Pretty dang good steak for a chain restaurant. I would say it's better than all chain steakhouses. Most chain steakhouses are sub-average or just average. This one is well above. Kuddos.

New York Strip with a side of Mac. If you're chronically online this Mac is what I imagine Tini's taste like. A good 7.6/10 for the entree.

This is one of the newer locations so the inside reflects that in terms of wear/tear, smell and overall cleanliness. No complaints there. Jam was the server I had. Their level of service was pretty good. The only critique I have is that they better pace/space out the appetizer & entree arrival, as everything came out at once. They did mention there was a situation that happened in the kitchen that could've contributed to the delay of my appetizer, but I would've halted on calling the main until that was rectified. When it comes to food everything was prepared well & tasted good. No notes. I will say I was hoping they had the crazed parmesan crusted lamb chops on the menu, but they only had their chicken dish or the option to add the crust on top of your steak. Fingers crossed that it's more of a seasonal dish that hasn't been discontinued as I'd love to try that the next time I visit.

I haven't been here in forever and OMG. Soooo good. Our waiter was quick and our food came out in like 15 minutes which is crazy. Our food was hot and super good. I already can't wait to go back.

It was our first time visiting this steakhouse & I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff at Longhorn Steakhouse! The ambiance inside was quiet and inviting, setting the tone for a great dining experience. The staff's friendly demeanor added to the overall positive vibe. *Food: 8/10* We Had The 9 oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs Combo with Mac & Cheese side & Whipped mashed potatoes. While the food was satisfying, it could've been more seasoned and flavorful. That being said, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Whether you're a steak enthusiast or exploring, Longhorn has something for everyone. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Longhorn Steakhouse for its great value and satisfying meals will be returning!

A new restaurant just opened near my job, so my coworkers and I decided to check it out for lunch. Our waitress, Laniaha, was fantastic--super attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and their lunch specials are definitely worth trying. I had the steak salad with a side of chicken tortilla soup, and both were excellent. Highly recommend--10/10!

Longhorn Steakhouse is a new and refreshing restaurant in the Mesquite area. My visit was nothing but enjoyable. All the food was tasty, but my absolute favorite was the ribeye steak! The steak was so juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection! Our server, Demond definitely reassured us seasoning was one thing their steaks were not lacking and he was right!

Should be called Longhorn Salthouse. Everything but the salad was way too salty. I mean just covered in salt. What a shame. My hungry belly loves steak but they not only destroyed mine with salt, but also overcooked my order of medium. Service is hectic and management staff seems to wander around but not really do anything. Four managers walked by our table and never said a word to us. One plus, the place is very new and looks really nice. We will try another location and see if salty is their thing or if it was a bad night for the Mesquite location.

We got a booth immediately at 7pm - shocker - but not surprised it was right next to the kitchen. On the bright side, our server appeared promptly and the drinks were on the way. I went for the Peachy Keen ($11.50), very good! I ordered a dinner salad, but when the server (Diana) asked if I wanted chicken on it, I agreed and for some reason it became a $19 salad. I was disappointed that it was 3 times the salad I wanted but it was very good. Fresh ingredients made it worth taking 3/4 of it home. I ordered the range rattlers ($16) as an app, even though I wasn't very hungry. They were hot and spicy and crunchy, with a nice piece of shrimp inside. so good! Two of the 4 went home, also. Diana was attentive, got everything right, brought my water with lemon right away, both of my peachys were delivered promptly and she kept our table clean. She even boxed up our meals and in the beginning remembered to ask if I was a rewards member, which no one does!! Two stars for that! Good service means a lot to me and I would recommend her to anyone. Actually, all the staff seemed to take their job seriously, they were all hustling. The managers were running as fast as the staff! Thanks for not letting me down, Saltgrass, even if you are in Mesquite, lol. just kidding, heehee

