This review applies ONLY to one aspect of the King Soopers operation at Eagle Drive in Loveland Colorado. My entire family primarily drinks canned seltzer water. The only KS seltzer we like if the Mandarin Orange. But this store NEVER stocks enough. It sells out in just a few minutes, and they don't get around to restocking for days. The shelves will be full of Cranberry Lime and other flavors, but zero orange. The fact that they always sell out of orange almost as soon as it hiets the shelves which the other stuff gluts the shelves should be telling them something about sales patterns. But duh!, they just don't get it. The pharmacy has been a pit of vipers for many years, and they have done nothing about that, either. So this review is probably a waste of time. Update. I will never return to this particular King Soopers. I would rather drive 10 more miles than experience what I always experience at this one on Eagle Drive. Every time I shop, I have to remind the cashier that the items I am buying are 'mine' and I prefer my items to not be shoved so that they collide into other items. I am not picking my groceries out of the sale bin and therefore fully expect my canned goods, my glass items, my produce, my meats, to be in good condition and not banged around! In addition to the cashiers being under the gun by management to get the customer through the check out in record time so that some unfortunate soul does not have to wait one extra minute ( that is what express lanes and self check out is for) I never ever ever have a bagger helping me. I bag 99% of my own groceries and trying to keep up with the fast pitch from the cashier it is very stressful! Today, there were two baggers on one line goofing around and no, one was not in training, I 'know' these people since I have been going to this store since the doors opened. Today, I lost it! I just started throwing my own groceries into the cart without bagging and even then my items were still flying down the counter! Good lord! Why can't the normal lines be lines where the cashier actually talks to you as if you were paying good money for groceries that keeps them in a job. Why are there never enough baggers? Not saying I am above bagging my own groceries, believe me, at this King Soopers that is my job when I go in ... every single time. I have even had baggers walk away from my items to go bag on another line because they just happen to know the person going through the line. I am done. When I go to other stores and I am bagging my groceries because there is no help, the cashier actually stops scanning, and starts bagging too, to make room for the rest of the items in my cart. Like the smell of cigarette smoke? Well this is the store for you. Why in the world would the management of this store set up the employee smoking area right outside the front door of the store? You have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in the store and walk back out through it leaving the store. read more

Grocery store is fine as many others have stated, but the pharmacy is horrible. I realize they are very busy, but it's pretty ridiculous when the pharmacist calls you to say your Rx is ready and you get there and not only is it not ready it was slated to be filled the following day. read more

We have been long-time loyal customers but Jackie is dishonest and rude. She said she applied the points that for some reason did not show on our receipt but when we followed up with the 800 number customer service, we were told no points had been added. King Soopers main customer service took care of it but you have to wonder when a store employee lies about something so minor, what else is going on... read more

This is strictly for your Pharmacy! You guys are so incredibly rude and unhelpful. You treat people like they are a nuisance. I had a horrible experience once before and chalked it up to someone having a bad day. Until the last few days of calling and trying to figure out an error from my Doctor or a system issue, I probably spoke to every single pharmacy employee.I've decided that I am finished giving you my business all together. Grocery shopping and pharmacy. In every call, which was like eight, I was treated like I was a nuisance. we have shopped in this store since we moved to Loveland 16 years ago Everyone there has always been very pleasant, polite, and helpful. The pharmacy staff is great. we have ordered many birthday and graduation cakes over the years and have been very happy with the quality most of these were last minute orders.Last year the floral department did an outstanding job preparing two beautiful arrangements for my daughters memorial service.I am in that store two or three times a week I have never had a bad experience and I am a grumpy person who is always in a hurry. read more

Wow horrible experience here today. Might I add that I am a bit of a king soopers aficionado as I have shipped at almost all of them in northern Colorado. I realize they move things around, I get that too and most of the time it makes sense. However here I am on a Monday. The place is packed which shocks me usually its weekends that are bad. The fruit selection is poor, they don't have any garlic! Really!? Usually it's pretty bountiful and it was obvious the big square that had them there was barren and totally noticeable. The one star goes to the stocker that asked if I was finding everything ok (that was before I noticed no garlic). Anyway, I usually try and buy organic or natural foods if possible (no I'm not a tree hugger or from boulder) and they were out of the bacon from simply brand. Actually they just didn't have it. Every KS I shopped at in Fort Collins has it? So two things they don't have. I needed to but some potato salad for a party and lo & behold no potato salad. Really?!?! At this point I'm pretty pissed. But I haven't grocery shopped in two weeks so I'm desperate. The set up of the aisles is horrible. They aren't all the same size and they have absolutely no rhyme or reason. They were clean in that the food was stacked nicely but so is every other KS. I found the juice/dairy section laid out horribly with too many things blocking that area and there were tons of people so it was hard to navigate. I was so flustered by now that I wanted to get out of there fast. Well I picked a line and the checker was SLOW as molasses and I couldn't change lines bc there were a ton of people. I watched as people w more in their cart breezed by me. The checker looked like he was on something and the bagger was obviously new. I was watching him ring and the bagger was so slow even w a slow checker that the apples and fruit I got were almost all rolling out of the bags on the conveyor belt so I grabbed them and he just snickered?!? He overpacked majority of the bags and when I got to the car I noticed he didn't do any of them properly except the eggs and the cereal. He put my bread in with canned goods and smashed the hell Out of it. I had a bag break on the way into the house and lost most of my raspberries. I used to be a cashier/bagger back in the day and trust me it doesn't take much forethought on how to bag things properly. Overall I will never return to this store. I have never been a huge fan of Safeway but the one off Eisenhower is a very nice store and always well stocked. The other KS in town is a mess bc they are expanding so I will wait & see when it's done. The parking situation over there is atrocious. Anyway, steer clear of this store and yes king soopers on eagle drive get your act together, this was a hot mess. Learn how to Stock your shelves and hire ringers and baggers that are fast, efficient and smart. There's a ton of high school and young adults that need good jobs. That is all. read more
