I had a fantastic time at this crab boil restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Our waiter was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed. Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend! And to top it off it's never packed. I also love the Christian music they play. They don't sell beer. Which sometimes I love because I have 3 children all under 7 years of age. I see a lot of complaints about customer service in the reviews. I was nice to the staff that was working and asked for extra things that I needed. It wasn't the best customer service I've had, but it wasn't the worst customer service I've had. I'm from the service industry, so I understand. The only suggestion I have for the staff is when you stack to-go items, please don't stack the heavy boiled food onto the plastic fried food. It squishes the food. The crawfish flavor medium was decent. I'd go back. I love crawfish so I've had a lot of different places, so i have my favorites. This one seems to be the closest one to me. This place is ok. The food taste pretty good and it is a great alternative to The Boiling Crab. The location holds up the end of a strip mall opposite of Walmart. The space is roomy and you can smell all the yummy seasonings in the air. The corn is sweet and tender. The potatoes are soft and great when dipped in the bag of seasoned-goodies. The crawfish and shrimp are a good size and seasoned well. Everything is ok but don't bring your appetite! The portions are tiny! A 1/2lb shrimp = 5 shrimp and 1lb of crawfish = 10 crawfish! I returned the next couple of days to discuss my order after the manager failed to call me back. I spoke with Jr who admitted that the shrimp order was short but the crawfish was guaranteed right‍. So one mistake can be made but not another? WTH? He then proceeded to attempt to go back & forth about it after I told him twice I wasn't going to argue with him about this! I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered from this restaurant via Door Dash. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, shrimp basket and catfish basket. First, let me state that each order came with a side of delicious and seasoned fries. The fries are not spicy, which is good for me since I hate spicy foods. They have a nice seasoned coating on them. The lemon pepper wings were maybe a little on the small side but were well seasoned. The shrimp were HUGE and had a nice light coating on them. I think the coating was a seasoned flour based coating. It was divine.The catfish also had a rather light seasoned coating. It had great flavor and the filets were a nice size. My husband and I were in the area and saw the sign for the Louisiana Crab Shack. We were waiting to get an appointment at the nail spa a few doors down and figured we would grab a bite to eat while we waited. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a friendly host who quickly sat us. He told us that drinks were complimentary with our food (yes, even margaritas and daquiris!) and asked us what we would like drink. We ordered a margarita each, and were pleasantly surprised when they brought out our drinks. The drinks were large, presented well, and strong :) Once we decided what we wanted to eat, our waitress took our order. Not too long afterwards, she brought out our food, but only brought half of our order. We had ordered crawfish, shrimp, corn, and potatoes, but our bag was lacking the shrimp. We pointed this out to her. She admitted that she had made a mistake, and promised our shrimp would be out shortly. About 10 minutes later the rest of our food came out. All of the food was delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned well. There were a few other parties in the restaurant at the time and we noticed that some of the parties who were seated before us didn't receive their food until way after us. I'm not sure why that was, but our wait time for our food was about right. We would definitely come back to eat here or even order takeout! For reference, seafood is listed as "market price" on the menu. The crawfish came out to $8.95/lb and the tiger shrimp was $14.95/lb. Enjoy! read more
