We were pleasantly surprised by how good this pizza was. Tucked in the corner at The Garage we've talked about trying here for a few years. But every time we are at The Garage we end up eating somewhere else. Tonight we ordered an 18 inch pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza came out piping hot and had a good amount of toppings. The cheese was stretchy the bottom crust was thin and the edge crust was soft. The sauce had a very nice flavor. I love foldable NY style pizza and this was it. We will get pizza here again.

Love this pizza! It's the kind of greasy pizza we probably shouldn't have... but crave. The breadsticks are also great, and they offer cheese, garlic, or marinara as dipping sauces. My fiancé got the garbage salad, which is basically an Italian salad--very good! Definitely recommend this place if you're at The Garage.

Listen up y'all... I just discovered your new favorite dish in The Garage Food Hall: the tallarin saltado Peruvian pasta. It's noodles sauteed with tomato, onions, and a soy-based sauce. Think of it as an even better version of stir fry. You can choose to add steak saltado, chicken saltado, or shrimp saltado. This dish is essentially noodles with the beloved Peruvian dish, lomo saltado, on top (steak, which is what I opted for). You can also ask for a side of the aji or rocoto sauce. The aji is a Peruvian green sauce made of fresh cilantro, aji amarillo, huacatay and cheese that makes it creamy. This sauce is mild and then the rocoto is kind of a spicier version of the aji sauce. I also got the cobb salad here a few months ago and really loved all the toppings, neatly lined on top of the lettuce and packaged securely. It really hit the spot and was a much-needed healthy option. Next time I'm here, I'll be trying the pizza. I saw that they have a gluten-free crust and also sell single slices before 3pm. You can order a full-size pizza at anytime, as well as delicious-looking breadsticks. The owners of Abbiocco are amazingly kind and passionate. They also own Mambo's Cheesesteak Grill in The AMP and City Market. They are Peruvian, so incorporate their delicious sauces and fusion menu items at each restaurant. If you're newer to Peruvian food, let me tell you... you will love it. The lomo saltado and aji sauces are a great intro to the cuisine, as they are flavorful yet mild in spiciness. Everyone I've seen that tried it for the first time has loved it, so I recommend that you do too! PS: Follow them on social media for when they do full-on Peruvian menu pop-ups... they usually sell out, so you'll want to call ahead to reserve food, especially the ceviche.

I cantar visit here as often as I'd like. I love they always greet you with a smile and there is super authentic. Service his ass and their prices are reasonable.

    Mushroom pizza to go!

I ordered two slices of mushroom pizza to take home and warm up. The pizza is great! This is one of the best NY style pizza slices I have had in Indy. The price was reasonable and staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a great option to grab and eat in or also to take and bake at home if on the go.

Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta with a garlic toast wrapped in foil and order of breadsticks with cheese sauce!

This place is delicious! Located right in the Garage food hall area. They are the amazing pizzeria style restaurant at the far north end. They offer pizza , breadsticks, calzones, pastas and all look amazing! Came with friends after hearing about how delicious and huge the pasta dinners were here. I ordered the fettuccine already which came with a garlic toast slice so tasty. The creamy white sauce seasoned and fresh over perfectly cooked fettuccini with a warm piece of toast was so good. I also got a side of plain breadsticks with cheese sauce. Also amazing fresh and warm! Would definitely return did not disappoint, a lot of food for a great price! Had enough left for a whole other meal later.

Garlic is important to me and so is Coke. Please be advised, I have no power over either.......LOL! There is so much great food to choose from at The Garage Food Hall. I am embarrassed to tell you that on two separate visits within 24 hours, I went back twice, for this pizza! Imagine really fresh ingredients inside a slice and/or calzone. It reminded of Sabarro back in the day but instead of over-cooked veggies and meat inside the delicious crust/dough - the veggies and meat still had texture. I had pizza on my first visit and a calzone the second time I went to Abbiocco. Even better, you can wash it down with a Coke product. I love this place! The parking in the area around The Garage can be tricky but I wouldn't let that keep you away from this attraction. Scooters, bikes and cars are options. We found parking in a vacant lot next to an electrical generator. It's clear they are still working to provide space around this really unique building so be patient. I love the indoor and outdoor seating. There are play areas for kids and adults too! Prices vary but it ranges from $8 for a hefty helping of Mac and Cheese with lobster and $12 for a few hush puppies (stuff with liver, yum!) I tried other items that didn't satisfy like Abbiocco and I plan to go back to find something else worth "yelping" about for you. We had a large group of teenage boys with us. We coordinated in advance with The Garage. They provided our organizer with enough Gift Cards for a baseball team. Literally! So don't hesitate to go with a large group and/or take your family. The atmosphere is street fair/intimate gathering. You can find an area to celebrate or an area to look longingly into each other's eyes......it's a very versatile place! Indianapolis has a real gem and I recommend you make sure you go to Abbiocco Pizza when you visit The Garage.

Pepperoni slice with 2 pepperoni breadsticks.

