dining the server asked if we were done soon. They hover about 3 yards back and watched us closely and not even 5 minutes after the server gave us our check which makes us uncomfortable. Relax, people want to come and enjoy their dining experience. Bad Service ruins it. read more

Nothing was great. Some was bad. Typical stuff yourself of mediocre food buffet. Service was good and prompt. The variety is amazing but loses its luster when some of the food sucks. Steer clear of the sweet and sour chicken and tempura sushi. The nigiri sushi was good other than it was drying out as it was sitting on the buffet for a long time. read more

I've been a few times now and it's always been a pleasant experience. This place has a huge variety--something for everyone. I was especially impressed by all the seafood, which is hard to pull off in a land-locked state. It's mostly shellfish, but it's all pretty good. Try the oysters. The Mongolian BBQ station is great, but not as extensive as other places. I wish they had more sauce options for it. I wasn't too impressed by the sushi. But that's the beauty of a buffet. I also like the wide variety of food that they provide. This place is great to suggest when going to eat with picky people because there is an option for everyone. Our group arrived for dinner and the restaurant was very busy. There were so many of us that we tried most of everything except the Mongolian grill. Most of the item were ok, but there were moldy fruit, spoiled squid, various Chinese dishes that were barely warm. While they had a large variety we agreed that the quality of the food was not there. King Buffet offers Mongolian Grill, Sushi, and Chinese Buffet. It's not bad, but I think right now that there are other places I'd rather eat for each of these. The mongolian grill choices were limited, especially in terms of saucing options where there were only "mongolian" "low mein sauce" and "teriyaki" along with minced garlic, minced ginger, hot sauce and soy sauce. The celery was also a big turnoff, cut into two-to-three inch logs rather than slices and looked a bit brown. No onions or scallions, no baby corn, no bok choy, etc. Shrimp, two kinds of beef (unless one was a pork but both quite red), and chicken. I prefer both the Hu Hot locations as well as Mongolian Grill in Springville when I'm in the mood for mongolian grill; this would not meet my needs. Chinese buffet is probably King Buffet's strength, but I think for Chinese buffet, I prefer the buffet in American Fork by the Target. King Buffet offers one island of "deep fried foods" like egg/spring rolls, deep fried shrimp, deep fried battered chicken, French Fries, cheese sticks, chicken on a stick, etc. My son who is picky on protein usually eats a lot of chicken on a stick at the AF buffet, but wouldn't eat it here, so for our family, that was a big loss. Another island of what I consider "Chinese food." The green beans were quite good, the other choices were ok, but nothing stood out too much (I remember Broccoli Beef, Broccoli Chicken, Jalapeno Chicken, Thai Chicken, General Tso Chicken, a Seafood/shrimp dish, and the Seafood Casserole (with shells)). There were another two islands which included among other things rolls, dumplings, two kinds of noodles (thin and lo mein style), white rice and ham fried rice. King Buffet also offers perhaps a nicer selection of "salad bar," fruit/jello, and cookies. What I particularly missed at King buffet was the sweet walnut shrimp, the little pork shumai, and the wontons you could add yourself to soup. In particular the wontons in King Buffet's soup were kind of thick and gluey. I think the addition of a couple more (or better) Chinese entree options instead of the wide variety of deep fried brown things might win me over to King Buffet. Really nice features at King Buffet that were not my cup of tea include a big selection of seafood. If you love shellfish and are used to dishes where you remove the exoskeleton yourself or dig the meat out of shells, you will probably prefer King Buffet. Crab/mussel/crustacean type options abound. Another feature is the chocolate fountain, with nice strawberries and marshmallows to eat with (although I have fears about it becoming gross after the location has been open awhile). They have both soft serve yogurt and the same little ice cream cups like at the AF buffet. They also offer a peanut brittle which was tasty. I quite liked the variety of sushi they offered, quite a number of rolls, and I really liked the bottles of spicy mayo and eel sauce on hand that you could apply yourself. They also offered a seaweed salad and another salad I couldn't identify in that section. But the sushi itself was (unsurprisingly given price point) of mediocre quality. My biggest annoyance was that the soda was an additional purchase and that the waitstaff did not offer any refills or check on us at all. I got refills by calling over or approaching waitstaff and asking. But I waited a long time with an empty cup on the table before I finally took action myself. read more

I saw a worker, at the Mongolian grill, touch the raw meat paper, then proceeding to touch the handles on a spatula and then grab my plate and put the food on the plate. Also In the restroom I saw a girl come out of a stall and then walk right out the door,touching the handle, without washing her hands. there we're no paper towels, just the stupid air dryers, to prevent me from touch the door in any way. Terrible rude waiters!! Me and my family came here today and in the beginning it was fine. when we were about done eating we paid and left a tip we were waiting for my nephew to finish his fruit. we had a female waitress she took the tip before we even finished eating!! then a random guy waiter came and got mad because we didn't leave a big enough tip and wouldn't leave or stop staring at us we left a 10% tip because we only got one and a half refills while we were there not even a full two!! Not to mention the entire time him and our waitress kept looking at us eat making really uncomfortable direct eye contact while I was trying to eat and enjoy my family time!! He wanted the biggest amount suggested tip he wasn't even our waiter!!!! he wouldn't leave and kept pointing at the biggest tip suggestion on the receipt we left 15% so he would leave us alone I honestly wish we would have left them nothing for how rude they were I just wanted the guy to get out of our way! we called them to complaint and got hung up on twice worst waiters and customer service ever my family and I will never eat here again! read more

This places food looked good on yelp and online line and it had some good reviews; but my boyfriend and I came here and their food wasn't all that it seemed, sushi was warm some of their other fish was poorly cooked; seems like the only good thing was their chocolate fountain and fruit. That, that was fresh. My boyfriend did however enjoy the Mongolian BBQ part he said that was good. read more

This had became a New family favorite!! So many choices to choose from and the food was delicious!! The sesame seed balls and chocolate cake is amazing!! My brother loved the sushi that they make right in front of you, and my grandma loved all the sea food. And the best part is it's cheep. We had three adults and a three year old and it was under $40!! Not bad for all the sea food we ate. We all had at least two plates. The employees were super nice! We will definitely be back! The service was okay. The food was terrible and made me and my boyfriend feel awful after eating. Most of the food was cold and old. Hardly any of the food had actually flavor to it. I tried a lot of things from the buffet and not one of them was pleasing to the stomach. Never going back here. Had good claw machines tho. read more

We came in 2 hours before closing. Everyone was already cleaning, our waitress seemed bothered that we were there. Probably 15 minutes in she comes and gives us our ticket, then my mom was still finishing up what she had left in her plate, but she literally waited behind my mom with her hand next to her plate ready to take it away. As soon as my mom put the last of her food in her fork she grabs and takes the plate away, well not take. More like jank it away !! Everyone's priority was cleaning even though it was still at lest and hour and half until closing time, they didn't see the water they spilled and my son slipped, manager just said sorry. & you guess it putting a wet floor sign obviously wasn't as important as cleaning up and hour before closing time. At 9:15 she comes and says is the money ready ? I'll take it. Thats when I asked her what time they closed she said 10. I said we still have 45 minutes left, all she said was I don't care. She was so rude about it. That's when I grabbed my receipt and saw she was charging us for 7 drinks, when we only ordered 4. When I told her about that too she got mad and just walked away, brought back out receipt and said I'll take money now. I was so annoyed at his point. All I wanted to do was leave.
