great prices, good fish, and cute interior. It looks like all of their rolls are continually marked down 50%, which is probably a marketing tactic but the resulting price is totally worth it. I think we paid $28 for the three rolls we got. The salmon lovers was SO good with the little lemon slice, the mango one was a little too overwhelmingly mango as I wasn't expecting the mango piece to be that big. Only issue was that it took a very long time to get the food, but that might be attributed to how popular this spot is getting! (and also it was valentine's day when I went )

It's definitely a HIDDEN GEM! It's not a lot of seating but one you get in you're feel comfortable and welcomed. My server is so polite and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered spicy salmon, SOS and spicy crunch. Also with miso sou

SUCH a good deal!!! The salmon combo comes with 5 (HUGE pieces of) salmon nigiri, and I opted for the salmon roll (also packed to the brim with salmon!). The salmon quality is spectacular, its juicy and fresh, with no fishy taste- all for an amazing price. My pick-up order was ready in 10-15 minutes, and they were so nice and let us sit at one of the tables during the dinner rush while we waited. The vibes in the restaurant seemed lively, yet cozy and familiar. I definitely am looking forward to coming back and dining at the restaurant, but sushi to-go from here is too good!! I'm drooling looking at my own picture, and I literally Just ate it.

Place is small, I went based on reviews. It was packed had a college kid vibe. We had to wait to be seated but there was no place to wait so we stood outside. Appetizers are small in size. 5 small tempura shrimp pieces. They were good. Could've had more flavor. Musubi was one piece. It was tasty. A lil sweet. Wish it was 2 pieces so it could be shared as an appetizer. Son had beef udon noodles. He enjoyed the dish. Great serving size not too little or too much. BF had the 12 piece sashimi he enjoyed very much. I had the Phoenix rising roll. It was good, little spicy. I will probably try something else next time. Service was not great. Never had our water filled. We felt a little rushed when ordering.

The manager on site today was extra attentive. Stopped by during busy lunch rush hour and king Salmon delivered again. This sushi spot is a go to for anyone in the vicinity. Prices are reasonable and food is always delicious. Vibes are energetic and Asian decor helps complete the experience. Can't wait to be back again.

A quiet spot ideal for a quick lunch. Super fresh raw salmon every single time I've been here. Friendly and efficient service. Super chilled lounge and jazz playing in the background.

Cute spot! Nice place to steal away for an out of office lunch with your work BFF. I can also imagine that it's a vibe at night too. It gave funky hole in the wall vibes. I carried out my order. The wait staff was pleasant and hospitable answering all of my first timer questions with patience and a smile. The rolls were delicious neat and well dressed. Even my husband was impressed. My veggie tempura was hot and delicious. I would come back next time I visit AZ.

Still my go to for sushi to go! Order online for 50% off rolls! Food is often ready before the pick up time.

Came by for dinner on a Monday night. Pretty busy as only a few tables were left. Menu had plenty options to choose from. Decided on a few appetizers, several nigiri, and the Thomas roll. Our orders came out quickly and left me impressed. My favorites were the seared nigiri and the Thomas. If you're looking for a good quick meal and great service, give this place a try.

Love the sushi: texture, taste profile, clean cut, fresh and made to order just how you want it! Quality is kept in tact, whilst beating competition with their pricing! PERFECT spot to visit for ANY occasion! Can't wait for a larger location! DELICIOUS, can't rave enough and the ambience is so relaxed. Can't wait to dine in again and again, I'm a loyal 'regular!' Picture was sub par, sorry- I was too busy devouring my scrumptious role & hot sake bombs!

After an appointment yelped for a sushi restaurant close by and saw the 4.7 rating so had very high hopes. As always, I started off with miso soup which was very flavorful but salty. All the rolls are 50 percent off but for example, regular price for a spicy tuna roll is $12, so 50 percent off of that is more in line especially as the rolls are on the smaller side. Felt like that was a gimmick to get people in. We ordered a combo of 7 pieces of nigiri and California roll $22- substituted with spicy tuna roll. They forgot to substitute so ended up getting an extra spicy tuna roll. The nigiri was fine, but the California roll was very salty and the spicy tuna roll was skimpy. It was just meh. All the specialty rolls are 50 pct off of $19.50. We had a really difficult time deciding as most seemed to be fried and heavily sauced. We chose Volcano Scallop roll- crab topped with spicy scallop, baked with spicy mayo, massago and eel sauce. This roll was incredibly salty and there was way too much mayo. Also ordered Spicy Geisha- spicy tuna, cucumber topped with salmon, jalapeño, massago and hot sauce. It was ok, nothing special. One of the chefs and a server brought us real wasabi on the house which was very nice. Service was fine but the food just was not satisfying. What really stood out was how salty everything was. Unfortunate as I had much higher hopes based on the rating.

