We decided to stop at King Street Grille for dinner on a whim, and man, I'm so glad we did! The place has great outdoor seating with tall tables and tall chairs as an option. The atmosphere was perfect for a casual night out. Not too loud, good lighting, and the decor has that fun sport feel without being over-the-top cheesy. Our server was super friendly and quick with recommendations, which was nice because the menu has a ton of options. I went with the grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce and bacon, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy, the bacon crispy, and that sweet tangy BBQ tied it all together. Fries on the side were hot and seasoned just right. If you're in the area looking for solid, no-fuss American food with a beach twist, definitely hit this place up. This restaurant is located in a nice area with lots of shopping so it's easy to locate and there's plenty of tables. You can choose indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was a lovely day. We really enjoyed sitting outside to people watch plus enjoyed the cool breeze. I ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious. The salad was fresh and there was plenty of chicken that came with the salad. The chicken was cooked well and flavorful, and the salad dressing was fresh and was a creamy honey mustard flavor. This salad allowed you to choose five toppings and there were many options. That's always fun when you want to make the salad your own type of salad bar. Sat outside on the patio on a relatively busy Thursday evening for dinner. The casual sports bar vibe was great for us grabbing a bite after our flight into Myrtle Beach. Service was a little bit slow, but it was pretty busy with some sort of Little League sports team. That was also at the restaurant. We got a variety of sandwiches as a table, everything was serviceable but not fantastic, would recommend as a super casual and easy spot to grab a drink and quick bite. read more

We brought our fur baby with us and sat in the courtyard outside. It was a beautiful day. We were waited on promptly, enjoyed our tea and ordered lunch. I got the fish and chips which was good but heavily breaded. It came with waffle fries, and blue cheese coleslaw. Everything was quite tasty except the coleslaw. If there was blue cheese in it, neither I nor my husband could taste it. I believe he got the hots. Two hotdogs with mustard, chili and onions. It came with waffle fries also. Would I come back here? Went here for the 1st time on Sunday September 14th 2025 with my parents and a couple of friends. We were a party of 7. Located in Market Commons, this restaurant is on the corner. Great views of the city like view is by the window. For parking either one has to parrarell park or park in one of the garages. We were seated right away. I also grabbed a coupon book that was by the host stand. Started reading it too. Oh and this is a bar restaurant that shows sports games and the servers and host wear sports themed memoriblia. They were showing the football games that were on that day. Can get noisy from people cheering. This has bar food like sandwiches and appetizers as well as some select chicken and fish dishes. The host sat us right away, and our server greeted us right away. We got waters for our table, and the waitress was great about doing our separate checks. My dad ordered a beer and so did some others in our party. We also started with appetizers like boneless wings. The boneless wings came out in a timely manner.the chicken was tender and delicious! For entrees, I ordered the salmon with mash potatoes and asparagus, and my parents got burger entrees. I enjoyed the salmon and thought it was very delicious! The other people in our party also enjoyed the food. Oh and restrooms were clean. Be forewarned though that there is only 2 stalls in the women's restroom. Clean and easy to find though. We paid our bill with a credit card and left a cash tip. We hope to be back soon! read more

I was in the area for work for two days and had the chance to eat at King Street Grille. I was really impressed. Yesterday, I had the fish and chips. The fish was fresh, flaky, and had a sweet, flavorful batter that made it stand out. One of the best I've had in a while. Today, I tried the half-pound burger, and it was great. Juicy, packed with flavor, and came with big, crispy waffle fries. My dining partner had the shrimp egg rolls with a twangy house-made sauce, and they were absolutely delicious. One thing I really liked is that they still do things the old way, making most of their dressings and sauces in-house. You can taste the difference. The place is super clean with a great bar area and a solid local crowd. They have close to 30 TVs, so if you're looking for a place to catch the game, chances are it's on. They also have outdoor dining, and the patio is dog-friendly. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, drinks, or just to watch the game, this is a sports bar done right. Definitely worth checking out. read more

