I had a referral for a consultation, but they never were able to set an appointment. Several of my calls were answered by AI, or outsourced to who-knows-where. When I was finally able to set up an appointment after 2 months, they informed me they did not do consultations! Which means, all the calls and time had been a complete waste! They knew it was for a consultation but failed to mention they could not do one. Very poor customer service and an incompetent office staff. Try somewhere else.

Right away, I was greeted with a great smile. The lady at the front desk was clearly busy, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome desk. As soon as I'm called back, I'm greeted by another friendly smile ( I believe "Maria"), and she tells me that she will be the one taking care of my X-Rays and photos. She was eager to chat, and even gave me some really interesting insight into their new camera system. Another lovely person. I'm then greeted by the lady who will be doing my cleaning, as well as Dr. Amethyst Schlecht. Dr. Amethyst Schlecht is very well spoken and engaging. She had a knowledgeable answer for every question, and never made me feel uncomfortable. Her inspection was quick but thorough, and I walked away feeling like the visit was comprehensive. The female dentist who did my cleaning (I'm bad with names, sorry!) was extremely friendly and equally as knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so she really needed to put some work into the cleaning. However, she managed to keep it comfortable and basically pain free--other than the usual tugging and poking that is necessary. I think my favorite part was how everyone seemed super happy and eager to share knowledge with me. Every question was met with an answer. I felt like I was talking to enthusiasts, not just bored people at a job they never wanted. Perfect first time experience. Looking forward to coming back in 6 months! Cheers

Then they said I needed a deep cleaning and even though I had medical I was going to have to pay more money for supplies. Like a couple hundred dollars. I've never heard of that before. The dentist came in was rough with my teeth looked at them for a couple minutes and was going to leave. I asked him about my teeth cleaning and he said ok I'll put some polish on your teeth. Put some pink gunk on my teeth and left. I found out from medical that he charged them for a regular cleaning which I never received. I asked for them to send my X-rays to a different dentist and he wanted to charge me for that. I hated this dentist did not feel comfortable. Had regular teeth cleanings before and what he did was not that he literally was in the room with me for a couple minutes and all he did again was put some polish on my teeth no floss, nothing. And I talked to other dentist and they said since you have Medi-Cal there shouldn't have been no extra cost for a teeth cleaning. Office is very small and claustrophobic.
