Fried were nice and crunch the only draw back to the sandwich was the tomatoes were soggy not crispy they looked fresh bit were dropped. The manager was DRUNK at the bar, singing loud and inappropriate lyrics to the waitresses. It felt very uncomfortable, our lovely waitress tried to keep us distracted. They had to turn off all the music because of his behavior. Then most of the staff was in and out of the side doors going into their cars hang out and come back in to check on things. The food at any shell shack I've ever been to SO FAR has for the most part always been enjoyable!! Can be a little salty but overall delicious. Like that's one thing for sure that I can say is that I've never had a complaint or dislike for anything that I've ordered in regards to flavor . Now what I can and will complain about is the quantity as well as the prices . They are so overpriced, and I swear what keeps me coming to them despite my dislike for their prices is their being open late hours, for majority of the locations are open to about 2am as well as they are the only place that I know that serves Bairdi snow crab which to me is a snow crab that taste like Dungeoness crab . But the late night hours Is the what keeps me coming . when out late leaving concerts , or late night shows, bar and or events and you're wanting something a little more fulfilling than Waffle House , IHOP, dennys etc , shell shack is still open. I received the ticket , it was a little over $90 and I thought that was a decent bill amount for 2, that is until i realized that that was just my ticket alone and that my sister had an entire bill of her own . We didn't order much at all, but learned that for what we paid in total or even separately, we definitely could have did our own seafood boil at the house and fed the entire neighborhood lol ! Went on Friday for a late lunch. The restaurant is nice and our server was cool. So, once I received my food...I was quickly reminded as to why I never returned to shell shack after trying them twice 7 years ago. The fried pickles and fries were probably the only good thing we had. -crab stuffed tator tots: bland, no seasoning whatsoever but they were cooked ok -wings: fried way too hard! I like to mix mine with my seafood boil but I couldn't enjoy them at all. -crawfish: the kitchen sink sauce was bland and not spicy at all. I'm tired of these places not cooking the crawfish in the spices or not knowing how to get the flavor inside the mud bug. And when I say spicy...I mean spicy!!! Ugh! They weren't overcooked and were a nice size so I'll give them that. I also think kids meals at any and all restaurants should come with the drink. I HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS!!!!!! It was my brother's birthday and we came to try to have a good time... For starters there was literally only 3 tables besides us, so the food should of came fast, everything we order came all at different times.. and right before we got our food the came to tell us that all the plates that came with fries since they were out we could only have hush puppies or onion rings (mind you my kids cant have either) I don't really mind things running out but I feel is something we should know ahead of time and when we asked her if we could change our plate she said no because they had already made it, and when we got our food the fries tasted horrible. It was like a leftover in the freezer kinda taste and how where you completely out but now you got some (yeah sketchy right) anyways.... I was the first one to order and last one on the whole table to get my food. I just feel like overall the experience was horrible!!!!!! Watered down really quick for whatever reason. Our waitress was hard to track down so we asked another waitress for some juice and said we had to ask our own waitress (ridiculous right?)
