    Half clean tables.

I've always had decent experiences at Razzoo's. However this night was terrible. As soon as you walk in this establishment, there seems to be dirty tables everywhere you looked. That we decided to order to go instead.

We went there on Saturday afternoon to take advantage of the secret menu special that we were sent via text. The service was extremely slow and for only a couple of items off the dollar menu, it took an hour to get our food and drink. But that's not why I don't recommend this business. My bill was $5.42, I gave my server a $20 bill, she brought me back a 10 and four singles... When I asked where my 58 cents was, I was told "oh we don't do change" I told her to consider that her tip. If a business is going to go to this kind of policy, then it needs to be in the customer's favor. Otherwise they need to cough up the money they owe me. I realize 58 cents is not the end of the world for me, but it's the point of the matter. Look how much they're making on every person every day doing this.

Came out on a Wednesday night to celebrate a 37yr anniversary & staff on hand has been so helpful and quick! Our server Adrian is a fuckinn Rockstar!!! Very helpful, very attentive & extremely friendly. We absolutely love it here at The Mesquite location! Best Crawfish evaaaaa

I placed an order for the CREOLE PORK CHOPS without the jalapeño sauce. I am not feeling well today but I know I need to eat. I ordered for dessert the KEY LIME PIE . I initially chose no whipped cream changed my mind and it melted in transit. Food is always A+ for this Louisiana native

The food was so good... I went in not knowing what to expect and came out a customer for life. the food was great, our waiter was on point And the food came out so fast it scared me But the food was fresh and hot. I believe my favorite dish of the night was the blackened fish Po Boy. I'll finish up by saying that I've only dined in once and I've only ever been into one location so experiences may vary. *Poor *Decent *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Food. Great Service. So where should I start...Hmmm let me start by saying Mmmm and Mmmm. The Boudin Balls had the right amount of spice nicely fried and oh so good. Hubby had the Cajun Combo Skillet this meal came with Grilled andouille, shrimp Creole, crawfish e'touf'ee, red beans & garlic toast. He truly enjoyed his meal and I enjoyed tasting all of it. Lol. My meal I had the Hurricane Salmon which is Grilled salmon fillet brush with sweet & spicy Hurricane glaze. I substituted the mash potatoes for beans & rice and corn on the cob. Razzoos someone is doing something so right in that kitchen. Everything was wonderful. This was our first stop while visiting Mesquite/Dallas and I'm so glad we came here first. Ohh and have to mention Jesus our waiter was great. Had to edit my review because forgot to say please do not leave without trying the Bread Pudding! Perfectly made I tell you perfectly made!

We went to eat on national Margarita day so I expected it to be very busy. When we got there we were immediately seated. The drinks and the food was good. The lunch portion of the pasta was just what I needed. The bread pudding was very good and was just enough to share. I will be back.

This much for 1 person and crappy service... the food was cold when it arrived
    Lola A.

I visited this restaurant at 4 PM and I was extremely disappointed in the service and the ignorance of the wait staff that ignored me, but when white patrons arrived, they were able to get seated and get their food while before I did, despite the fact that I had been here waiting first for over 15 minutes before someone would even come to my table in the bar area. In fact, I happened to notice that the waitress had to be told to come serve me by the manager, and openly displayed a bad attitude about being told to come to my table. I'm not a picky person, but when people give me reason to notice that they are trying to avoid serving me or helping, I think that it becomes obvious that I need to write the post for a review. I had waited unattended for 15 minutes before getting a glass of water on the table while sitting at a booth in the bar area. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy. It just makes the over all experience horrible and I am disappointed and wish I hadn't come here. After I watched several white patrons get their food and appetizers before me, I had to say something to the waitress --and then my food came. To add insult to injury the food was completely cold, and it ruined my appetite. The waitress didn't come check on me either, so I packed the cold food and asked for the check. This is just not a place that I think respect diversity and when they see a black face, they just think that it's going to be a not positive experience. I didn't get my food until 4:45 pm and there was nobody in the restaurant. Contrast to popular belief, black patrons are very classy and respectful, and it just seen my Fay have a problem with serving blacks at this location . I hate being treated otherwise. This place gets a thumbs down and it's just not a place that I would frequently give my business .