Pretty good sushi for one being located at a strip mall. I was visiting from Seattle and wanted to grab a quick bite. I had like 4 other places I wanted to try but settled on King Salmon since it was down the street from my friends place and I wouldnt have to be outside for that long haha. I order the Thomas roll, Pacific roll and 3 pieces of seared salmon. I was so impressed by the seared salmon. It was double the amount of fish to rice. They do pretty well with the rice ratio for the rolls. I didn't find them too heavy. Fish were fresh. I didn't dine in so I cant speak for service but the staff I picked up from was really nice. Will definitely tell my friend to come here to grab food!

I came here for dinner with my husband. Our hotel is just 2 miles away. I was not too hungry so I just ordered some edamame and a salmon and avocado hand roll. My husband ordered some tuna nigiri and salmon nigiri and the SOS roll. Everything was absolutely amazing! So delicious! The prices are great too! The only issue I had was there was a party of 7 kids (in their 20's) sitting next to us who were SO LOUD! The girl sitting next to me would laugh so loud it literally hurt my ear. The acoustics are not good there. We could barely hear one another over the noise of the kids. The only other issue I had was the waitress's/ hostess (she was behind the counter, sat us, and took our order and brought out our food) forgot my edamame. She took our order, said "I'll go grab that edamame for you now" and then came back 15 minutes later with our meals. So I reminded her about the edamame and then she brought it out. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night. I would definitely return. Hopefully we will have a quieter time than last night.

It's located in an outdoor shopping center, and although the restaurant is on the smaller side, the interior design and decor reminded me of many of the Korean BBQ restaurants back home in California. It felt cozy and authentic. This is not an all-you-can-eat restaurant. We ordered the Small Beef Combo, 2 side of rice, Korean dumplings, and the strawberry basil lemonade. The only unlimited items are the traditional Korean side dishes. We were served five different banchan along with two salads. While they didn't bring every available side dish, the ones we received were actually very good. Unfortunately, the service is what ruined the experience for me. Our server, Huy, was also serving my friends' family seated at the table next to us. They had ordered the same Small Beef Combo. When Huy started grilling our brisket, he accidentally dropped one of our slices of meat onto the floor. He paused, clearly noticed it, and so did everyone at our table. However, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no offer to replace the piece. He simply continued cooking as if nothing had happened. A few moments later, he placed a Prime Ribeye on our grill. I told him we hadn't ordered that cut--it belonged to my friends' table. He then picked up the entire plate of raw ribeye from our grill and transferred it to their table. Even though they were our friends sitting right next to us, that didn't seem like proper food handling. When I mentioned the mix-up, he simply said the kitchen had made a mistake. Again, there was no apology. Toward the end of the meal, it seemed like Huy realized I was unhappy, but he never addressed either incident. The missing piece of brisket wasn't a significant financial loss, and the food itself was good. My disappointment was with the service. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What matters is acknowledging them, apologizing, and making a reasonable effort to make things right. A simple apology and replacing the dropped piece of meat would have completely changed my impression. Because of the service, I don't plan on returning, which is unfortunate because the food and atmosphere were otherwise enjoyable.

I really wanted something with their house made tofu in it, and the oyster soft tofu soup sounded just right for me. It was a bubbling hot concoction served with a bowl of mixed purple and white rice with bits of squash mixed in. The soup was so good! It had a good amount of oyster and the broth was spot on. The tofu was just the right consistency for the soup and tasted great. You can request your spice level and the medium was just right for me. The rice was also really good and well prepared. The banchan we had for lunch were kimchi, marinated cucumber, seaweed, fish cake, and pickled cabbage and beet. The restaurant itself is spacious and we had our pick of seats. The walls in between tables are high enough to allow for privacy. Service was good and we were checked on as needed. I couldn't finish the meal so I took the rest of the soup and rice to go. Come to think of it, I've only been to a few Korean restaurants, two which served Korean corn dogs and the other I ordered a Japanese dish. As I was telling a friend about all this, she suggested we have lunch together at one, and I suggested this spot. I'd been in this complex before and this restaurant is stand alone on the NE corner of Dobson and Main in Mesa. Plenty of parking as we arrived at their opening hour of 11am. We chose a table towards the back and our server brought us water in a reusable bottle and steel cups, pretty cool. There is a QR code on the table to view the menu and a drawer on the end with napkins, spoons, and chopsticks. Never seen anything like that and thought it was clever. The Kpop music playing was a fun touch. I had perused the menu previously and liked that they had a separate vegetarian section. Although I am not vegetarian, I do like to eat it because it helps me avoid pork. I was in between their soup and bibimbap and decided to order the vegetarian tofu hot stone bibimbap ($16.50). Gotta try the tofu as it's in the name, and it's housemade which is neat. Our food did not take long to arrive and they were presented steaming and crackling, love that. My bowl was lovely and had tofu and veggies including sprouts, carrots, and bok choy. The rice on the bottom kept cooking so it became crunchy and delicious. The server brought us hot sauce (gochujang?) and I asked for soy sauce, since there was no sauce or flavor added to my bowl. I did like that it was fresh and healthy, and a good portion. I would've ordered the tofu bibimbap from the regular section since it comes with an egg on top, maybe next time. I was most excited about their banchan and trying the different small dishes. I did like that our server told us all the items in it were vegetarian except the fish cakes, that was helpful. Wondering why there was an empty space in the plate, though. I really enjoyed the fish cakes, the kimchi, and pickled cucumber as the latter two came in a tasty hot sauce. Not a big seaweed fan but it was fine, and the pickled beets/cabbage were on the sweet side but refreshing. We had a nice lunch here and this was a good introduction to Korean food! I'd be interested in trying more items in the future as the appetizers and soups looked appealing.