I'm getting ready to return to my office after a year+ of working from home due to the pandemic. I decided to spend the afternoon getting my cubicle situated for my return and opted to catch lunch at The Garage Food Hall at Bottleworks. While I was super tempted to try one of the more formal dining options, a slice of pizza really sounded good and I'd wanted to try out Abbiocco Pizzeria. This is described as pizza with a Peruvian flair. They have pizza by the pie and pizza by the slice. They also offer up a handful of pasta options, pasta twist options, breadsticks, fountain drinks, a few canned options, and a "make your own" pasta option. I opted to keep it simple. I ordered a pepperoni slice, two pepperoni breadsticks, and a large unsweetened iced tea. Bottleworks is a great new location, though I'll admit I'm not quite ready to call it a destination spot as the paid parking is obnoxious and overall the Bottleworks district is a bit short in terms of accessibility. This includes having had difficulty finding an accessible table every single time I've come here on one side of the food hall. There's a mix of traditional tables and high-tops. The side with Abbiocco and other restaurants seems to have mostly high-tops. As a wheelchair user, that makes it a super hassle to carry my try AND find a place to sit. Service here is fairly casual. The method of ordering isn't super obvious and It took a moment for someone to notice me. It's not bad - it's just not what I'd call hospitality. On the flip side, my order did come out fairly quickly. By the time you pay for parking, pay for a meal, and potentially tip (Ugh. My pet peeve - that tip line when you pay. I understand it. I hate it.). The pizza? I found it underwhelming. It was better than mall pizza for sure (size wise it's comparable to a Luca). However, it was super greasy (to the point of dripping) and very lightly done. Again, it wasn't bad. It was middle-of-the-road. Goodfella's is just down the street and serves up a MUCH better slice. The pepperoni bread sticks were fine - not worth $3.75 for 2, but they were fine. I did like the iced tea and it was served in a decent-sized cup. Overall, this is probably somewhere between a 3-4. 3.5 is probably perfect. However, this particular experience trended downward and when you toss in paid parking I'm deferring to a 3-star for now. If it improves upon a revisit, I'll do an update. Ultimately, this is an entire food hall with dining options this experience didn't really distinguish itself. Neither the service or the food screamed out "Please come back." Certainly not a destination pizza, Abbiocco is fine if you're in the area and craving a slice or some pasta. I may return at some point and try some of their more Peruvian inspired fare.

My first impression of the pizza was that the pepperonis were delicious - large and thick cut which isn't the normal at places. The crust was nice and light, but it left me wanting more texture wise. They do paint some garlic butter on it though which is a nice touch. The calzone was flavorful, and similar to the pizza, not super dense or heavy. If you're looking for a place where you can eat a calzone and not be weighed down for the rest of the day then head to Abbiocco, but if you're looking for one stuffed with cheese and toppings then you might want to search elsewhere.

This seems like it would be the de facto pizza place in what is essentially a giant mall food court, but it is much more than that. Granted, the location within the Garage Food Hall isn't the greatest (hidden in the corner behind the beer bar), but don't sleep on the food here They have a choose-your-own pasta entree (noodles, sauce, meat, veggies) which they bake in the oven and is quite good.

For a great start of this year I went to The Garage Food Hall and I have to say that this venue was such a great investment for Indy, I can see already the people all over this place all day during summer. Now, among the many options they have in the food hall this restaurant caught my attention since they not only filled the spot for a pizza place but added a twist with it's Peruvian cuisine. Why am I giving them the first review and not to other restaurants next to them? Well, when I was browsing the hall I saw many delicious things to pick from and I almost went to try another thing but since I was not starving I decided to go through the place first and this restaurant is located at the very end of the south wing and I know a lot of people maybe just on a short time to grab a bite so lookout for this place before making a quick choice. Now, for the traditional customers they offer regular pizza choices like pepperoni, meat lovers, bbq chicken, deluxe or blanca; but aside from these options they had meat stuffed pizza or a create your own pizza where you can pick from these other ingredients: bacon, olives, pineapple, banana pepper, feta, mushrooms, steak, shrimp, arugula, spinach, burrata, pesto, etc. A slice of a normal one was 3.75, the gourmet ones 4.50 and meat stuffed 6.00. They also have breadsticks with cheese or pepperoni where you can pick a full order of 4 or go for half order. I hope this doesn't discourage people but they only sell soft drinks. So far it seems like a regular place and anyone can go to the regular pizza place on mass but they also have calzones for 8.50 the regular ones (veggie, panzerotti or stromboli) but the taste of the house comes with the TWIST ones which are: Lomo Saltado (Steak cooked with red onions tomato and soy sauce). Ají de Gallina (Peruvian Chicken stew, cooked with yellow ají pepper, garlic, onion and shredded chicken) and Empanadazo (Mixed greens, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomato and pesto sauce) these TWIST options are 10.00. I tried the Lomo Saltado which was really tasty and I picked ají for my sauce to the side but since they were still making them I had a slice of meat lovers pizza which I really enjoyed. Las thing is that afI took a couple of pictures of the menu but I saw that this was only the Winter menu so I'm waiting for whats next!

This was a really great spot for lunch! We arrived a little past 3, which is when the slices end, so we were unable to get the pizza by the slice. But, we did order a pepperoni 10 inch pizza & an order of breadsticks. The total price was $24 after tip, which seemed a bit overpriced for what we got. But, it was really tasty pizza. The pizza has a lot of crust, which I love, but if you don't I would not recommend. Also, the breadsticks were huge! They were definitely worth the price. We ordered a couple of waters as well, and the cups are huge which was nice. The line was decently long when we ordered, but we had our food within 15 minutes! I was impressed with how quickly it was ready. The salads and calzones looked amazing, so I will definitely be going back to try those another time!

It's all made fresh to order, so it took a bit of time to come out, but that's exactly why it tasted so good: fresh ingredients, a crisp thin crust that stays sturdy under the toppings, and great flavor throughout. With many toppings to choose from and a good beer and wine selection, there's a ton to explore here, and it's very vegetarian-friendly, too. The service sealed the deal for us. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and our waitress was the highlight. We ended up staying a little past closing and started to rush, but she reassured us to take our time and enjoy the meal instead of feeling hurried. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way.
