Been twice, went a 2nd time to give another shot. I paid for 2lb of crawfish, 1 lb shrimp, 1 sausage, recieved only 1 lb crawfish, and zero potato. How do you mess that up? I got a medium sauce and the sauce is not flavorful, all i taste and see is straight garlic. Both times i went crawfish and shrimp were so over cooked you couldnt even PEEL the shell off the SHRIMP or crawfish tail doesnt slide out AT ALL. When that should be super simple. Your playing tug a wore with your food your entire meal, making the seafood just crumble into crumbs. Now i will never be going back. I've had the killer calamari from the Dallas location and it was the best calamari I've ever had so I was craving their calamari and I was near Arlington and decided to try the location out there, HUGE let down. Dry and super chewy/rubbery nor was it hot and fresh. Sent that shit back cause it tasted old. I also tried the bangin boudin balls and they were mid. Nothing great about it except the dipping sauce which is the same dipping sauce for the calamari. Service was great tho, my waiter was excellent. I have no hard feelings toward him. He removed the calamari from my ticket without me having to ask which was nice. But the chef or cook in the back needs to do better. He know he wrong for sending that bs out. Went here today, I ordered the mix n match. The catfish had hair deep fried between the crust and fish. The waiter took the piece back to the back to the manager. Offered a replace fish or to remove the fish from the check. Spoke to manager and just asked for a refund. The food is just not good either. I've been to 2 other locations and this food is not like the others. The hush puppies are burnt and very small. The fish was slimy as well. read more

I would give this place a 2/10! The service was decent for as the waiter. The oysters were okay, The crab was over cooked and I do mean literally over cooked nasty. They only have wet sauce ,no dry seasoning to dip,the butter was nasty not sure how you have nasty butter but my gosh! I couldn't wait to get home and brush my teeth, nasty taste left, overall didn't finish the food! The catfish taste funny so we didn't eat all of that! Soooo...I've been living in Texas for a little over a year and haven't had a ton of great eating experiences. As I was leaving my massage and starving I ran across this restaurant on Yelp. Called to confirm pricing and decided to order the Bering sea. About 12 minutes later I pulled up, went inside and grabbed my order. It was in a bag versus plate which threw me off a bit but I was still trusting lol I got home, opened the bag and bit into the first potato...I swear the heavens opened up. When I tell you, flavorful with just a hint of spice. I'm mad they only had one in there. However, for $27 I was extremely satisfied and really full. The crab cluster was great, it was a ton of shrimp, sausage cooked perfectly and like I mentioned the potato was scrumptious. The oysters on the half shell are huge and delicious! The cajun garlic parmesan oysters were some of the best we've ever had. Amazing flavor! My wife had the garlic noodles with lobster; very generous with the lobster and the garlic! I have the New England lobster roll w/ cajun fries. Spot on! But since the other couple couldn't handle the spice level, hubs and I had enough leftover for a full meal the next day! Unfortunately, the other couple's shrimp were overcooked and powdery. They hesitated to say anything because it was very busy and there was a huge crowd building at the front. But our sweet waitress happily took it back and continued to check on our friends' satisfaction after bringing them their perfectly re-done order. The kids' chicken flanks looked over-fried, but the batter turned out to be pliable and the inside tender. If I could rate my experience here a zero I would. I am a huge fan of the crab station in Carrollton, and The Colony. When we moved to Arlington I was ecstatic because there was a Crab station location here. The crawfish that they have that is "live" you may only get a few crawfish That aren't soggy and look like they have been frozen. We order flame thrower every time, and literally they don't make it anything like the other locations. It's supposed to be the second spiciest on menu, and it was not spicy at all. If anything the flavor was disgusting. The service is TERRIBLE! WE spent $100 bucks and were our servers only table. You would think she would at least ask how we were doing! I went to go wash my hands at the end, and the bathroom was so disgusting. I wanted the puke. Excrement on the toilet, and towels all over floor. This place is just sad. I will never return. This is my go to seafood spot. Very affordable! They have went up on prices a couple dollars within the 2yrs i've been going. The seafood is flavorful with butterfly shrimp making it easier to peel and eat. Try adding garlic noodles to your boil. Typically no wait time and food comes out quickly. Setting: The restaurant itself looks pretty nice at first glance like a legit 'crab shack' feel to it. We got our temps checked before we were seated and once we sat down it was obvious that the restaurant was not as clean as it had seemed. There was stuff all over the floor. At some point, my boyfriend's (cloth) mask fell to the ground and when he picked it up a giant dusty hairball had clung to it and the whole mask was super dusty (he did not wear that mask again that evening). Food and service: All the staff was VERY young and quite honestly all looked pretty lost when we came in. When I checked in on the Yelp app, I got a $5 margarita offer (normally $9). Me to server: "could I please get a Mango Margarita?" and showed her the deal on my phone. She looked lost. Server to me: "uh... sure. What flavor would you like?" (face palm). Well once we settled that I went ahead and ordered the lobster roll which came with cajun fries and a separate order of hushpuppies. Boyfriend ordered Dungenesse crab with corn, sausage and potato (it's the meal that comes in a bag). Well something looked... odd about my lobster roll. It didn't register until I picked at the meat... it was CRAB! I called the server over and pointed it out. He agreed with me, but then came back and said "the cook says it's lobster." HUH?! I'm staring at straight crab leg meat right now! I'm not saying it wasn't