spicy salmon roll, Salmon Lovers, Mango
    Maya J.

great prices, good fish, and cute interior. It looks like all of their rolls are continually marked down 50%, which is probably a marketing tactic but the resulting price is totally worth it. I think we paid $28 for the three rolls we got. The salmon lovers was SO good with the little lemon slice, the mango one was a little too overwhelmingly mango as I wasn't expecting the mango piece to be that big. Only issue was that it took a very long time to get the food, but that might be attributed to how popular this spot is getting! (and also it was valentine's day when I went )

SUCH a good deal!!! The salmon combo comes with 5 (HUGE pieces of) salmon nigiri, and I opted for the salmon roll (also packed to the brim with salmon!). The salmon quality is spectacular, its juicy and fresh, with no fishy taste- all for an amazing price. My pick-up order was ready in 10-15 minutes, and they were so nice and let us sit at one of the tables during the dinner rush while we waited. The vibes in the restaurant seemed lively, yet cozy and familiar. I definitely am looking forward to coming back and dining at the restaurant, but sushi to-go from here is too good!! I'm drooling looking at my own picture, and I literally Just ate it.

    Waiting outside to be seated

Place is small, I went based on reviews. It was packed had a college kid vibe. We had to wait to be seated but there was no place to wait so we stood outside. Appetizers are small in size. 5 small tempura shrimp pieces. They were good. Could've had more flavor. Musubi was one piece. It was tasty. A lil sweet. Wish it was 2 pieces so it could be shared as an appetizer. Son had beef udon noodles. He enjoyed the dish. Great serving size not too little or too much. BF had the 12 piece sashimi he enjoyed very much. I had the Phoenix rising roll. It was good, little spicy. I will probably try something else next time. Service was not great. Never had our water filled. We felt a little rushed when ordering.

The manager on site today was extra attentive. Stopped by during busy lunch rush hour and king Salmon delivered again. This sushi spot is a go to for anyone in the vicinity. Prices are reasonable and food is always delicious. Vibes are energetic and Asian decor helps complete the experience. Can't wait to be back again.

A quiet spot ideal for a quick lunch. Super fresh raw salmon every single time I've been here. Friendly and efficient service. Super chilled lounge and jazz playing in the background.

Love the sushi: texture, taste profile, clean cut, fresh and made to order just how you want it! Quality is kept in tact, whilst beating competition with their pricing! PERFECT spot to visit for ANY occasion! Can't wait for a larger location! DELICIOUS, can't rave enough and the ambience is so relaxed. Can't wait to dine in again and again, I'm a loyal 'regular!' Picture was sub par, sorry- I was too busy devouring my scrumptious role & hot sake bombs!

Cute spot! Nice place to steal away for an out of office lunch with your work BFF. I can also imagine that it's a vibe at night too. It gave funky hole in the wall vibes. I carried out my order. The wait staff was pleasant and hospitable answering all of my first timer questions with patience and a smile. The rolls were delicious neat and well dressed. Even my husband was impressed. My veggie tempura was hot and delicious. I would come back next time I visit AZ.

Came by for dinner on a Monday night. Pretty busy as only a few tables were left. Menu had plenty options to choose from. Decided on a few appetizers, several nigiri, and the Thomas roll. Our orders came out quickly and left me impressed. My favorites were the seared nigiri and the Thomas. If you're looking for a good quick meal and great service, give this place a try.

    Spicy geisha roll

After an appointment yelped for a sushi restaurant close by and saw the 4.7 rating so had very high hopes. As always, I started off with miso soup which was very flavorful but salty. All the rolls are 50 percent off but for example, regular price for a spicy tuna roll is $12, so 50 percent off of that is more in line especially as the rolls are on the smaller side. Felt like that was a gimmick to get people in. We ordered a combo of 7 pieces of nigiri and California roll $22- substituted with spicy tuna roll. They forgot to substitute so ended up getting an extra spicy tuna roll. The nigiri was fine, but the California roll was very salty and the spicy tuna roll was skimpy. It was just meh. All the specialty rolls are 50 pct off of $19.50. We had a really difficult time deciding as most seemed to be fried and heavily sauced. We chose Volcano Scallop roll- crab topped with spicy scallop, baked with spicy mayo, massago and eel sauce. This roll was incredibly salty and there was way too much mayo. Also ordered Spicy Geisha- spicy tuna, cucumber topped with salmon, jalapeño, massago and hot sauce. It was ok, nothing special. One of the chefs and a server brought us real wasabi on the house which was very nice. Service was fine but the food just was not satisfying. What really stood out was how salty everything was. Unfortunate as I had much higher hopes based on the rating.