We came on a weekday afternoon, so it wasn't busy when we arrived. We got seated within the 10 minutes since they were setting up the tables for us. Ordering is fairly easy since they offer combos depending which meats you like more. Everything we ordered was good quality. My favorite meat cuts were the beef tongue, brisket and the intestines. If you're not into eating inside parts of animals, I would recommend getting the brisket or kalbi cuts. The Banchan (sides) were good too. They had fish cake, kimchi, pickled radish and cucumbers available. We also tried the tofu soup, steamed egg and corn cheese which all came out hot and tasted flavorful. This spot is a-la-carte, so you order off the menu and pay by items. My only downside is that they didn't have rice paper here since I don't really eat the white rice since it fills me up too quickly. Other than that, I would come back here again next time I'm visiting family. Service here was awesome too! We were checked on throughout our whole meal and the servers were friendly.

If Korean BBQ is all about abundance, flavor, and the experience of gathering around a sizzling…read moregrill, Manna BBQ delivers on all three fronts. This meal was a satisfying all-you-can-eat feast that balances quality meats, traditional Korean side dishes, and crowd-pleasing appetizers, topped by superior service from Jimmy. From the moment the food arrived, the presentation set the tone. The table was quickly filled with colorful banchan (Korean side dishes), including kimchi, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, pickled radish, fish cake, and potato salad. While these sides may seem simple, they play an important role in Korean BBQ, providing contrast to the rich grilled meats. The kimchi was fresh and vibrant, with a bright red color with plenty of spice and fermentation. The appetizers looked like a strong start to the meal. The japchae (glass noodles) were well-seasoned, offering a slightly sweet and savory flavor profile. The gyoza had a crisp golden exterior, suggesting a satisfying crunch before giving way to a savory filling. One standout appetizer was the corn cheese--a bubbling skillet of sweet corn and melted cheese that looked indulgent, comforting, and impossible to resist. The fried chicken also deserves mention; the crispy coating was perfectly golden and paired with a vibrant dipping sauce that added a sweet-spicy kick. The real star, however, was the barbecue itself. The platters of raw meat has excellent variety, with beautifully marbled cuts that promised flavor before they even hit the grill. Steak, in particular, was thick-cut and rich, tender and well-marbled. Once grilled, the meat developed an appealing caramelized exterior with just the right amount of char. There is something uniquely enjoyable about cooking your own food, sharing dishes, and pacing the meal at your own speed. The tabletop grill becomes the center of the dining experience, encouraging conversation and making the meal feel more like an event than simply dinner. The restaurant's atmosphere appears casual, clean, and focused on the food. The grill setup was well-integrated into the tables, and the overall dining area looked comfortable without unnecessary distractions. The emphasis remained where it should be: on the endless flow of food. For the price point shown on the menu, the value appears excellent. The combination of unlimited appetizers, numerous beef and pork options, seafood selections, and traditional Korean side dishes offers plenty of variety. Diners can sample multiple proteins and flavors without feeling restricted to a single entrée. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Korean BBQ enthusiast, this is a meal worth gathering friends and family around the grill for.

I think coming here once is fun but not sure I'll go back. For $30 a plate, we had NEVER been here…read moreand didn't know what to expect. The waiter showed up looking like he was being held hostage for having to work. I figured everyone's had an off day so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I let him know we had not been here before and asked if he could make sure to explain how it works. I got a mumbled answer about how many pieces you can order at a time. I asked how we will know what each meat is, is it labeled? He said no he'd tell me. The rest was frustrating. Not only did he set the meat down and literally dash away as fast as possible, if I asked what it was I was met with annoyance. When I asked for some forks, for a table of 9, he brought exactly two and then disappeared. When I got up and found someone to ask for forks, I was told I HAD to get those from my server. When I asked if they could just go grab some since he disappeared and wasn't coming back, I was told no. We had to ask him. I finally asked directly if the host could just let our waiter know. We got the forks and after that he seemed to come around more but we just felt like the entire time we were guessing on how it worked. I mean, it's not rocket science I get that but as a table full of people who worked in the restaurant industry (and some who currently still do, even one who's family owns a restaurant) we were scratching our heads at how BAD the service was. $400 later, not worth it even a little bit. It was fine for my daughter's birthday but we just felt like we were bothering the waiter the entire time. They add gratuity to large parties and now I see why. He didn't really need to try, because he was getting the tip regardless I guess.