good, but don't give me crab if I asked for lobster. I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! I think it's a rip-off and they assume that people don't know the difference. So wrong. I didn't want to fuss about it too much so I let it go. The crab boil itself was pretty good. A little on the salty side for me but definitely very flavorful. As we ate, one of the lost-looking servers came up and told us our food was coming right out. We looked at her questioningly because we were already eating our food. She told us "your Oysters will be out shortly." We're like "we didn't order any oysters." Y'all, not 10 mins later, one VERY lost-looking server comes out with a tray of oysters about to hand them to us. Like we just told you we didn't order oysters. She proceeded to walk around the restaurant asking each table if they ordered them until she found the table which had! It was comical. First of all everyone treated us well, we arrived for lunch on Sunday, the place was about half full. We told our waiter this was our first time in the restaurant, he explained very little of the menu. We love your competition "The Boiling King Crab", but we wanted to see if this place was better or worst. We ordered a pound of shrimp and a pound of snow-crab, it was cooked right and seasoned well also. It look longer than we are used at the BKC, and came alone, (to our surprise) potatoes and corn are extra. If we order protein only, (to our waiter) why not offer the customer a side dish? Or emphasize that I didn't order potatoes, corn or sausage. So we ordered two potatoes and a corn. And since they were ordered separate, we got undercooked (very small potatoes) and one cold corn (refrigerated cold corn half). And I suggest you tell the customer they are only getting half a corn and the potatoes are tiny, so they can order more, it was only enough for a small chi Your prices are fair but it's very disappointing to get charged for corn and potatoes when every restaurant in the city serves vegetables or other sides with their dishes, especially when I'm paying that much. Didn't know of I would find a decent seafood place in Arlington, but it's here! The Crab Station has lots to choose from po' boy sandwiches to buckets of mixed seafood. I placed a to-go order in person for a Lobster roll with Cajun fries and the bacon Rockefeller oysters. The oysters had lots of spinach, cheese, and bacon bits all over, very good. They even packed them in salt stones! The Lobster roll was loaded! It had just enough sauce to not overpower the lobster, which is a mistake most restaurants do. It was delicious! Not too chewy, or undercooked. The Cajun fries were just the right spice and not too hot. It was pretty busy for a holiday, but the food looked great. I'll definitely be back with the family to make sure they give their opinions, too! This location had horrible food. We got a sack 5, octopus, cajun fries, rice, 2 kids meal chicken strip baskets, and 2 bread puddings. We assumed the food would be just as good as the Dallas location but sadly we were mistaken. The octopus came out and it was lukewarm and super rubbery. The shrimps, crawfish, crab, corn, and potatoes that came in sack #5 were all lukewarm as well. In addition to the food coming out lukewarm the seasonings tasted horrible. Everything that came in sack #5 was hard to get out of the shell like it had either been sitting there in the warm water or it was overcooked or hell it could've even been microwaved. The bread pudding was horrible! I took one bite and put it down. It just tasted BAD. The chef either wasn't there and they were just bringing out food that was sitting there or the chef just didn't know what they were doing. Our server Mary was nice but for a sever to be good they need to be more than just nice. They need to be able to be nice and make sure they bring out fresh high quality food. I get we came an hour before close and maybe we should've came earlier but, we've came an hour before close at the Dallas location and the food was still spectacular there. Why would it not be the same quality when it's the same restaurant just different location? Idk what they did to our food but we got sick for 2 days straight after eating that food. And we couldn't even eat it all because it was so bad so who knows how sick we would've been if we tried to eat all of it. Shame on y'all Crab Station Arlington. Pleasantly surprised! I love boiled shrimp and foodies they've got it! The menu is a Cajun approach to seafood and served on a table that you can make a big mess on and be done with it! Fried shrimp and chicken planks were great with white meat tenders covered in a crunchy crust. Cooked just right! Third strike: When the waitress finally came over and we tried to order, she said they ran out of live crawfish! Honestly rated this a 3 star due to the service. We were there on Mother's Day because it's my wife's favorite spot. We also brought my grandparents along so I could buy their lunch. The food was amazing as always so don't worry about that. Service: Our waitress seemed bothered every time she came to the table. We sat without drinks forever and when we would ask she was so dismissive of us like we were putting her out. Very disappointing that on Mother's Day my wife and grandmother were treated this way. We were there for Mother's Day this Sunday and it was very obvious that they are short staffed and the current staff doesn't work as a team to clean off empty tables after customers leave because there were several dirty tables some stayed dirty from the time we arrived to wait to be seated and were even dirty after we left (we were there approx 2 hours or so). There was a long wait for no reason other than laziness and lack of maybe one or two more employees that could have been temp hired for this busy weekend. Now on to the food. We ordered oysters on the half shell and they were delicious other than the fact that it had several broken pieces of shell all over them. They could have given them a good rinse before bringing them out. Then we ordered sack # 1 since it was our first time there and weren't sure of the quality or flavor and I was happy with my decision. The crawfish and shrimp were cooked perfect but needed a little extra something to make me go wow. I've been to other places that just have way more flavor.
