Installed one in 9/25. ( King Whole House) The white mineral deposits are freaking insane. I bowl a small saucepan of water and it takes strong vinegar to clean it. Appliances and water fixtures are stained. My hair is like straw. Water taste- gross. Ugh-when it's laundry tine. Still using bottled water for everything but dishes- etc; Absolutely cringe at shower time. I'd like to dump it in Lowes parking lot. Now we get to purchase a new water softener ( the removed one was fairly new) & salt pellets. ( husband gave 5 bags away) Other alternative. Replace all the galvanized plumbing. read more

We have had our system for over a year. It was installed in February 2025. We have had no issues with it. We took in samples of our water from various faucets in our house and they tested it right there primarily for the chlorine levels and it was satisfactory. read more

The best water treatment we have had for our restaurant. I drastically notice the improvement in our soups and soda fountain due to the treated water. The white residue left in my water glasses, on my shower stall doors and in our new dishwasher AFTER installation of this $6,000 Wayde King water Conditioner system is unappealing. You must install a water softener to reduce the gross white residue. I tried applying RainX to shower stall doors and it didn't work more than a few days. You can't apply RainX to drinking glasses or your dishwasher to reduce the amount of white residue. Can not recommend. Read the contract they require you to sign. read more

Do not use this company!!! I have a king water softener system this I purchased eight or so years ago. Recently something in my garage starting beeping. I believed it was my King water filter system. So, I called the company and booked an appointment, I told them it was beeping and it needed something fixed. The person on the phone, who knew nothing was wrong with the system booked me an appointment at the cost of $95.00. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Mike came out and looked at the LED on my tank. He adjusted the clock and the cleaning schedule. At this point I figured out it was not my water filter that needed the service, too late. SO, that is my mistake that I paid for, life happens. Well, Mike having absolutely no self-control decided to destroy my LED on my take. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I kept the clear plastic file on the LED screen to keep the screen clean and safe. It is in my garage and if I open the door on a windy day stuff will start blowing around, things like license plates and metal signs. Well, Mike decided that he wanted to remove the clear protective cover form my water take LED screen. Mike did not ask my permission to remove it, there was absolutely no reason to remove it other than Mike wanted to unwrap something that's not his. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! When I asked why he destroyed my property he said to make it easy to read the screen. Mike looked at the screen and adjusted it with the protective file on with no problem. Mike just has the self-control of a child and wanted to destroy something that is not his. When I contacted the company, I got a response of, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! "Your concerns have been forwarded to me for a response. First let me assure you that Mike did not harm your property by removing the plastic covering on the LED of the valve. Frankly, that type of plastic sticky covering is used on most LED screens on several different types of devices in this day and age. That sticker is usually removed at the time of installation as it makes the screen much easier to read by removing an unnecessary obstruction." DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I did not get an apology for their tech destroying my property, no offer to fix the issue, just the company making excuses for Mike who likes to destroy other people's property, and if the CLEAR file is such an obstruction, how did Mike manage to adjust the setting with the clean film on the LED screen. I got the king water system from lowes and I have had it for almost 1 year & I still love it. no maintenance is lovely. The white scale build up on my pool is gone along with all the faucets. I have additional RO for my drinking water so that still tastes great. I think home water filtration is expensive in general but the value of the product was certainly there for me. My skin & hair feels so much better. I recommend 100% for those wanting conditioned water with no maintainance. read more

I would never recommend this system. We have black faucets in our kitchen & two bathrooms & all I do is constantly try to clean the calcium from them. The faucets always have a slimy mess on them after a week. To pay over $6,000.00 for a water system & have this much maintenance is a crime. I should have gone back to a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink & gone back to using a salt water system for the rest of the house. read more

Referred to by a friend Shawn Knox. He was happy with his system so I decided to install a series 4 in my manufactured home. I'm getting older and the 40 pound salt bags are getting too heavy to transport on my own. This system is salt free, incredible warranty, and was given a veteran discount. Adam came out looked at the home and decided that the system below the one I thought was needed was not necessary for my home. My Culligan system, after 13 years of usage, started to give me problems. I decided to go to the King Whole House Filter system. I purchased it through Lowes and installed it myself. All the plumbing had already been there from the Culligan system so it was just a matter of connecting the proper hoses. I did have occasion to contact King to answer a question about programming the timer, etc. The person at King was very helpful and I got it programmed in a matter of minutes. This review is not in reference to their install/maintenance because we did not get past the first person I talked to on the phone. My husband was told by ADAM (who seems to reply to comments on Yelp - curious to see his response to this): "sounds like you do not have the budget to do what you want to do" Details: We called King Filtration to get a quote on a new system. Adam picked up, told him I am looking for a system but also want to get the water tested first. He said he could get the water tested for $200 and if we bought the system they would reimburse that amount. Asked us if that'd be something I'd be interested in, we replied "No I don't think so, thank you". His response: "Sounds like you don't have the budget to do what you want to do" I'm shocked. For some background info: We just bought a $600k house on a brand new well and have plenty in the bank for renovations. Not including that to brag, simply reference to prove my budget is more than enough for what I plan to do. Either way an unnecessary comment in this or any situation. Ridiculous. This again is not in reference to any service I was provided during install, maintenance etc. Couldn't get past Adam on the phone! Good luck to anyone that uses them. read more

These filtration systems are amazing. We had one installed and it filters the whole house's water. The water coming out of my shower is good enough to drink and there is no slippery salty feel to it just pure h2o. I've had water softeners before but this is by far the best. The rep we spoke with answered all our questions and concerns. They are very responsive as well. Probably my favorite part of this is it's maintenance free! I bought the system from Sams Club about a month ago. I was told by Charlie that after the installation he would come to my house and test the water to make sure everything was alright. It never happened, it was installed by his unprofessional plumbing company who insulted me in my own home. I had to kick them out of my house as no woman should be talked down by men performing service at her own home. They must had told Charlie I was difficult client so he decided not to follow up on my installation and check up as he promised he would. I know I bought the system but I still don't know if my water is safe to drink no one came to check as I was told during the purchase at Sams Club by Charlie Luxx. Hi my name is Diane I purchased the Wayde king whole house water filtering system at Homedepot The sales representative is name Richard Romero He explains to me how the system works and I was very interested so I purchased it October 6, 2019. As I go to the service desk to purchase the system Richard was with me Homedepot told me that I have to have their plumber come out to my home since I have a 30+year's Home and it was gonna cost me $99. If I use their plumber the $99 will be deducted at the time of installation. The plumber did come out to my home and Richard was there at the house. Their plumber quoted me $1500 he said he could do it for $1200 that's insane.. Richard was surprised on the quote so he offered to use their plumber, call nationwide plumbing LLC. The plumbers name was Rick he came out and gave me a quote of $375 +75 for shut off valve total $450 It took the plumbers about an hour to install the system.. I do recommend this plumbing company for any plumbing needs. Richard came out a week later to test my water I'm giving this system of 4 star rating and the reason because I wasn't able to see a difference on the test kit that Richard used to test the water on hardness and chlorine all he could say is that it was alkaline water. I am happy with the system so far very little water spots on my dishes my skin feels softer and my hair feels better. The water taste good and very refreshing.. and Richard did reimburse me 50% of the $99.. read more
