I know this company has great reviews, in fact, I specifically asked my home warranty to assign them because of that, but I had a really bad experience with them and I felt like they totally wasted my time and were dishonest. This review is based solely on my phone calls and service call to my house. They did not actually fix my plumbing problem. I have Old Republic Home Warranty and this is the company that was assigned from my home owners insurance.   I made arrangements to work from home and set up an appointment for Monday, to which they cancelled, last minute, saying that the home warranty company cancelled the work order.  When I called the home warranty  company they told me King's Plumbing canceled the call because they were to busy to take it. I called the company back and reported this to which they denied it being true and rescheduled.  I then planned a second day to work from home to have them come out again. We were set for an afternoon appointment block to which they showed up in the morning unscheduled.  The plumber looked at my issue and told me they can fix it the following week.  Never, mentioning they were not willing to fix my issue bc they were to busy.   After they left, I then received a call from the home warranty company telling me that Kings Plumbing denied service because they were to busy. When I called Kings, the gentlemen on the phone, did in fact confirm,  they are not accepting the job because they are to busy and short staffed.  The entire interaction was just weird.  I felt like they were not honest with their intentions and wasted my time, forcing me to work from home on two different days when they were not in a position to take the job to start with as they are over worked and short staffed. I know have to stay at home a 3rd day for a new company to come out and give me an estimate. read more

Remarkably good service! Contacted on Fri. Afternoon, they got me scheduled for the following Sun @ 8:00a for a non-emergency service. I mean, nobody does that anymore. The tech, Brandon, arrives exactly on time and is just terrific. Everything done to perfection. Pricing was a good 20-25% less than prior estimates. Had our backyard sump pump fail (kept tripping the GFCI). Called King Plumbing, Heating and AC and Ulises came out fast to give me an estimate on the repairs/replacement. He was very courteous and offered suggestions etc on how to remedy the situation. After all the parts came in Ulises came out again to do the repairs/replacement of the sump pump and I was amazed by the attention to detail and cleanliness. He kept me informed during the repair process and let me know tips on future maintenance of the sump pump in order to increase longevity. Once the job was done, Ulises cleaned up and verified the sump pump performance to my satisfaction. Overall, I would not hesitate to reach out to Ulises and King Plumbing, Heating and AC again in the future. Thanks Ulises! You rock! read more

I assumed it was a solicitation. Instead he informed me of an overcharge from their last visit . I would not have caught this until 04/21 at the earliest . I called King Plumbing on 2/11/2022 after I setup a Yelp request. The dispatcher was nice on the phone to be fair. He emailed me a window from 9 - 11AM. I waited until 11:40 and called 2 times to find out where the technician was. The dispatcher said I'll hear back in 25 minutes. One hour later I called again and spoke to the dispatcher. He was telling me that the technician called and left a message and was at my property. That was an outright lie! Then the dispatcher said "Oh we don't fix toilets", this is later after I told the same person that I needed to have my toilet fixed. Now they some how don't fix toilets! This company is a joke! They completely wasted my day telling me they would be at my place to fix my toilet and now they change their story!!!?? So, I called Hanson Plumbing and they came out and fixed my toilet with no BS! That is what really happened! I will never call King Plumbing again after this crap! (No pun intended) read more

Honest, friendly, reliable, quality-these are all words that I would use to describe Among Kings Plumbing. I have used them twice in the last six months. Once to replace a hot water heater that started smoking. They came quickly and had it replaced within a few hours of my Facebook message asking for service. The second time, the hot water line under my bathroom sink busted early in the morning on a Sunday. They came out quickly and replaced the line and shut off valve. Our daughter's house had a plumbing issue and water leaking from the kitchen. I had called a couple other plumbing companies in the area but no one could come out right away, some were booking 2 weeks out. I called King Plumbing around 2 pm. The repairman arrived before 5 pm and had the repair complete inside of 1-2 hours. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman that did the repair but he was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of the repair was also reasonable. I do recommend this company and will use this company again if needed. read more

I have never interacted with an AC company that was so knowledgeable and informative, taking the time to address customer questions and concerns in order for consumer to make best purchase decisions. Luis was the tech, and I'm impressed with how much he cares that one doesn't purchase some product and then later regret it. I have had this challenge before when the timing, or the order of getting certain services such as Duct cleaning, re-sealing ducts, buying Air Scrubber, and or new HVAC, counter acted other purchase if not done in certain sequence. I had a toilet leakage in my rental property. The staff was very responsive, and the fix has been done quick with a reasonable price.

