Pretty dang good steak for a chain restaurant. I would say it's better than all chain steakhouses. Most chain steakhouses are sub-average or just average. This one is well above. Kuddos.

New York Strip with a side of Mac. If you're chronically online this Mac is what I imagine Tini's taste like. A good 7.6/10 for the entree.

This is one of the newer locations so the inside reflects that in terms of wear/tear, smell and overall cleanliness. No complaints there. Jam was the server I had. Their level of service was pretty good. The only critique I have is that they better pace/space out the appetizer & entree arrival, as everything came out at once. They did mention there was a situation that happened in the kitchen that could've contributed to the delay of my appetizer, but I would've halted on calling the main until that was rectified. When it comes to food everything was prepared well & tasted good. No notes. I will say I was hoping they had the crazed parmesan crusted lamb chops on the menu, but they only had their chicken dish or the option to add the crust on top of your steak. Fingers crossed that it's more of a seasonal dish that hasn't been discontinued as I'd love to try that the next time I visit.

I haven't been here in forever and OMG. Soooo good. Our waiter was quick and our food came out in like 15 minutes which is crazy. Our food was hot and super good. I already can't wait to go back.

It was our first time visiting this steakhouse & I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff at Longhorn Steakhouse! The ambiance inside was quiet and inviting, setting the tone for a great dining experience. The staff's friendly demeanor added to the overall positive vibe. *Food: 8/10* We Had The 9 oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs Combo with Mac & Cheese side & Whipped mashed potatoes. While the food was satisfying, it could've been more seasoned and flavorful. That being said, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Whether you're a steak enthusiast or exploring, Longhorn has something for everyone. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Longhorn Steakhouse for its great value and satisfying meals will be returning!

A new restaurant just opened near my job, so my coworkers and I decided to check it out for lunch. Our waitress, Laniaha, was fantastic--super attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and their lunch specials are definitely worth trying. I had the steak salad with a side of chicken tortilla soup, and both were excellent. Highly recommend--10/10!

Longhorn Steakhouse is a new and refreshing restaurant in the Mesquite area. My visit was nothing but enjoyable. All the food was tasty, but my absolute favorite was the ribeye steak! The steak was so juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection! Our server, Demond definitely reassured us seasoning was one thing their steaks were not lacking and he was right!

Should be called Longhorn Salthouse. Everything but the salad was way too salty. I mean just covered in salt. What a shame. My hungry belly loves steak but they not only destroyed mine with salt, but also overcooked my order of medium. Service is hectic and management staff seems to wander around but not really do anything. Four managers walked by our table and never said a word to us. One plus, the place is very new and looks really nice. We will try another location and see if salty is their thing or if it was a bad night for the Mesquite location.

We had a large group and there was a long wait to get a table, to get our drink order, and then finally our food order. The restaurant is similar to Applebees or Chili's - just an average "fern bar" type restaurant. There weren't many veggie options on the menu. Lots of chicken, and of course, true to the restaurant name, lots of cheese. They brought us some incredible croissants in a thick honey butter sauce. The chips and salsa appetizer comes with salsa on the side and a meaty queso. I tried the broccoli and cheese side - the portion is tiny! This is a true side and not a good substitute for a meal. Super affordable though! They really outdid themselves on the birthday cake! Rich, chocolatey, with a fudge syrup - it was delicious. And kudos to the servers for being good sports and leading the birthday song. They were great about out large party splitting the check and the electronic pay device they brought to the table made it easy.

Cheddars is a good value, big portions restaurant. Typically they are consistent and do provide a good product for a great value. Most meals are less than $20 which should be your first clue. My wife and I have eaten at Cheddars since the early 2000s and while the food quality is not what it was before they were purchased by Darden, think Olive Garden; the food is a good value.

They were way too soggy before I even finished the first half of the first taco. I ended up stealing one of his flour tortillas to be able to eat the second taco. Which made the whole thing no longer a crispy experience. I don't know if P got flour tortillas last time and that was the difference. Or if it was just a particularly different type of serving. It was delicious anyway. I also enjoyed the rice. And he REALLY enjoyed the frijoles. Not sure I've mentioned that before.

Right away, you see a sign at the host table recommending to pay in cash; there is a $3 added fee for credit. No problemo. It has been open under Papin's for a year. Complimentary basket of chips/salsa. We began with Appetizer Trio (fresh guac, mild chile con queso blanco, shredded chicken quesadilla x4); all 3 were great tasting and we demolished it. For entrees, we ordered the Trio Combo (tamale, chicken enchilada, crispy/soft ground beef taco) rice & charro beans; 6-count Nachos Texanos appetizer (beef fajita) - these reminded me of how ceviche is served because there was fajita aplenty on top n barely notice the cheese on the individual tiny Tostadas but tender YUM; Enchiladas Texanas plate (cheese); and, 2 Tostadas plate (1 beef/1 chicken). We cleaned our plates. I was impressed the most with my Tostadas... The ground beef was THE BEST! I LOVE A MESSY TOSTADA just like a greasy burger topped off with Mexican crema & queso fresco! The Spanish rice had good flavor and the refried beans too. Service was friendly. There's only one waitress for about 3-4 tables at the time but she was sweet and we were patient. The food came out hot and fresh. The prices are very fair for the portions served. I think this is a GEM of a place and I can't wait to try ALL DAY BREAKFAST and their Huevos Rancheros. There's room for big parties to seat 20 as well and also a few booths for just 2. My only complaint is how warm it was in the restaurant.

I went there for my birthday specifically to take on the "Toddzilla Challenge"--only to find out after finishing it that the challenge no longer exists. A total of four of us ordered it, and at no point did the cashier or waitress inform us that the challenge was discontinued. The Toddzilla is still on the menu, and there's even a wall dedicated to past winners, making it seem like the challenge was still active. So, we did what any competitive eater would do--we finished every last bite, expecting to earn our place on the wall and a commemorative t-shirt. Instead, we were met with a shrug and told, "Oh yeah, that challenge isn't a thing anymore." Talk about false advertising! The biggest issue? We specifically ordered four massive $22 burgers designed not to be finished, under the assumption we were taking on a legit challenge. If the staff had simply told us beforehand, we might have reconsidered. But nope--we were left in the dark. As for the food? It was... meh. The Toddzilla is just three beef patties with three slices of cheese--no sauce, no toppings, nothing. Just dry meat and bread. Fortunately, we asked for mayo, which helped a little, but without ketchup, mustard, pickles, or onions, it was a struggle to get through. Honestly, I think this place only gets good ratings because it's a bar. And let's be real--when alcohol is involved, food tends to get rated better than it actually is. If you're looking for a good burger, there are far better spots out there. Huge disappointment. *Poor *Decent *Ok *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Prices. Ok Food. Good Service. We got a booth immediately at 7pm - shocker - but not surprised it was right next to the kitchen. On the bright side, our server appeared promptly and the drinks were on the way.
