The miso soup was extremely salty would recommend skipping. The ramen was also salty but not the worst I've had in phoenix so it was tolerable and decent price. The lunch bowl had veryyy little meat in it although it did taste good, needed more sauce. The gyoza saved the meal, definitely recommend getting this as an add on. So crowded during convention time so need to find an off time to come to beat the crowd. On normal days I'm sure it's fine.

First time here and it was great! I was with a group of girlfriends and we wanted a casual dinner before attending a concert at the Herberger Theater. This was perfect since we parked in the parking at Arizona Center which put us right across the street. The sushi (and other food) was fresh and delish. The staff was friendly as well.

Below average sushi. I think rice is old because it was so dry and hard to eat. The roll with soft shell crab is mostly fried tempura, barely any actual crab. Very disappointing

The beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura, soup and salad were all amazing. The spicy shrimp roll was too spicy and inedible. Nice little place to eat in a cool area with other eateries and roller skating rink.

Small restaurant but the service was good. Food came out of the kitchen as it was hot and ready. The ramen was pretty tasty as was the teriyaki chicken. The dinners come with salad and soup which was a good bargain.

As someone who works in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen, I understand the pressure and chaos that come with the job but what I witnessed here was beyond unprofessional, it was downright unsafe. While waiting for my food, I saw a cook eating on the line while wearing gloves and then continue prepping food without washing his hands or changing gloves. That's a major health code violation, and it shows a complete lack of respect for the safety of customers. I brought it up, and instead of addressing it properly, the staff brushed it off with attitude and no accountability. No apology, no correction just excuses. I did receive a full refund. There's no excuse for this. If this is what they're doing in plain sight, I can only imagine what's happening in the back. I won't be returning, and I seriously hope this place gets a proper inspection soon.

This place is in Arizona Center actoss from the Sheraton. You order at the register and if you're dining in they bring your food to you. I ordered an appetizer, one roll and green tea. The gyoza were fried too hard so I didn't enjoy those so much, but the "tootsie roll" I ordered was big for the price and very fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable and they have a good variety of rolls, bento boxes and meals. I'm in town for a conference and don't eat a lot for lunch so this place was perfect. I'm happy I found it.

They have really fantastic rolls, and they are all reasonably priced. Around $15 or $16 a roll. The fish is very high-quality and very well prepared. I will definitely be coming back.

Food: All foods are so warm and good Service: The owner was so nice to all of us. She gave us enough time to consider the menu. Ambiance: We visited this place around 4 pm. It was a good place to have conversation.

We ordered chicken and beef pho for takeout. Service was slow and workers ignoring me. A little messy inside. Chicken and beef pho had ok flavor although no other sauce or bowl for pho was provided. Meat was probably pan fried chicken and beef. Vegetables on the side were looking old. Noodles overcooked, probably rushed.

I was staying across the street at the Sheraton and omaide was one of the few places that was near by for food options. It's open seating here in the restaurant. You go up to the register and order your food and then they will give you either pager if you're getting your food to go or a number if you're dining in and it will bring your food to you when it's ready. I ordered a meal set with spicy Korean beef. I got my food to go but the wait was quite long. I knew it was trouble when I saw a lot of other guests sitting around and waiting and looking defeated. I knew I was in for a long wait. About 35 to 40 minutes later I finally got my food. The salad that it came with was pretty good and the miso soup was good. And the bottled green tea was great By the end of my way I wasn't really hungry and was more tired than anything. This wasn't necessarily a busy time either. They were close to closing so maybe they just got behind on their orders. Who knows. This probably happens fairly often when they run way behind on their orders since the waitress wasn't really phased by how things were going. A lot of the other reviews are kind of hit or miss. Hopefully you have a decent experience when you come here. With the law of averages, you will have a positive experience.

I was staying across the street at the Sheraton, there's not a whole lot of choices when it comes to food but decided to try this spot. Ordering went fine, they were very nice and attentive, it was very packed because an anime convention was happening and so it was extremely busy. We sat at a table that had leftover soda cups and trash, most tables were dirty and unattractive, BUT we overlooked that because again, busy time. We decided to still give it a try, and let the food speak for itself. The food came out fairly quick, but I was disappointed, not only were we served in cut out Styrofoam plates but the food was not very good, my friend and I ordered rice bowls and his burgogi meat was barely there , it was mostly rice , honestly a joke of a plate! I got the teriyaki chicken and let me tell you, it wasn't tasty. Both dishes were supposed to come with "steamed veggies" and that was also a joke, I had mostly bean sprouts and like a few strands of carrots. I was very disappointed, I ate most of my food cuz I was starving, but I'm definitely not coming back, so if you are looking for some good food, this ain't it, trust me.

