I don't know if it's the quality of meat that they used but I seen black spots throughout the meat. I didn't really pay attention to how much my meal cost but when I checked my receipt, I paid $14.00 for my meal and $4.00 for the cake. This is very expensive for the portions they offer but I tried to overlook it since this is their grand opening. There are other soulfood restaurants in the area that offer huge portions for 2-3 days and everything is made from scratch. Hopefully, they will take this into consideration and make changes to their pricing and make all items from scratch. FYI- Check before you come if you are looking for a specific menu item. I will probably come back if I am in the area and have a taste for a slice of pound cake but I will pass on the food. They are about a 45 minute trip. Customer service is excellent.