Pretty good sushi for one being located at a strip mall. I was visiting from Seattle and wanted to grab a quick bite. I had like 4 other places I wanted to try but settled on King Salmon since it was down the street from my friends place and I wouldnt have to be outside for that long haha. I order the Thomas roll, Pacific roll and 3 pieces of seared salmon. I was so impressed by the seared salmon. It was double the amount of fish to rice. They do pretty well with the rice ratio for the rolls. I didn't find them too heavy. Fish were fresh. I didn't dine in so I cant speak for service but the staff I picked up from was really nice. Will definitely tell my friend to come here to grab food!

I came here for dinner with my husband. Our hotel is just 2 miles away. I was not too hungry so I just ordered some edamame and a salmon and avocado hand roll. My husband ordered some tuna nigiri and salmon nigiri and the SOS roll. Everything was absolutely amazing! So delicious! The prices are great too! The only issue I had was there was a party of 7 kids (in their 20's) sitting next to us who were SO LOUD! The girl sitting next to me would laugh so loud it literally hurt my ear. The acoustics are not good there. We could barely hear one another over the noise of the kids. The only other issue I had was the waitress's/ hostess (she was behind the counter, sat us, and took our order and brought out our food) forgot my edamame. She took our order, said "I'll go grab that edamame for you now" and then came back 15 minutes later with our meals. So I reminded her about the edamame and then she brought it out. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night. I would definitely return. Hopefully we will have a quieter time than last night.

I hadn't been in a while still good and in today's crazy economic times still reasonable for sushi. I got salmon roll with lemon slice and a hand roll plus Japanese beer, miso soup. Cost $24 and customer service is still very good and friendly. I am on the Ozempic weight loss journey and craved several other rolls but couldn't do it.

The food was so good! We got the salmon roll, salmon lover, and Thomas roll! The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a really nice vibe and we would definitely come back again!

It came with fried vegetable spring rolls, shumai and goon mandu. I didn't realize it came with the same appetizers we ordered but didn't mind as they were tasty. The only item we didn't care for were the spring rolls, which were mushy. The kimchi fried rice was ok, I'm not sure I'd get it again. I really enjoyed the goon mandu and would definitely order it again, it was crisp, the filling well seasoned and I especially loved the dipping sauce it came with. The shumai had an interesting spongy texture and nice shrimpy flavor which I enjoyed. Warning, the spicy sauce for the wings is not for the faint hearted! I was not prepared for that level of heat but if you enjoy really spicy food you'd like it. It was too much for me and my boyfriend who typically eats really spicy food. Thankfully, the sauce was on the side and the wings themselves were nice and crispy so we ate them without the sauce. The prices were reasonable and portions were large. I would definitely come back!

I ordered the Vegetarian Mixed Vegetable Tofu Soup (and asked to make it spicy). It was so good -- really deep flavors alongside a great level of heat. The tofu was delicious and perfectly soft. I really enjoyed their difference in bon chan and was delighted by their $.50 hot drink station at the front. It was cute and very whimsical to get a korean milk coffee out of a quickie machine that presents its own cup when you insert quarters like you're traveling abroad. I liked it a lot. When you're sitting in their little booths, it's also very private and you can also view their process of making tofu in the back on the televisions on the side while you eat it, which is very informative as well. Any waiter that hears the bell comes to your table to assist. The response never took longer than 20 seconds most of the time. To start the appetizer tray at the beginning is an awesome touch that I'm not used to in other places I have tried. It kind of took the guess work out of ordering in my opinion so I only had to focus on what meat or dish I wanted since my sides were already selected and refillable for free through the course of the meal. We ordered the seafood sundubu, beef bulgogi, and sweat and spicy korean fried chicken wings. The portion size was very generous on the wings and on the crispier side which my wife prefers. The seafood sundubu was delicious and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent amount of tofu and seafood types in the dish. The beef bulgogi was also tasty and as I said before just scratched that korean food craving that we had. This has been added to our rotation of date night locations for us! On the table there is a button to call the waiter for ordering or for any other needs. Each Korean restaurant seems to offer a bit of variety in their dishes, and sometimes a specialty dish that the others Korean restaurants do not. We started off with seafood pancake and it had shrimp, octopus and large green onion. I would have appreciated a bit more seafood, but it was cooked crispy on the outside and nice and thick. The dipping sauce was very good. We ordered beef bulgogi ssam-bap (serves 2) which traditionally can be eaten with a lettuce wrap, garlic and ssamjang (non-spicy red paste). It arrived with a diverse tray of greens, perilla leaves and carrots, samjang and garlic. The greens were enough to feed kennel of at least four rabbits. The beef was a fair amount however it was overcooked. It also arrived with a soup and ban chan of 8 items. These provide a variety of the traditional side dishes, or ban chan of Korean food. We also ordered a cold namyeong soup with a side of kalbi. The soup had daikon radish and is traditionally eaten in the summer. The kalbi had the tender soft meat that is its highlight. Overall, we had a great experience and while Korean food is traditionally a meal that runs about $20 a person, it has an aesthetic presentation, it is flavorful, especially with umami, and it is fairly healthy. I would definitely return again and it is a great place to enjoy the meal with other others.

