    Tater invader pizza
    Emm M.

I have always loved HotBox pizza. It's affordable, it's convenient, and their pizza is very good for the price. I love getting their re-usable cups too. They aren't the best pizza around, but for what it is it is amazing. This specific review is of their set up at GenCon too. They had a tent at the GenCon 2022 block party. The line moved quick for how long it was and the service was good. They had a special pizza there, too. Tater invader. It had tater tots, green onions, bacon, and sour cream. With cheese too. It was VERY good. I hope this flavor returns someday.

Well, if you're drunk on a Saturday night, this pizza will do the job. It does the job, but it really is just not good pizza. Great quick service, this is really a to-go kind of place and has just a few chairs for eat in.

Tonight was a total disappointment. The store was dead had multiple employees sitting outside and inside playing on phones, but couldn't get my order correct. Just to give you a heads up that every part of my order was wrong tonight... The pizza was supposed to have artichokes, it did not. It was not supposed to have black olives but it did. One of my two salads was BYO, I received two regular salads. There was no nacho cheese with my sticks. What we got was good, but it isn't what we ordered and I didn't get everything I paid for... I probably won't order from this location again.

I ordered an XL old school pizza to share with my friends. It had pepperoni and banana peppers. It was super good and I loved how little and crispy the pepperoni was.

Was a great experience. The staff was friendly and the food was quick to come out. Definitely a great first time experience . Going back to try the other signature pizzas

I don't understand the hype! Everyone has told me I MUST try HotBox because it's the best pizza in town. Not sure I agree with that. I did enjoy the breadsticks and the pizza was good (I kept it simple and just ordered cheese) but I do think there's some competition out there. The lunch deal is a great bargain though! You pick two options: salad, breadsticks or a pizza slice for $5.99. The order of breadsticks is huge so you'll certainly have leftovers. I'm glad I finally tried HotBox, but it's not my new go to pizza spot like I expected it to be!

I normally don't eat a lot of pizza, but last night I was hungry and didn't feel like going out to eat anywhere so I checked what's poppin on UberEats. I came across HotBox Pizza and decided to give it a try. The delivery was pretty quick I'd say about 30 minutes from the time I ordered which I feel like is fast for delivery. Thumbs up on that. As far as the pizza. Again I was impressed. I got the pesto pizza (no red sauce) w veggies and original style crust and it was smackinnnn. Very flavorful and I would definitely recommend, especially to my fellow people who don't prefer the traditional red sauce. I would order here again.

All visits to this Hot Box (actually, all visits to Hot Box in general) have been made after 1 a.m. Why, you ask? Because any time prior to 1 a.m. I'd fancy meself a pizza from somewhere else. I'm not saying Hot Box is bad - it's just that this rabbit prefers all sorts of green fixins on her pizza. The closest I could get at HotBox was the broccoli, tomato, garlic pizza. Eden's Pizza, I believe. Either way, at 1 a.m. it all tastes "A-OK." I should refer you to my friend and fellow Yelper, Joanna B, for her thoughts on HotBox. She's not only a pizza expert but a HotBox regular - her brightly colored cup collection says it's so.

The fact it was unfinished is an indictment.

How this pizza got 3 stars baffles me. I would have given them 2 stars because the employees were friendly but based on the overall taste, high price & long wait I couldn't do it. Over $20 for a pie that makes Domino's look like Grimaldi's. Even with the "supreme" the toppings were not enough to hide the poor taste of this pizza. The kicker is that this was a end of the night drunk pizza & still my buddy & I were like "this thing sucks!" LOL! What can you say other than go someplace else.

We went at 12:45 on a Thursday afternoon. We had a large group and were told it was about a thirty minute wait (which was fine). The food was good. I'm not a huge fan of Chicago style deep dish pizza but I hadn't had it in a few years. The crust was ok but not flaky enough. The sauce had a good tomato flavor and a bit on the chunky side. There were only a few pieces of sausage and the cheese was not very noticeable in the flavor profile. My Caesar salad was very good with lots of Parmesan cheese. The service left a lot to be desired. I'm not being critical of our server but rather the overall management of the service. They were very understaffed as servers were taking orders, bringing food and drinks, and clearing tables. The food came out of the kitchen slow. And there was one person (who I assume was a manager) who stood around with his arms folded, biting his nails, and doing nothing to help the servers. I'm sorry but if you are short staffed, roll up your sleeves and help clear tables or bring drinks. He did nothing while the servers ran from place to place. In the end, the food was ok but our experience lacked efficient service and I wouldn't go back to this Giordano's location again. There are a lot of other options in the area.

We ordered a half-and-half pizza with the Spicy Bee on one side and the Bazbeaux Special with pine nuts on the other. Everything was delicious. It's all made fresh to order, so it took a bit of time to come out, but that's exactly why it tasted so good: fresh ingredients, a crisp thin crust that stays sturdy under the toppings, and great flavor throughout. With many toppings to choose from and a good beer and wine selection, there's a ton to explore here, and it's very vegetarian-friendly, too. The service sealed the deal for us. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and our waitress was the highlight. We ended up staying a little past closing and started to rush, but she reassured us to take our time and enjoy the meal instead of feeling hurried. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Cozy, casual atmosphere, excellent pizza, and warm service in the heart of the Mass Ave arts district. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

A little soggy with butter but I mean.. it's butter. Is that bad? Dipping cheese was better than your standard stadium nacho cheese. Chopped salad was very fresh.
