    No Name Soft Serve

King Kone is the best ice cream shop around! Not only do they have EVERY flavor, topping, and sundae combination, but the staff is great as well. It is apparent why there is a long line all the time. It is a very cute stand with some tables to sit at and adorable murals on the sides. There is also lots of parking which is useful as well. They have so many unique combinations and always have different specials. The worst part about it...trying to decide what to order!

Woot!!! No Name dessert is the way to go!!!! Try it - yum!!! It's big, but not huge. You can do it!! Just eat it! Enjoy your life!! Live!!

    The no name, massive!!!

This place was darn cute. We were recommended to come here by our waitress at Maple City Tap. She recommended the "no name" sundae and it did not disappoint. My parents shared the extra large item and enjoyed it! Reasonable price of $4.99 when you see the size! 2.5 sundaes in one-plus a cone. I ordered a small turtle sundae. Perfect size and cute packaging with polka dot cups. Flavorful creamy soft serve and adequate toppings! The exterior is darn cute with multiple bright paint colors and cute art. They have the pictures of the staff on a board which is a nice way to get to know the crew. The staff was friendly and explained the items and sizes. The music was a bit loud by the seating area, but adequate seating in the small area! I would absolutely go back and try something new next time!

    Half size smores sundae!

Oh King Kone is just so wonderful. If you are looking for a giant, creative sundae, this place is for you! Each time I go, I am blown away by the kindness and enthusiasm of the workers. They are so happy to help everyone! Plus, this little ice cream shop is such a blessing to the community. The last time I was there, I had the half size smores sundae and it was still pretty big! It was incredibly tasty and the marshmallows on top were toasted! My boyfriend had the full size peanut butter cup sundae and he really enjoyed it. You definitely get a great amount of ice cream for the price!

Through word of mouth I have heard how good the ice cream is here and boy was everyone right. This little ice cream stand in Chardon is fantastic. There menu and the number of different flavors is mind blowing. My wife had the hiltopper sundae, the half size. The sundae was vanilla soft serve, strawberry topping, a chocolate dip coating, and whipped cream. She said it was absolutely delicious. I had the peanut butter cup sundae, half size. It had peanut butter cup ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, Reese's peanut butter cups, and whipped cream. This sundae was definitely packed with peanut butter and chocolate flavor. My son had a twist in a waffle cone with sprinkles. He loved the ice cream which was HUGE. as he kept joking it was like 3 gallons of cold creamy goodness. Overall a great experience. The ice had good flavor and was a good price. I highly recommend coming here and will surely be back.

So good you wear it, your car seat wears it, everywhere but the floor wears it lol.

Ok I know what you're thinking it's ice cream and who doesn't love ice cream...gotcha. Here's the thing - there's Hershey's hard pack ice cream, their soft serve, frosty style malts, sundaes, flurries I mean I'm still going. They have food too and snacks - but I didn't get there. I made it to actually a second cone I split with my hubby - all smalls...he took lactaid just to come here that's how good it is. And really the kids cones - HUGE - the small cones they are the size of other people's large - and that is why they are KING!!! The service you get - the lines don't stay lines. The service you get when you don't know what to get - they make suggestions, they tell you what's so great - it helps you. The service who understands you have to run the kid cones to the car before coming back for yours and the hubby. The service who smiles, thanks you, reminds you for napkins. The service who doesn't judge when you come back for round 2 in the same trip. That's why they're King!

My dogs sweet treats! Only a dollar

Amazing!! I love ice cream amd with the weather being like its been. This was exactly what I needed. This place is always packed. But, the staff know what they're doing so you rarely wait. We were even able to pick up some treats for our dogs!! They loved it. If you're put this way, definitely worth the stop.

    What's in the no name?

It's a chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve with pretzels and I think a caramel swirl/drizzle but it might be butterscotch.

This weekend, I visited him and when he asked where I wanted to eat, I said, "DUH Scooters!" I love hot dogs! We weren't the only ones with that idea, and we had to circle the parking lot several times before finally finding a place to park. After that, we joined a line that stretched out the door. Once it was our turn, we both ordered the 'long' chili dog and got a 'tiny' fry and a banana shake to share. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit at the counter. While we waited I enjoyed the whimsical wall murals and people watching. Once we received our food, I happily dug in. The chili on the hot dog was unique, with corn mixed in. We were warned it would be spicy, but as Texans, we didn't find it spicy at all--though we did think it was quite tasty. The "tiny" order of fries was delicious and definitely not small in our eyes, though after seeing the massive portions others received, I suppose it was. We kept eating and eating them and still couldn't finish them. The banana shake was the perfect ending to our meal. I hope I get to eat at Scooters again. There are other hot dogs I would like to try.

If I could divide my rating into two parts, the hot dogs, burgers, and the staff would easily earn a full 5 stars. The kitchen consistently puts out food that is really good for what it is--classic American comfort food with a depth of flavor that feels nostalgic yet satisfying every single time. The hot dogs snap perfectly, the burgers are juicy and well-seasoned, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It's the kind of menu that reminds you why simple food, when done right, can be so incredibly enjoyable. The staff deserves equal praise. Every interaction I've had has been positive, warm, and genuinely friendly. They greet you with a smile, they're patient, attentive, and they seem to truly care about making customers feel welcome. That alone adds an extra layer of comfort to the experience. You can tell there's pride in the service--they're not just doing a job, they're creating a welcoming environment. The ambiance of the place reflects that same inviting spirit. There's a warm, hometown charm throughout the building, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. It feels like the kind of neighborhood spot where families gather, friends meet up, and regulars come back again and again because it just feels good to be there. The lighting, the décor, and the overall atmosphere create a cozy, comfortable setting that makes you want to slow down, enjoy your meal, and take in the moment. However, if I had to give a separate rating for the building and seating arrangements, that part would be closer to 4 stars. The only real drawback--and it's something that's hard to ignore--is the seating design. The chairs are all stationary and can't be moved, which unfortunately makes things difficult for larger customers. The seats themselves are not very comfortable, and when it comes to the booths...well, unless you're extremely petite, squeezing into a booth can feel almost impossible. The lack of flexible seating options takes away from the otherwise excellent experience, especially for people who simply need more room. It's worth saying that none of this takes away from how good the food is or how wonderful the staff continues to be. But some adjustments to the seating--more space, moveable chairs, and more inclusive options--would make a big difference in comfort and accessibility for everyone who wants to enjoy a meal here. Overall, this place has a lot going for it. The food is consistently great, the staff is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. With just a few updates to the seating arrangements, it would truly be top-tier in every way. I'll definitely keep coming back, and I hope to see those improvements someday, because the rest of the experience is already something special.