This meal was a satisfying all-you-can-eat feast that balances quality meats, traditional Korean side dishes, and crowd-pleasing appetizers, topped by superior service from Jimmy. From the moment the food arrived, the presentation set the tone. The table was quickly filled with colorful banchan (Korean side dishes), including kimchi, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, pickled radish, fish cake, and potato salad. While these sides may seem simple, they play an important role in Korean BBQ, providing contrast to the rich grilled meats. The kimchi was fresh and vibrant, with a bright red color with plenty of spice and fermentation. The appetizers looked like a strong start to the meal. The japchae (glass noodles) were well-seasoned, offering a slightly sweet and savory flavor profile. The gyoza had a crisp golden exterior, suggesting a satisfying crunch before giving way to a savory filling. One standout appetizer was the corn cheese--a bubbling skillet of sweet corn and melted cheese that looked indulgent, comforting, and impossible to resist. The fried chicken also deserves mention; the crispy coating was perfectly golden and paired with a vibrant dipping sauce that added a sweet-spicy kick. The real star, however, was the barbecue itself. The platters of raw meat has excellent variety, with beautifully marbled cuts that promised flavor before they even hit the grill. Steak, in particular, was thick-cut and rich, tender and well-marbled. Once grilled, the meat developed an appealing caramelized exterior with just the right amount of char. There is something uniquely enjoyable about cooking your own food, sharing dishes, and pacing the meal at your own speed. The tabletop grill becomes the center of the dining experience, encouraging conversation and making the meal feel more like an event than simply dinner. The restaurant's atmosphere appears casual, clean, and focused on the food. The grill setup was well-integrated into the tables, and the overall dining area looked comfortable without unnecessary distractions. The emphasis remained where it should be: on the endless flow of food. For the price point shown on the menu, the value appears excellent. The combination of unlimited appetizers, numerous beef and pork options, seafood selections, and traditional Korean side dishes offers plenty of variety. Diners can sample multiple proteins and flavors without feeling restricted to a single entrée. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Korean BBQ enthusiast, this is a meal worth gathering friends and family around the grill for.

TL;DR The variety of food and some excellent service are…read morewhat brings us back. Notable lesson: Ask your server to let you know when the last order will be taken. Ambiance: Large dining area with ample seating. I'm partial to booths and this establishment has plenty. They also have tables in case you're not up for the AYCE. This is a place to enjoy food with others, especially with a grill in between. Not a fan of the smoke off the grill? There are no drop down exhaust fans that block conversations, but they're built into the table. Is it smokeless in the dining area? All I can say is if I can describe what people are having four tables away from me, I think it's alright. Food: Variety and choice meats are important, and they are both above sufficient for the two hours you get to dine AYCE. Whether you're an adventurous eater or not, there is something for everyone. I do stress it is a grilled food restaurant, so try not to expect much of some items like their bibimbap. Also, AYCE does not include drinks unless it's water. Service: We enjoyed every server we've had, but three stood out. Let's begin with the two who were especially unforgettable for good reasons. Emilee and Kelvin, thank you for your excellent service. Emilee's smile and manner made us feel welcomed and comfortable. As many tables as we saw her cater to, she never let us feel ignored. Kelvin is also a great team player. Just as knowledgeable of the menu as Emilee, he also jumped in to help so that none of the tables were left waiting. Both served us very well, and left us supremely impressed. When there is a time limit, this is absolutely important. No customer wants to feel like they paid too much to receive so little and wait for so long, regardless if it's AYCE. Which brings us to Sue. My husband remembers Sue as the server who refused to take our order after an hour, but most of her service time spent changing the grill (which is bizarre considering she didn't take many orders from us; more on that later). We sat at one of her eight booths at 11:34 am, and she abandoned us after taking two orders and changing our grill multiple times. Maybe Sue expected us to order all the items we wanted, stack all those orders on top of each other for the first hour, then the second hour we should just eat and not bother her anymore. I understand she didn't have a helpful team member, making service slow. I'm sure she knew her limits and so was quick to serve fillers like corn cheese and gyeran jjim. Another notable fact is our receipt showed we ordered multiples of items, but we NEVER recieved as many plates as she entered (because she didn't come to our table that many times to allow us to order). I am sorely disappointed she literally abandoned us for 30 minutes when we wanted to make our last order. When she finally came back to us at 1 pm, about 1.5 hours after being seated, she told us we've been seated longer than two hours and she can't serve us anymore. How did we pass the two hour limit when the restaurant opens at 11:30 am and she stopped serving us at 12:40 pm. If she had not abandoned our table and took our last order at 12:40 pm, we would have finished and left before the two hour time limit. Overall: 3.5 stars but rounding up because of other well-mannered representatives like Emilee's sister. 5 stars for all the times we visited and were not served by Sue. 2.5 star experience being served by Sue. Please don't enter orders that were not delivered; that seems fraudulent. Please be transparent with your customers when it comes to AYCE rules and your capability.