After going for lunch, I can see why. The food is delicious, the staff has great energy, and they have drink specials all day long. The one item on the menu I would like to put on spotlight is the Black "N" Blue Tenderloin. This dish is phenomenal! I'm am actively writing this in the restaurant after I just ate the best dish I have ever had. I don't know what crack they put into that 5 herb salmon or if Gordon Ramsay was cooking today but I have to say that I only get to come to Myrtle once and year and if I come back and it's off the menu I'm going to ball my eyes out and speak to the manager. This was so good and the wings were just as amazing as well as the black and blue medallions. I just gotta say wow that was so good I am so stuffed right now I could go on a tangent about it. My sister and I met up for lunch. We had planned on going to Tupelo honey because I had my dog with me and I saw they allowed pets. Unfortunately their patio isn't covered and it was raining and super windy so they weren't an option anymore but we saw king street grille right next door with a covered enclosed patio! Christmas miracle! We were the only ones eating out there. The tables weren't the cleanest but they probably havent had people sitting out there since it's been colder out. Our server was nice, he wasn't very engaging but he was nice enough. I ordered their bbq bacon cheeseburger and asked for the bacon on the side. I don't eat bacon but I knew my dog would enjoy it. I asked for the burger to be med rare. It was cooked to perfection!! It was an absolutely delicious burger. Burgers are my favorite food and I'm pretty picky. This one was outstanding. Thick and juicy and flavorful. It came with waffle fries that have maybe a Cajun seasoning. Delicious. My sister ordered a veggie quesadilla and a salad. She said everything was very good. She added avocado to her quesadilla ($3 up charge just so you know) I also ordered a bourbon drink. It maybe was called the bourbon smash. It was good. Could have been stronger. It had nice flavor but was forgettable. All in all it was a lovely experience. My only complaint is an odd one...they charged me $.75 to have the bacon on the side. I didn't ask for extra bacon, just for the bacon that comes on the burger to be put on the side instead of on the burger. There were only 2 pieces so I know I didn't get extra bacon. But for some reason they charged $.75 for it to be on the side. I didn't even ask about it because I'm super passive and anxious so that's never something I'd ask about but it seems like a weird charge. If I asked for extra bacon I'd understand but for them to charge to NOT put bacon on my burger and just set it on my tomato and lettuce there on the side was the strangest thing I've seen on a receipt in a while. I ordered the bang bang shrimp egg rolls as an appetizer and they were so beyond greasy, I mean a puddle of oil. I'm not sure why they didn't place a napkin underneath of the right when they came out of the fryer. they were soggy from sitting in so much oil. I'm not a complainer, but when the waitress asked if everything was good, I did let her know that they should put a napkin underneath in the future. She agreed and said she will let the manager know. I will probably never come here again, because the food just wasn't very flavorful. I wish I could figure out how to add a photo, because I did take a photo of the oil filled plate. The Market Commons location has become our families favorite (with 2 teenage boys)! They have an excellent outdoor patio with plenty of TV's for a great sports ambiance. Customer service needs much improvement. We were sitting outside when it began to rain hard. The water was coming through the covered seating area and we were getting soaked. We turned to a server and asked if we could move to another table. The server heard us but just turned and walked away so we had to flag down two other servers before we were finally helped. Secondly, we ordered appetizers and entrees and our entrees came out before the appetizers. Midway through the entrees the appetizers finally came out which we no longer wanted. This combined with being soaked and ignored made it a very uncomfortable experience. Top top it off we were never offered a comp to make things better. That being said the food was pretty good but not good enough to put up with such poor customer service. Will not return. read more

For no reason I'm in particular, I came in to this meal with decently low expectations, but the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich knocked it out of the park. It was a Parm crusted chicken breast topped with pesto, marinara, provolone cheese on a toasted baguette, and I don't what it was, but the mix of everything was so good. We sat on the patio, and it was nice. The music was a little loud and it did not really seem to fit the vibe of the restaurant but it was not obnoxious and the shade was nice. The waitress was very nice, but did take a little time to come back here and there. We went there with a group and got there early (around 5:30pm on Friday). There were plenty of open seats. Within an hour the place was full and there were numerous people waiting for tables. The food tasted great and the portions were plentiful. Megan, our server, was great- she was very attentive, friendly, and provided good recommendations.
