We told Junior we were interested in the vehicle but we would be driving from Saint Louis(4 1/2 hour drive non stop) so we wanted to make sure everything was okay with the vehicle before making the trip. After a few phone calls and text with Junior, he assured us the vehicle was outstanding with NOTHING wrong. We make the trip and took the test drive. 4 things right off the bat are wrong. #1: The check engine light is on. We drove the vehicle to a nearby Auto Zone and had them run the free engine light check on it. Came up as (P0021) which has something to do with the crank shaft. Maybe it was just a bad sensor? Maybe it was worse?.. I don't know. #2: As we were getting the test done at Auto Zone we all noticed a loud buzzing noise from the engine, we pop the hood and the Auto Zone worker said it was probably a belt or pulley making the noise. #3: The passenger air bag light was beeping on the dash. Why was it beeping? I don't know... #4: The DVD player screen did not work, the sound worked great but the screen would not turn on. We return from the test drive and tell Junior the things we found wrong. Junior said the check engine light was not on the day before and neither was the Passenger Air Bag Warning Light... he was just dumbfounded at how they both magically appeared this day. As for the loud buzzing noise coming from the engine that the Auto Zone guy said sounded like a belt or pulley... Junior said it was "supposed" to sound like that and everything was fine! As for the DVD player, Junior did not know about that either and it was a complete surprise to him that it did not work. Junior didn't really know what to do about all the things I had pointed out, all he could say was "make me an offer"... Really?!.. make you an offer? We drove down there with virtually a blank check written to us by our bank and were really excited about driving this vehicle home. We feel totally disrespected and are in total disbelief that someone would treat us like that. We specifically asked multiple questions to ensure everything was okay with the vehicle before we made the trip and we were obviously lied to repeatedly. I find it EXTREMELLY hard to believe that he was totally unaware of all four of these things before we got there. If I could have given this business Zero stars I would have, please don't make the same mistake I did and avoid this place at all costs.

For the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I can get a copy of the repair from them to substantiate this as proof of my claim if you're in any doubt. Even my wife was mad because she had to pick me up and drop me off TEN TIMES from a crappy mechanic that couldn't find a simple coolant leak at the radiator! I had to borrow a pressure tester to find the leak myself show you how to do your job. Also, no matter what I said or how I said it, because yes, I was mad. Regardless, Richard, (haha, fitting name) was completely wrong and out of line for physically charging at me, threatening to kick my ass, like he intended to rip my head off while screaming in my face. Classy customer service, considering I never threatened him or anyone else. Did he ever attend any anger management classes? I hope he gets the help he needs. I just purchased a car from G and L and even though there were no warning lights, the inspection place told me the car is in good shape, then a light came on within 48 hours of the purchase. I went back and Adam responded and resolved it on the same day. That is how a business gains loyalty in my book. When they didn't call by near close of business we stopped back in expecting the vehicle to be ready or near ready, because of course they would call if they had to keep it overnight right? Several calls on our part later we finally got ahold of someone who said that it's take a but due to a part. Well a heads up call goes a long way. How about a loaner vehicle then? We purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Staff seemed okay, facilities were nice. Jeep ran great…read moreand looked like it was going worth what we paid for it. We were told it had a brand new Oil Cooler and Spark Plugs installed as that oiler cooler always goes bad in this model so they replaced it with the new aluminum one to prevent problems for the next owner. Less than 48 hours of owning it, the heat stops working. Less than a week of owning it the check engine light comes on with a misfire in cylinder 4. We took it to a shop, $1300 later we had a new oil cooler installed. The repair shop gave us the oiler cooler that they removed. It was the original plastic oil cooler that came with the engine. The spark plugs were not replaced either. This dealer lied to our face when we bought it. After that repair it fixed the misfire on cylinder 4 but the heat still doesn't work so now we have to spend a couple more thousand dollars to get the heater core replaced because "someone" filled the system with radiator stop leak. This was my 19 year old son buying what he thought was going to be his first reliable vehicle for his new chapter of life and getting on his adult feet. My son saved up every penny and paid $12000 cash for this car just to end up with a lemon and lies. Buyer beware!!!
