Chicken with broccoli with garlic sauce (with white rice) lunch special
    Suresh D.

Three weeks ago I had an appointment in the area and no clue if I would be done before lunch. Unfortunately It ran way after normal lunchtime. This was the first spot I saw where they had someplace to sit and eat so I went in. Since it was around 2:30, their lunch specials were still happening. I ordered chicken with broccoli with garlic sauce to stay. It took about 10 minutes, maybe less, to get my food in a to go container. That was good since I had no idea if I would finish it. The rice was fluffy and soft. The chicken with garlic sauce was similar to other fast food Chinese restaurants with enough broccoli. The place is small but it does have a few tables. It looked clean as well.

I've had better. Needs more flavor. Fast delivery though. I asked for fortune cookies and they gave me a bag and definitely charged me

Found maggots in my food. When i tried to get refund they refused and stated that they don't do refunds. Disgusting. Avoid at all costs

This Chinese restaurant is near my job so I go here with some sort of frequency. There are lunch specials (like most Chinese restaurants in NYC) and I generally order the boneless ribs. They're very good. I also like the Chinatown noodle soup and the chicken soup wir

Wonton soup, BBQ boneless spare ribs, steamed pork dumplings and Happy Family special

Delivers in 10 minutes. Inexpensive classic american chinese dishes. Try B-B-Q boneless spare ribs (mmmm!) appetizer. Wonton soup. Steamed pork dumplings. Pork fried rice. Family meal (one of the most $$ on the menu - $10,25) is not bad. Lots of meat and broccoli (plus peas, chestnuts and carrots). Ask for less (or no) salt and a sauce on a side.

The service here is very fast. However, the food here is not good at all. I prefer going across the street to King Garden for tastier food.

They are pretty fast, and I have always liked their food. I'm glad they are surviving the pandemic. Live the tofu and brown rice.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

We went a second time because our first experience was so good that we wanted to try their other dishes, and now after the second time, we can't wait to return for a third. We definitely need to return with a bigger group the next time we go so that we can try more of their dishes! Our second time there, we had the "Night Market Chow Fun" and the "Chongqing Braised Beef." Both were excellent! Probably my favorite Chow fun now and the Chongqing braised beef was so tender and had all the szechuan tingly spices that open up your taste buds and sensories. We LOVED both dishes. It had the 3 chili pepper sign and the server warned us that it was very spicy, and IT WAS -- in all the good ways. May not be for the faint, though, so be careful. Not sure if they can adjust the spiciness. We enjoy their "film set" ambiance, giving it a cooler dining experience than your normal authentic casual space -- adds some flare for a date night or for friends. MUST RETURN FOR MORE!

The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Pink flower wallpaper on one end and dry wall on the other, it's kinda off-putting but I didn't come here for the atmosphere anyway. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. Yeah, a rather disappointing visit. Not the worst I've ever had but could be so much better.

I got the wonton soup and pork juicy buns. The soup was different from other wonton soups with the addition of cilantro and some nice balancing flavors for the salt, and the juicy buns were your classic soup dumplings with a very nice rich sauce to dip in. The dandan noodles my friend ordered were maybe my favorite, they were the perfect level of spicy and so flavorful without being overwhelming. I'd go back just for my own plate of those. The service was quite fast, and it's a cute little shop that feels like a small town Chinese restaurant. Very reasonably priced as well. Some of my favorite Chinese food I've found outside of Lower Manhattan !