Unfortunately, I visited today for the first time in a while and left feeling really disappointed, it's changed, and not for the better. I always order the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen (no meat, replace with egg, extra egg, add corn and cabbage). I was surprised to be told they no longer offer cabbage, which was one of my favorite additions. The eggs were also different. They used to be served whole, and I loved slicing into them to reveal that beautiful golden yolk. This time they arrived already sliced, and once the broth was added, the yolks started to cook. I was also given a side of arugula, which honestly has no place in a ramen bowl. It felt very out of place. There were also pickled carrots, which I ended up removing, not for me. The broth was noticeably greasier than before, which was another letdown. I immediately texted my best friend (the one who originally introduced me to this place) and she shared the same thoughts. She even mentioned telling her server, "Don't mess with a good thing," and that really sums it up. I'm truly sad to say this experience left me very disappointed, and I may have to start looking for a new ramen spot. WHHHHHHYYYYYYY

They were fantastic and quite large. I love them! For entrees, hubby got the Atlantic salmon with fingerling potatoes and I got the center cut filet with mashed potatoes and baby carrots. To start, our server brought out champagne once she knew we were celebrating our anniversary. This was a nice beginning to our evening! We ordered the Noble bread with truffle butter to start -- the bread was grilled quite a bit which I enjoyed but my partner did not. We also ordered the Crudo -- the sauce was delicate and had great, novel flavors however I was very disappointed in the serving size. For our entree, we shared the beef Wellington -- this is a special treat with the chef coming out to present it to us. It came with an order of mashed potatoes, duck confit and we also ordered the asparagus. Our daughter had a filet which came either mashed potatoes and carrots. The beef Wellington was tasty and cooked perfectly. The filet is covered in chimichurri and wrapped in a puff pastry. Best practice is to reserve it in advance to guarantee it as your entree. It was very rich and very filling -- I'm glad I tried it but I wouldn't order it again. The mashed potatoes were delicious and super creamy but the star of the show for me was definitely the asparagus -- perfectly cooked with the rich béarnaise sauce. Our service was not as great as I would have liked unfortunately. I noticed she was serving a larger party as well but I felt like given the price point for this restaurant, it was not acceptable. Overall, we were a bit underwhelmed and disappointed in our experience here. I'm glad we tried it but probably won't be back.

All 3 were delicious and easily able to be shared between 3 people. We transitioned into ordering the prime New York Strip and the Maitake mushroom to share. I have left a lot of reviews before but things have changed and I had to delete them and be more honest. So the ramen is poor quality, The only one that's kinda good is the spicy pork broth and it's 5/10 compared to other ramen. There is 10 other ramen shops within a 5 mile radius I'm not even kidding. I mean the meat is ok, they put bacon on a bunch of things, totally Americanized weird non authentic ramen. Wings are good. Calamari is good. But nothing here is good enough. It's a japanese noodle place but there's not a single bit of RICE in this entire restaurant. I wish they had rice bowls and crispy tuna rice and rice also makes sushi. They don't have any sushi or sushi adjacent things. I genuinely can't recommend them except for happy hour. I wouldn't go here for the normal priced hours because it's just not worth it. Arizona has such good ramen spots this place doesn't compare. Only people who don't eat ramen will think it's good the first time. I've heard people say they love the food. I even heard a white guy compare the TanTanMen to a meal he had in Japan. But people who are real foodies with high standards will be disappointed. I've brought friends who didn't want to pay and wanted their money back because the food was bad and they couldn't finish it. I feel so bad, so it's like I can't even recommend this place to anybody except for drinks. Me and my girls get drunk as hell here. They really need to look into other ramen shops and try the ramen and change their menu entirely and find a chef that can actually make ramen to make them more authentic. Jinya is 10/10 ramen Sosoba needs to restructure their flavors entirely. They need seasoning sauces like other ramen places too. They don't have fresh ground garlic, they just have hot sauces. If I redid the menu I'd revamp every noodle bowl. The broths are not good on the ramen they need to redo every single broth, there should be 3 meat ramens a vegan ramen and 3 noodle bowls that aren't ramen and one vegan noodle bowl that's not ramen. The vegan bowls they have now are flavorless with no salt or flavor. And people ask for salt with their food and no changes have been made still. It would be cool to sell an appetizer combo with wings, calamari, tofu. And another one with goyza, Bao buns, spring rolls like how chilis does. That would be interesting for summer. Bamboo is not listed on the items ingredients but it's in the food. And they added seaweed salad to the top of some items one day also not listed on the menu, Idk why but it didn't make anything better and made it worse. It used to be even cheaper than $9 a bowl but it's honestly never worth it, I hate the food here. My order is 8/10 tho! My order was always vegetarian sweet chili udon bowl with double tofu. The tofu is 10/10!!!!!!!!! Vegetarians can eat here but there's slight cross contamination. Tofu on everything. Get double tofu for happy hour. I've eaten the entire menu multiple times in 8 years... Food overall 4/10 The drinks are somewhat good, they don't do overly sweet, they're balanced drinks. The wells are good. $6 wells I think. They still don't have an espresso martini Tea and oranges is the best drink on the whole menu, they use vegan egg whites for the foam! Drinks overall 7.2/10 There's some weird employees who do not smile always in a bad mood. It's obvious who they are I'm not going to name them because they get complaints all the time. Some of them act un-phased, Unbothered, & not affected by customer complaints, they don't say sorry they just start doing Gen Z stare at any problem that comes their way. No customer service skills. Sosoba just fired the manager who's been running the joint for the last 5 years. Nikki was one of the best employees. I'm never going to Sosoba again because of something else, but finding out Nikki was fired was literally devastating. This current set of employees takes advantage of her and basically Sosoba fired the good person who doesn't create problems, tries to solve them, and is genuinely the best person ever. and they kept all the trouble makers and drug addicts and alcoholics on board. I only want to be served by Bella, Briana, Nikki, and Jordan. One employee has told me some really bad stuff I think needs to be talked about asap. I forget the owner's name Tyler?
