I absolutely love this grocery store and I hate grocery shopping. The quality of the produce and meat is always top notch and even better than I can find at stores such as Whole Foods. The prices are also fantastic, especially if you're a rewards member. They often have BOGO deals on meat, produce and other various sundries. If it's not that, then it's really good "buy so many, save $" type deals that are always easy to get. The selection is wonderful. As previous reviewers have said, this is a huge store and it is never a struggle to find whatever you may need. The staff is always very sociable and helpful. I always have my children with me when I shop there and there are always at least two employees who will always engage and interact with my children. Aside from the nice staff, the store is also well staffed. They always have enough employees so that you're not waiting too long at the deli counter, to check out, etc. The ONLY negative is that this store can be very crowded, especially at peak shopping times (weekend mid-mornings and after work). I just see that as a by-product of being a very good, high-quality store. read more

I've shopped at King Soopers for 24+ years and it's always been my go to grocery store but the last 3 visits I've gotten produce, it's rotten upon opening. I finally emailed them about it and all I got was an apology and $30 of wasted food. Needless to say I now shop at Safeway. read more

Probably not a good idea to be rude to sick people at a pharmacy. If you don't like your job find another one. I felt like I was bothering these employees. So, you guessed it, I'm pulling my prescriptions from there and making sure my friends and family know to do the same. Very subpar service at the self serve checkout. I scanned my beer last knowing it would need an ID check. The two young ladies at the counter were very busy in their own conversation. I noticed my light wasn't on so I thought maybe they didn't know I needed help. I waved at them and the heavy young lady said, "not me" and walked away, and the other girl said "I'm coming, I'm coming." It's too bad that two immature girls can have such a negative impact on a beautiful and clean store. read more

This is for the pharmacy. The lady who tried to help me check in my script was rude and didn't appear to know what she is doing. Went to the Safeway pharmacy right after and had no issues. Wish I had gotten her name. Had dark hair, about 5'2 or so. Research them before using them. read more

This King Soopers has everything. I've shopped there since it's opening and there are some wonderful long term employees who are outstanding. Recently, we were assisting the voters and accepting ballots. One employee who was placed on "light" duty because on a hand injury. All the days he was working he was an outstanding employee directing customers to our table, to the store, keeping the entrance clear, and retrieving and plugging in the electric carts. Robert Dennis is an excellent self motivated employee who, unsupervised, did his "light" duty with an admirable work ethic. Today I went to the gas station to fill up and I locked my keys and my phone in my car. TJ the gas station attendant went above and beyond to help me. Let me use his personal phone to get ahold of my parents (who live across the country) and stood out in the cold to help me flag down the locksmith to come unlock my car. I just relocated jobs to north College and have been to this King Soopers a hand full of times now. I'm a very loyal customer and have always loved to shop with King Soopers here in Ft Collins. Everyone is always friendly and hard working in all the locations I have been, however this location is NOT THAT WAY! I have been stopping by this locating on my way to work for the past couple of weeks now and it seems my experience has gotten worse and worse. I hope that the company secret shops this location and corrects the employees that are bringing this locations customer service down. I would think that being the only Marketplace in Ft collins, the CUSTOMER SERVICE expectations of the employees would be ALOT HIGHER! read more

I love this place! Every time I go in I find more than I needed! I love the whole housewares side and the markdowns are amazing with a capital A! Customer service is awesome. The parking lot at the King Soopers Marketplace is a disgrace! Some of the trees are half dead--and have been for several years. Some of the islands only have stumps--and have been that way for several years. It makes the shopping experience depressing before you even enter the store. read more

A recent review by Dan L. about the poor service in the meat department inspired me to share my experience as well. My wife and I went to the N. College location and were looking for some top round to cut into stir fry strips. We split up to maximize shopping efficiency, and when we got back together my wife was clearly upset. The butcher had scoffed at her request to cut the meat, and told her to shop at a butcher shop for any customized orders. I know that this isn't the policy of King Soopers, or the larger Kroger brand, because we have frequented a number of their stores in Colorado and Ohio and have never experienced such a rude and unprofessional interaction with the meat department. While the rest of this location lives up to the brand, something needs to be done with the management of the meat department. read more

I am reviewing the pharmacy. I was forced to go here by my insurance company. They are awful. You are merely a computer input. They shorted me on my perscription. Told me my doctor s office refused to give me an early perscription which I only needed because they shorted me. I called my doctor and they had no record of their request. Too bad. Their computer said I was wrong so that was that. I will now argue with my insurance company. And btw I filled a perscription in CA and was told I couldn't renew my perscription because I'm only allowed one change. WTF with all of them. read more

We stopped at King Soopers after we went to Jax New Years Day because I wanted to pick up more cans of Kuner green beans at the 2 for $1 that they had going on. They has the 10/$10 sign up, but also a sign saying they were actually 2 for $1. I got 12 and headed to the self check out. They rang up at $1 each. I explained to the gal at the stands and she had a courtesy clerk go back and check and he came back and said that they were the 10/$10 and my husband took him back to physically point to the sign that said 2 for $1 and he verified it to the checker and she had to call a manager because she didn't know how to void the transaction and he had to try and find out why they were price at 10/$10 and not the price that I told him that they were and also the courtesy clerk said. By this time we had been at the check out for about 15 minutes and the manager said that he was going to now need to look and verify if my husband AND the courtesy were in fact looking at the right sign and I finally had enough and said we need to leave. He changed into a very angry and impatient person with us and said FINE. I tried to explain that we had been there way too long and that the price was right and it was verified by his employee. He then told me that the clerk was new and made some other lame excuse and I just walked out. Horrible customer service over what was right in the first place. I will never go to this store again - other King Sooper stores will get my business as I worked there for 4 years when I was in college and shop there all the time, but this manager is way to nasty. read more

I feel kind of weird reviewing a grocery store, but I love this place. I love every King Soopers, but this one is great. It's huge, so it has an awesome selection. They even have sushi! And it's not bad (when you consider the price and the fact that it's grocery-store sushi). They have a Little Clinic, which is awesome. We live nearby, and when we need a flu shot or something, I love knowing that we can just pop in. Their produce is fresh! The prices aren't always the best, but they have ripe avocados, and some of the most beautiful garlic bulbs (also a weird review, I know, but that's what I buy!). They're always stocked, and if they are not they are super friendly and help you find solutions. read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used. Been using this pharmacy for years and must say over the past 3 to 4 years the service has gotten even worse. Prescriptions are never available when I try to fill them and usually takes a day and a half. On numerous times they have called me to tell me a prescription is ready for pickup and when I drive down their it is not. The people are unfriendly and I have caught them lying to me on numerous occasions. I will never use this pharmacy again. read more