We had a large group and there was a long wait to get a table, to get our drink order, and then finally our food order. The restaurant is similar to Applebees or Chili's - just an average "fern bar" type restaurant. There weren't many veggie options on the menu. Lots of chicken, and of course, true to the restaurant name, lots of cheese. They brought us some incredible croissants in a thick honey butter sauce. The chips and salsa appetizer comes with salsa on the side and a meaty queso. I tried the broccoli and cheese side - the portion is tiny! This is a true side and not a good substitute for a meal. Super affordable though! They really outdid themselves on the birthday cake! Rich, chocolatey, with a fudge syrup - it was delicious. And kudos to the servers for being good sports and leading the birthday song. They were great about out large party splitting the check and the electronic pay device they brought to the table made it easy.

Cheddars is a good value, big portions restaurant. Typically they are consistent and do provide a good product for a great value. Most meals are less than $20 which should be your first clue. My wife and I have eaten at Cheddars since the early 2000s and while the food quality is not what it was before they were purchased by Darden, think Olive Garden; the food is a good value.

Right away, you see a sign at the host table recommending to pay in cash; there is a $3 added fee for credit. No problemo. It has been open under Papin's for a year. Complimentary basket of chips/salsa. We began with Appetizer Trio (fresh guac, mild chile con queso blanco, shredded chicken quesadilla x4); all 3 were great tasting and we demolished it. For entrees, we ordered the Trio Combo (tamale, chicken enchilada, crispy/soft ground beef taco) rice & charro beans; 6-count Nachos Texanos appetizer (beef fajita) - these reminded me of how ceviche is served because there was fajita aplenty on top n barely notice the cheese on the individual tiny Tostadas but tender YUM; Enchiladas Texanas plate (cheese); and, 2 Tostadas plate (1 beef/1 chicken). We cleaned our plates. I was impressed the most with my Tostadas... The ground beef was THE BEST! I LOVE A MESSY TOSTADA just like a greasy burger topped off with Mexican crema & queso fresco! The Spanish rice had good flavor and the refried beans too. Service was friendly. There's only one waitress for about 3-4 tables at the time but she was sweet and we were patient. The food came out hot and fresh. The prices are very fair for the portions served. I think this is a GEM of a place and I can't wait to try ALL DAY BREAKFAST and their Huevos Rancheros. There's room for big parties to seat 20 as well and also a few booths for just 2. My only complaint is how warm it was in the restaurant.

I went there for my birthday specifically to take on the "Toddzilla Challenge"--only to find out after finishing it that the challenge no longer exists. A total of four of us ordered it, and at no point did the cashier or waitress inform us that the challenge was discontinued. The Toddzilla is still on the menu, and there's even a wall dedicated to past winners, making it seem like the challenge was still active. So, we did what any competitive eater would do--we finished every last bite, expecting to earn our place on the wall and a commemorative t-shirt. Instead, we were met with a shrug and told, "Oh yeah, that challenge isn't a thing anymore." Talk about false advertising! The biggest issue? We specifically ordered four massive $22 burgers designed not to be finished, under the assumption we were taking on a legit challenge. If the staff had simply told us beforehand, we might have reconsidered. But nope--we were left in the dark. As for the food? It was... meh. The Toddzilla is just three beef patties with three slices of cheese--no sauce, no toppings, nothing. Just dry meat and bread. Fortunately, we asked for mayo, which helped a little, but without ketchup, mustard, pickles, or onions, it was a struggle to get through. Honestly, I think this place only gets good ratings because it's a bar. And let's be real--when alcohol is involved, food tends to get rated better than it actually is.