Here's the bottom line. If you are looking for a plumber or any other services these guys provide (ac/heater) look no further. I found King to uphold something that's lacking in many companies, honesty and integrity. After two different plumbers did not show up to fix my leaky valve in the laundry room, I came across King. They answered the phone after office hours, showed up on time and was able to repair my leaky valve. Here's the thing.... I had gotten a quote for several hundred dollars from the other plumber that didn't show. King came to perform an assessment of the work required and determined that it just needed to be tightened and did not need to cut the dry wall and replace the valves. When I asked the cost for the work, they didn't charge me, nothing, nada, ZERO! Their honesty supersedes all expectations. When you find people who won't attempt to scam you, it's a relief. I also feel compelled to share that the plumber stated their motto is to treat their customers like family members and I completely agree. Update (6/26/17): I called King again to replace the valve for the main line. Simply put, they executed it without me being there. I didn't have to rearrange my schedule or anything. These guys were awesome! Sent a request to quote out to many companies using Yelp's suggestion when I requested a quote from a different company. King replied and was the most upfront and gave me a quote right in the first message! It's so much easier then going back and forth. I found King heating, plumbing, and AC LLC when my home warranty company (Old Republic) sent Marc out to take a look at my AC unit that was not producing cold air. I cannot say enough good things about Marc. He was extremely nice, honest, trustworthy, and took the time to explain to me the problem and what can be done to fix it. He took his time and made sure the job was done right. The problem was that we were low on refrigerant and he made sure there were no visible leaks before pumping more refrigerant in the unit. He was able to fix our air conditioner and now my family doesn't have to live in a hot house anymore. This is by far the best experience I've had with a heating/cooling and plumbing company. King plumbing gets a very good review from me. Although I did not hire them for plumbing because I am a very good plumber myself but rather I hired them for air conditioner service. This technical kind of job out classes my skill set and tools so I needed some help. So I Yelped out. A few out other companies were not willing to service my unit (because it was a Mexican market unit I bought for cheap). Some other companies were willing but they Didn't have any reviews yet but I wasn't willing to be the first one. So I called King plumbing because they had very good reviews already. What can I say the reviews don't lie. The first company I hired last year to do the install messed up the install. It was a simple mistake but there was a tiny leak and so the machine ran out of Freon in the winter when I need it to make heat which makes it kind of difficult to service. King Plumbing Took care of it easily, and they came through right away and fixed it very reasonably. Their master journey man level technician was very professional and respectful. I was happy and proud to leave him his first tip. read more

I can't say enough about the customer service from King Plumbing & AC. Just as luck would have it the AC in my home stopped cooling on a weekend in July, it was just running constantly. I posted a message on Yelp that following Monday morning. King Plumbing was THE ONLY company who could come out that morning. Luis and James arrived right on time. Both were very polite, professional and honest. They noticed the unit was low on coolant, recharged it and cool air had returned. Next step was to reach out to Old Republic, the home warranty company, to get the AC repaired or replaced. They sent out some shotty company who charged me 75.00 just to tell me nothing was wrong, didn't even check anything except to tell me the unit had plenty of coolant. No duh since King had just been out a day prior. This company then closed out the service ticket with no problem found. I called Old Republic back and stated there was a reason why the unit was so low on coolant and insisted either they repair or replace the unit. Since King Plumbing & AC is also a contractor for Old Republic, I demanded that they open a new ticket to King. Luis and James came out again, went up in the attic and found multiple leaks in the coil. Luis worked with the manufacturer to locate a replacement part which was so nice of him. A part was found and the insurance company approved the repair with no cost to me. Luis and James came back out once the part arrived, replaced it and now the AC works great. I even signed up for the maintenance plan offered by King so now twice a year the unit can be inspected so no more summer without AC. There are so many AC companies in Maricopa County but if you are looking for a company with honesty, integrity, that goes above and beyond, by all means, look no further than King Plumbing & AC. Our kitchen sink got clogged. Call for a service and estimate. So for them to come here they charged a $95 fee. The plumber took a looked at it....and gave me an estimate of more then $600. He mention it would take him about 3hrs to do the job. I called a different plumber company, he charged $100 and did the job in about 30 mins. read more

Randy and Marc showed up on time and were friendly, helpful, and very professional. They found simple solutions that 2 other plumbers hadn't found and wanted to charge us a ton of money to fix. One was the recirculating pump, which wasn't working. These guys figured that it wasn't plugged in! (It still needed work, but....) We also had no cold water in the master shower. A previous plumber told us it was a cartridge that was hard to get to, and would cost $1000. Randy handed me a rubber piece and said "someone put this rubber piece on backyards and it blocked your cold water intake." I'm 63 years old. This was the best plumbing experience I've ever had! read more

I called King Plumbing last Sunday and received a call the next day from Terry. Brendan came out that afternoon, assessed the situation and made a suggestion to return all the shower/tub Trim I bought and get the correct Valente trim. Brendan was very thorough and friendly and made some great suggestions. They even sold me one of their Soft Water Units. I haven't heard or seen one yet, but trust the reputation of King Plumbing as experts in their business. I will provide a review of the Water Softener once I see it in action after a few months. Central Arizona Supply in Phoenix where I bought the Avanti Trim gave King Plumbing high marks when I told Dave they were doing the repair of the Trim installation for the Tub/shower and installing a new Soft water unit. Can't go wrong if a Plumbing Supply company gives King Plumbing some high marks! Time will tell after the Water Softener is installed. read more