The staff is so friendly and seems like a family. The prices are 10% under comp eateries. It's as if the owners took the best part of all fine dining and combined them. Here it is a relaxed but respectful environment with food that you would think comes from a Michelin rated spot. The clientele is eclectic and younger. I'm 47 so I am not like those around me but can see the client base. I'm not sure if it's the minimal menu (please take this as an anti Cheesecake Factory comment) or the items compliments that are setting it apart. What I mean is the steak by itself is amazing. Truly a top 10 steak (ribeye at $48) or the accompanying sauce that it setting it apart. I advise take two to three bites from different stations of the meat. Then take the same bites with their paired glaze. Make your own decisions. You aren't telling the full story if you didn't pair it with a great house Bonanza cab (actually on happy hour except for Fridays). The verdict. This place will be one I will always take clients to when visiting Dallas. The verdict on me is that I'm a steak based reviewer so I might be wrong on all other aspects but the only likely wild card here would be the salads and seafood. I'm not here at a steakhouse for anything else. My wife can write that review. Last PS is that Dave the bartender is nice and accommodating and will let you explore the space . He is matter of fact but possibly could be a friend if not already to all. Watching Dave now live with his regulars says that he balances all customers very well. Negatives. Parking is just slightly odd. There is plenty of it and valet is free to customers. Let's not worry. No rush to get here at 5. The regulars and common come in around 6 as all others do on a Friday (this was my second night after being here for Thursday) Food has arrived. App is the carpaccio and holy shit wow. Not some boring small plate that exudes poor people suck. It's above average size like it should be . I'm not sure why the garlic bread is hear other than a nod to old school. My steak is in a to go box (nicely wrapped with utensils and yes that matters when you travel). This is my steak and if it sucks I'll remove the review. I'm kidding as it's a to go. This is a real world review. I do one long review every few years.

The Meatballs, Beef Carpaccio, Ceviche and Seared Tuna were all hits. Highly recommend sharing these. The Mains: * Ribeye: The highlight. That smoky charcoal flavor was spot on. * Lobster Risotto & Prawns: A bit of a mixed bag. The prawns were a tad too salty and the risotto lacked a bit of depth, though it was still a decent dish. The Service: Top-tier hospitality. They brought out a Sparkler Cake for my friend's birthday, which was a great touch. Verdict: Solid steak, incredible apps and even better vibes. Definitely a Dallas spot worth checking out.

Seriously. 1) the service is top tier, super friendly AND it's all family operated 2) the meats were seasoned to perfection and you can tell immediately when you taste it that it was all marinated well and cooked with lots of love! They customize the meat to your liking in terms of cooking preferences without any commentary about the way YOU like your meat. This was big for me as a well-done only eater with texture preferences and not being patronized with sassy comments for my personal tastes when I'm paying for it. My partner likes his quite the opposite, more traditionally prepared, and they HAPPILY accommodated both of our preferences! We had picanha, ribeye, sirloin, garlic steak (forgot the cut), lamb and of course grilled pineapple. There were chicken and pork offerings too that we were too full to try. I didn't get lamb at first until my partner tried it and raved about it being sooo good. So I gave in and tried it and it was so bright with flavor like fresh lemon and herbs and was tender with no gamey aftertaste! It is indeed the best lamb we have ever tried to date. Please don't forget the chimichurri sauce from the salad bar to pair with your meats! It's so fresh and flavorful, perfect to set off the grilled charred meats. They give each of you a card for you to signal to the servers if you have the green side face up that you are ready for more, or flip it to red side face up to signal you are passing on being served more for the time being. 3) the salad bar at first glance looks small but it is mighty, packed with yummy options. I had potato salad, fresh beets, marinated cucumbers, olives, candied bacon. My partner had Cesar salad, tomato soup went nicely with the cheesy bread, and other things I cannot recall. There were more selections available that we didn't have room to try, but looked equally delicious and fresh. 4) they do serve wine and dranks if you imbibe. 5) they have done well with the ambiance and interior decor for the space that it is. I don't remember which day it is, but they also have live music there one day a week. 6) we paid $40/person all you can eat during dinner service. They offer lunch service M-F as well for $25/person - great deal! 7) we went the day after my partner's birthday and our waiter brought him a huge slice of cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate - on the house! 8) please note they are closed on Mondays 9) they also offer catering services 10) this was the best Brazilian steakhouse experience that I have ever had personally, my partner agrees and we will definitely be back soon!!
