Decided to go with my brother to get some modifications to his muffler on his new car. In comparison to another shop that we stopped by earlier in the day, this place definitely gives good pricing for their services. This place shares its location with three other shops, so parking gets a bit hectic when their location gets busy. But they really work fast and were able to see about 5 cars a little over an hour and a half. The worker my brother talked to was attentive to what he wanted done for his car. There is a little seating area you can hangout at while waiting and the shop is close to a few liquor stores, including 7-Eleven, so you could walk there are back to grab a drink and/or snack. Definitely a good place to get modifications done on your car. read more

I was recommended this shop by a friend. All I have to say is great things. Great quality work, clean Welds and Harry did an awesome job explaining what custom modifications needed to be done with the resonator I had brought. I purchased it used from another person and the previous welds were complete crap. They did a great job and I zero complaints. I got there early first car on the lift I had to have tailpipe changed ,leaking and couldn't pass smog.. in and out within an hour. Real pro's here had a machine that duplicated my original pipe on my 1983 dodge..pretty good price too.. happy customer here read more

Harry & his staff not only had the catalytic converter (mine got stolen yesterday) that are usually back ordered but also gave me a good deal! They were friendly, accommodating, easy to work with, communicative, showed me exactly what needed to be repaired, and were able to fix my car right when I got there and in under 2 hours. 11/10 recommend! Will definitely be going to him for referrals for other mechanics for future problems. If you have exhaust problems, come here! read more

Had to get a replacement catalytic converter welded in to an older 80s Mercedes. I called around some other shops who quoted me some crazy prices. I called and Harry said to just bring it in and he would give me a good price. His prices were significantly better for installation and did the replacement extremely fast. Definitely recommend this place as this guy is no BS and straight to the point. He prefers cash so be prepared to bring cash! read more

I've taken my 2013 Scion FR-S here for exhaust work and these guys always manage to do a great job with fitment, weld quality, and speed of service. It's a small shop but don't let that fool you... the two techs that work here are extremely efficient and will have you in and out in under an hour. While I don't have that car anymore, I took my new to me 2010 Audi S5 V8 here for a muffler delete. The results were the same and I'm very happy with how the car sounds now. read more

I just had a Magnaflow competition cat back exhaust system installed on my 2015 Mustang GT. Henry gave me a great price and Raffi did an excellent job installing the system. It was basically a bolt on system but they went the extra mile and did four tack welds to reinforce the bolts. I love business's that do good honest work. I was referred to King Muffler by friends and can't be anymore happier. I came here and met with Harry who is amazing and very knowledgeable. He did a resonator delete on my 2011 E63 and what a difference it is. They have great prices and do the work very neat. Second time his welds failed on me on 2 of my cars. Last time i went there told him to use the both side of the exhaust hangers but he only used one side. After 6 months welds failed again.... Im not an yelper but i hate jobs like this. Do it properly or dont do it. read more

Other muffler shops will overcomplicate things due to inexperience, laziness, and poor customer service. I drive all the way from Glendale to come to this shop. King Muffler is my go to muffler shop to avoid all of those things. My experience here consists of quick and easy service, fair prices, and no excuses when it comes to getting the job done. Service is usually so quick depending on the job you can watch the labor from a distance. Don't sell yourself short, come to King Muffler. read more

Came in here to install a cat back exhaust on my e46. This was a boxed set and most of the install went by without a hitch. However there was problems with this set as certain parts were not lining up perfectly with the car. I had read on forums about droning and how you might have to do slight mods to it to make it perfect. We ran into the same problems here and the guys at this ship didn't miss a beat. I didn't say a word and they were addressing the problems that I had read about. Very knowledgeable and did the job in amazing time. Highly recommended. read more

BEST CUSTOM EXHAUST SHOP IN ALL OF LA!!! Stopped in here on a Friday morning to get a Muffler Delete on my BMW E92 M3. I already had a Borla Catback setup already, but I wanted a little bit more of a road presence and growl! The mechanic managed to cut off my old Borla mufflers, create a straight pipe, and weld the new pipes together all in 40 minutes! Super impressive and and timely work. By the time, the job was done a crowd of onlookers and people waiting to get their cars upgrades had all gathered around for the moment of truth to hear the end result! Manager down at King Muffler installed a magnaflow on my BMW and it sounds great! I love the honest work they do here and realistic prices and turn around time. I used to go to these guys all the time and they had great prices. Went back to them recently and was treated really poorly. I had two jobs to do, asked for a quote, made the dude all angry and then he gave some ridiculous quote! I think he just wanted me to leave. Maybe it's under new ownership but these guys are douche bags. read more

They installed catalytic converter upside down and I could not pass smog check! I was calling them to solve my problem but no one answered me. When I came back to their place employee Arshad shouted on me. Owner of that place doesn't even speak English and could not help me. Of course, they have already got my money and they didn't want to help me! Horrible costumer service! Absolutely impolite and disrespectful service! Never ever ever ever come here! They do not care about their costumers! They just care only about themselves! read more

I started having some very common water pump and vacuum system problems with my beloved 718 Cayman S a few weeks ago - these are well documented issues with the car, but can be very difficult to diagnose and truly fix. When I first started having problems, I decided to go to another shop in the area to get a diagnosis to figure out what was going on. That shop gave me a lot of stress and very little confidence that we would get the issues sorted any time soon, so I decided to come here and met with Amir. Again, the vacuum issues on a 718 especially can be a bit complicated to diagnose. From the moment I started working through these issues with Amir, he was very good on communication, transparency, and did not in any way run up a bill of other random things just to try to get more money. He sent me photos every step of the way of what was being done to my car, communicated on parts coming in, etc - I felt very comfortable having my car there. When Porsche took longer than they had promised us to get a part in, Amir made the wait much easier by helping me out with a rental. The car was driving beautifully after I picked it up, but I ended up with a fault code again and I had to come back in - I don't fault Amir/the shop for this at all, 718 vacuum issues can be very complicated and oftentimes there is no "issue" left other than a ghost code. The experience of coming back here to diagnose why this code came back actually solidified my confidence in this shop - they were once again extremely transparent and very considerate in making my second visit quick and painless. My car is in phenomenal shape, and I saved a good amount of money (and headache) compared to what I was quoted at another spot down the street. Thank you Amir!

My car (2019 Audi Q5) suddenly lost a lot of power while I was driving home (but still 30 miles away) so I was able to get it back home but had no clue as to why it was kind of doggin' it and I couldn't go more that 50 mph on freeway and between warning lights and the general understanding of how much car repair costs, I figured this could be $300 to $2000. Matt tells me they want to do a "smoke test"... $150 so I'm thinking, OK, smoke test then $1,000 to repair whatever issue they find. Nope. Smoke test showed a part adjacent to the turbocharger was loose so they tightened it up. Who gets out of a car repair shop for $150? Anyway... this isn't a HUGE shop with 8 bay and 12 mechanics but it's your reliable corner mechanic that has nice people, transparent communications and a clean shop. And it's the only place I'm going for the foreseeable future.

I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.
